I was there a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful experience due to one employees exceptional service. Mara Adams went above and beyond to assist me. It had been years since I had gone to a physical store to shop for bras. I had tried some at VS or Amazon and they were all awful. I was extremely annoyed that I was not able to find anything comfortable. She listened to my issues and came up with great suggestions. She was able to find the exact sizes and colors I needed and even brought them back to me in the fitting room. Bra shopping is THE WORST but it was made fast and painless with Mara’s expertise and patience. Macy’s I hope you know you have an absolute diamond of an employee! It’s almost impossible to find anyone who cares about anything, let alone go above and beyond like Mara did.
Found what we needed but not anyone to help. Check out took quite some time and unfortunately it seems the employees don’t seem to enjoy their jobs.
Quick returns when needed and no fuss. So that was nice!

Worst experience I’ve ever had! I’ve shopped in forever, and this is the first time that I was treated poorly due to my race. The sales lady June, in cosmetics was very rude to me and lied to me about them being out of every Mac lip color that I asked her. She was very friendly with the other customers. Now, I understand that people may not like you because of the color of your skin but if you work at Macy’s, where you come in contact with all kinds, then maybe that is not the job for you. Long story short as I was leaving the store very upset about the way I was treated,and I’m not putting everything in here. Another sales lady that I know went right to the same location and showed me that they had every color Mac lip gloss that I had asked June for. Long story short she decided not to sell it to me because she didn’t like me, due to my skin color. An unbelievable experience that had me in tears, and that I will never forget as long as I live the way she made me feel.
Went to pickup an online order at the west entrance counter. I got in line directly behind a customer doing a return of multiple items. The older woman working the counter was taking so long returning the items (we’re talking MINUTES per item) and I couldn’t wait any more. No sense of urgency and awful customer service. She did acknowledge my presence after I had already been standing there for a few minutes and yelled “I’ll be with you shortly” but… that was it. I’m the SM of a store in that same exact mall (and have been in management for over 10 years) and that was really bad.
