How to Find an Airbnb Near You That’s Perfect for Your Needs
There are many ways to find an Airbnb near you in US cities. Here are a few of the best ways:
- Use the Airbnb website or app. This is the most obvious way to find an Airbnb, and it’s also the easiest. Simply enter your desired location and dates, and you’ll be presented with a list of available Airbnbs. You can filter the results by price, number of bedrooms, amenities, and other factors.
- Use a third-party website or app. There are a number of third-party websites and apps that list Airbnbs. These websites can be a good way to find Airbnbs that aren’t listed on the Airbnb website, or to compare prices from different sources. Some popular third-party websites and apps include:
- VRBO: Vacation Rental By Owner
- HomeAway: HomeAway
- Booking.com: Booking.com
- Expedia: Expedia
- Ask your friends or family. If you know someone who has stayed in an Airbnb, they may be able to recommend a good one for you. They may also be able to give you some insider tips on how to get the best deal.
- Search social media. There are a number of social media groups and forums where people post about their Airbnb experiences. These can be a good way to get honest feedback from other travelers.
- Attend a local travel fair. Many cities host travel fairs where you can meet with Airbnb hosts and learn more about their properties. This can be a great way to find an Airbnb that’s perfect for your needs.
Once you’ve found a few Airbnbs that you’re interested in, be sure to read the reviews carefully. This will give you a good idea of what other guests have experienced. You should also contact the host with any questions you have.
Here are some additional tips for finding an Airbnb near you in US cities:
- Be flexible with your dates. If you’re flexible with your travel dates, you’ll be more likely to find a good deal on an Airbnb.
- Book well in advance. The best Airbnbs tend to book up quickly, so it’s important to book well in advance.
- Consider the location. The location of the Airbnb is important, especially if you’re traveling for business or a special event. Be sure to choose an Airbnb that’s close to the things you want to see and do.
- Be aware of the cancellation policy. Each Airbnb has its own cancellation policy, so be sure to read it carefully before you book.

8 years agoThe owners were really friendly and super helpful with all of our questions. Had no problem accommodating all of our needs. Breakfast was always on time (And very tasty). There was a little bit of renovating going on but honestly, I didn’t mind at all, I hardly noticed. Bonus- Their dog Luna was a precious baby. Next time I’m in need to staying uptown again, I’ll be trying to book there.4 years agoSuper cute place, very friendly owners who made sure we were well taken care of. Homemade breakfast was super tasty. Beds are comfortable, TVs in room and a nice bathroom, lovely little living room and dining area. Would definitely reccomend, especially considering the great price!6 years agoMy adult daughter and I stayed at the Hopkins Bed and Breakfast 1/14/17 – 1/16/17. The hosts: Ethel and Barry were very nice, accommodating and provided very interesting conversation. Also, they had the sweetest dog, Luna. The homecooked breakfast was tasty and the coffee was excellent. The historical home could use some TLC with attention to detail. However, given the price per night, it was a good deal.5 years agoI feel like I am on vacation at home. Our hosts Barry and Ethel are extremely pleasant and enjoyable to spend time with. Our accommodations are quaint and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful! I highly recommend visiting. It’s like coming home to family. The area is nice and only a mile and a half from Great American Ballpark. Easy walk to the park!5 years agoBarry and Ethel are wonderful hosts! The room was spacious and the bed was very soft. The neighborhood is a bit noisy because of the hospital but is silent at night. Parking is safe, free and ample. Free wifi too. You would be hard pressed to find a better room (and breakfast!) at this rate.

11 months agoThe Swing House in Cincinnati is a man’s love story about a home restoration project. The swing as the focal point allows an interaction and appreciation for how the walls around you transcend into a work of art.We booked a stay here through AirBnB. The host is very kind and welcoming and allowed us to visit his house in progress next door.
The home is equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay as well as a very good sound system that is perfect for enhancing your artwork experience.
a year agoI just returned from a 7 night trip where I stayed somewhere different each night. The Swing House was by far the highlight of my trip. I love how the art in the house is crafted from pieces of the house itself. The house is unique and beautiful. When in Cincinnati you must stay here! You will remember the experience forever.a year agoThis was such a unique and stunning house to be able to spend a night in. The swing is so much fun and reminds me of being a kid. The lighting and acoustics are one-of-a-kind and the host is so nice. He obviously put a lot of work and thought into this concept????a year agoVery neat, art gallery/Air BnB that is open to the public second Saturday of each month, times on their website. The artist is a local Cincinnatian, very nice man, with a taste for interior decor art, and he is even working on a house next door as another Art Gallery/AirBnB!a year agoThis place is absolute magic! Beautiful, creative, relaxing. I will definitely book here for my next stay in Cincinnati!

I needed a selfcare day and this bed and breakfast establishment was a great choice. The onsite caretaker, Charles was fantastic. His outgoing personality fits well with this business. The house is beautiful and I loved the Victorian style. Learning the history of this home was fascinating and interesting. My pink room and bathroom were huge. The hot breakfast was delicious. I met a beautiful couple from South Carolina who’ve been married 53 yrs. We all had a nice conversation about our life experiences. I had a wonderful one night experience. The room rate was affordable and nice to support a small business owner. I look forward to staying here again in the near future.
PS It’s off a busy street and the sign was a challenge to see when driving at night.
I wanted to book this place for a family event. I remembered a tv news story that i has seen, and i had recently attended a funeral dinner there.
However, it is evident that the owner was not interested int my business. A year ago, i called twice, but did not receive a call back. I thought it might be covid related, so I decided to call this year. This time she set up appt for me, but failed to notify worker. Next, I asked 3 times to have a menu sent by email. One time she said she forgot. I have not received it yet. The last call she was interrupted with her child, and said she would call bk to see if it came through. It’s been over 3 hrs.
From my experience and some of the poor reviews, she won’t be in business long. I don’t know about stays but I would Carefully think twice if you want to schedule an event.
UPDATE:
It is now June 5th. The owner never sent menu, nor offered an apology.
My event would have only been about 20 elderly persons, nothing elaborate. I thought a historical setting might be charming.
Again think twice if you want to book this place!
Stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert! The room was amazing- so much space! Breakfast was wonderful each day and the place felt like home very quickly. Charles was so kind throughout our stay! Six acres was off well off the road and felt secluded from the city life. 10/10 would come back again!!
First off- the on site caretaker was very kind and helpful! Outside of him, this was an awful experience. We had a suite booked for months and when we showed up, we were told our room was cancelled. We had never contacted to cancel the room (or contacted them for anything after booking). While we were waiting there to figure it out, another woman there said her room got messed up too. Seems to be there specialty. After booking a hotel elsewhere last minute, we called the owner for our refund and it was the worst customer service experience I ever encountered. She claimed we were lying about not cancelling our room, raised her voice, refused to help us or refund us until she “cross referenced phone numbers”, couldn’t give us an estimated time she’d get in touch with us, etc. She had promised to text and call us the next day, no text or call ever came (shock!). An email has been sent now a week later with no response. If you want unneeded stress, to be talked to rudely, and to waste your money this is the place!
My wife & I stayed for two nights in the annex building. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as we met some great people which included the caretaker Charles. The breakfast was classic, sausage, eggs, biscuits, and hashbrowns that were all delicious. The history of the property being part of the underground railroad was a plus. The main house & annex are not at their best YET, but as caterers/event coordinators, we can see the great potential in the property as the historical site that it is & what it can be to the tourism & local event scene in Cincinnati. This will be our stay at from here on out.
