  1. Mikey and Dakota came to install a new gas furnace today. They were punctual, polite, and worked fast. Overall, happy with their work, everything looks good and mikey came up with quick solutions to any problems that came up like patching holes in the ductwork.

    We did have some issues scheduling the install. We felt like we were getting juggled between people while trying to get an estimate confirmed and an appointment set, and waiting a long time for calls back all while having no heat.

  2. Called Mullen at 3:30 PM on a Friday and they showed up at about 6:30 PM that day. I had a complete backup affecting the whole house. They were able to easily diagnose my problem, gave me my options and up-front cost. They were done and gone by about 8 PM. Everyone from I I tracked with from the first phone call, to the onsite plumbers were very friendly and courteous. They even called me a few days later to make sure everything was OK which it was. That is great customer service. I can’t explain how important that is to me. 5 stars all the way.

  3. Highway robbery trying to take advantage of the elderly. Pick another company to perform your plumbing needs. Wanted $5000 to replace a waterline from the meter to the house at my dads home. I drove in overnight and took me and a coworker $300 in material and 6 hours to perform the work. This even includes the time it took to run and grab all the parts we needed once we dug the trench. Even renting a 7000lb excavator to dig and coring a new hole in the concrete wall, I have under a $1000 in this project. I understand every company needs to make a profit but this is price gouging.

  4. Had our toilet repaired in October 22, had issue with same toilet very early Monday morning. Call Tuesday morning asking them to look at issue, They were here by 9:00 am and problem repaired for No Charge. Outstanding Service and Professionalism. Highly recommend this company for plumbing services.

  5. Contacted Mullen Plumbing to come out & check our water heater (it wasn’t holding any hot water). We contacted your office at around 6:30pm on a Tuesday and was told that there were two options, the first would involve charging us a fee for an “overtime charge” since it was past your service hours for the day, or schedule for a plumber to come the next morning, so we picked the latter. The next day came around and we waited, and waited, and waited, until right about 5-5:30 (it was literally 6 minutes right after your “service hours” ended) and we got a phone call. It was a local plumber, contracted out by Mullen Plumbing, which said that he would have to charge us a “overtime fee” since it was past service hours. We explained that we had setup this appointment yesterday evening, so we were not going to pay any kind of service charge, as we had waited all day for the plumber to arrive. The plumber was then extremely rude while we tried to explain how we needed to fill out a warranty form that would cover our replacement part, and that he would need to put in his work he had done for the warranty claim, he responded with “I don’t sign no warranties”, so we swiftly responded with “We don’t need your services then”. We then contacted Al Marino Inc (Heating & Plumbing) the next morning, they were out at our house and had our hot water fixed within an hour of calling.

    In summary, I just want to say I’m extremely disappointed with Mullen for multiple reasons.

    1. You have a foreign call-center.
    2. Your contracted-out plumbers need a reality check.
    3. Overall, your quality & service has severely dissipated within the last 5 years.

    You will no longer have my household as a customer, nor will you have any member of my family or anyone I’m close to as a customer.

    My mother in law used this company to replace the main water line to her house. It was approximately 20 ft of pipe. Roughly 5 ft were outside and the rest is through a crawl space. The connection to the house is just dangling in the air. It looks very unprofessional and they charged 3,300 dollars. I would expect no more than 100 bucks per foot and a secure attachment to the current plumbing from a pro. Not satisfied!

    Al Marino Inc came to our rescue after a worker hit an unmarked water line while working on a foundation repair. We had no water. I called other companies but they were not able to help. Al Marino Inc understood the seriousness of our situation and was able to move their schedule around. We had a plumber at our house within 30 minutes. The repairman “Mike Graley” and his assistant were awesome! They had us up and running in no time. We were very thankful because we have our 82 and 83-year-old parents living with us. Having no water overnight would have not been a good situation. I did not know the vast range of their repair services until Mike told us. He represented the company very well. We will recommend Al Marino’s services to everyone. We will also be using them in the future for any of the services that we need.

    Had a pipe burst under my house and Al Marino was able to send someone out the day I called. I contacted several other companies in the Charleston/Cross Lanes area and most were unhelpful at best. Al Marino was great, prompt, and completed the repair the same day the tech came out. Special shout out to Cowboy for being friendly, understanding, and professional.

    I had a water pipe bust on Christmas and contacted this business and several others while they were not the ones to repair me they responded promptly while waiting for a call back I was able to get repaired Jay called me to schedule and sounded genuinely relieved my problem had been taken care of even if it wasn’t his company to do the work.     I rarely write reviews. But I need to urge everyone who sees this to trust and use Al Marino. When our electric bill jumped, they sent someone the next business day to investigate. I’m terrible with names, but that gentleman was thorough, answered my questions and, when he could’ve charged me more to do work that I had originally asked him to do, he chose not to because it would have been a waste of my money. Then the guys came out today to install a new heating system. And there were bumps in the road. They came out this morning, and it is now 8:24 p.m. and they’re still trying to make sure my home has heat. I have two small children and I even got frustrated with these men because I thought my kids were going to be frigid all night (honestly probably not a legitimate concern anyway, but it was one I had). They showed impressive professionalism, helped me understand, and worked to deescalate the situation, as did Mr. Marino himself. Not only that, but they continued to work hard, dealing with the problems and overcoming them. They could’ve legitimately left for the night, but they chose to keep working for their customer m. And they got the heat working. I would hope that the foregoing would be enough to make it clear. But if not, go with Al Marino. Mark, thanks for putting up with my nonsense. And thank you, Adam and Mason for a job very well done.

    I spoke with Kim who was very knowledgeable about what would be needed for installation of a water heater. She was also transparent about the associated costs. The two plumbers who did the installation arrived in a timely manner, explained everything they were doing and worked efficiently. My husband and I are very pleased with the end results.     This group is so wonderful, starting from calling and checking on my appointment that my Choice Home Warranty set up for me. She was so pleasant and very helpful answering my question. Michael and his partner that came to the house to fix my bathroom faucet was great they knew what to do and they even ran into some problems had to open up a wall to fixed the problem and they did a wonderful job, even put the wall panel back like it was. I would always call on this company for any plumbing problem that I have, and you should too!

    I have used this company on at least three occasions. The first was to fix gas leak at meter coming into the house. Next was for a hot water heater replacement. Most recently we had a leak in bathroom under pedestal sink and a dripping faucet in kitchen. We called on Saturday to set up an appointment for the following week. As it turns out they could fit us in that day and also discounted the price for coming on that day. Nathan and Mavin were here very quickly and replaced the hardware in both locations. They are friendly and professional and explain everything understandably. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will certainly use them again in the future.

    No one wants to see their home sewer get completely blocked. Neither do they want to have their backyard dug up to repair the problem. However, that’s what happened to me. A&P, plumbing, in particular, Greg, Truslow, and Micheal, did an exemplary job of the repair. My work schedule allowed me to watch, most of the repair and, even though I don’t do this kind of work, it seemed obvious that they were very skilled about they were doing. I can highly recommend them if you’re unfortunate enough to have this kind of problem.

    I highly recommend A&P due to their impeccable hard work and customer service. A gas leak was discovered at my home and Kim responded to my critical situation quickly, they showed up that day diagnosed the issue and had it resolved in two days. Greg and Landon worked hard non stop and their passion for their work showed. A&P was very easy to deal with, I cannot say enough about how great the staff is! When I found out about the gas leak, I called three companies and I am so glad I chose them, after speaking with Kim, I knew they were the right people to do the job that was very difficult and time consuming. I would definitely use them again!
