  1. The staff here is wonderful. As someone who has been to a few dermatologists in the area, this was the first time I felt listened to and felt like me, the doctor and the medical assistant were on the same team. They listened to my issues with my skin and helped me put together a plan to tackle my acne and I already feel much better! I would highly recommend SkinDC and Dr. Kalen!

  2. First time going to SkinDC and it was a great experience. Staff was professional, attentive and quick. Unlike the standard doctors office experience where you show up on time and still need to wait ~10-20+ minutes to be taken to a private room and then wait more for the doctor to show up, here I walked in and filled out the first time visit forms. Within a few minutes of completing that, I was taken to the private room and walked through a few questions with the doctor’s assistant. Then probably 2-3 minutes later, the doctor showed up to do the exam and that was it.

  3. 2 stars because the lady at the front that helped me check in was friendly and helpful. Made a medical dermatology appointment to treat some redness and itchy skin on my face and scalp. I have had this problem for majority of my life but haven’t been to a dermatologist in years. I don’t remember the name of the MA that took me back but I definitely felt rushed going over my medical history and questionnaire. I then met with the doctor, Dr. Kalen, and I felt even more rushed. I was wearing a mask and it wasn’t until I asked about cosmetic derm that she asked me to lower my mask to look at my face. She never even looked at or assessed my scalp. I get it that my condition might be ordinary but at least make your patients feel validated and heard. She was literally in the room with me for less than 5 minutes. It’s been about a month since I was there and I’m just now leaving the review because I wanted to see if the medication she prescribed me was helpful at least and it really hasn’t been. I’ve been following the recommended treatment and my symptoms haven’t subsided more than just using over the counter steroid cream. I’m an RN myself and this experience has definitely solidified how important it is to take the time to listen to my patients. I hope I never make them feel this way. Definitely won’t be back.

  4. I had a procedure done with Dr. Keaney, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I wish I could remembered the nurses names that assisted him during the procedure, but they were outstanding as well.

    From my consultation, with Nicole, to scheduling my appointment with Marcie, I can’t find anything negative to say about this practice. Although it is too early to see my results, I must leave a review about the experience for anyone who is considering going to SkinDC.

    The office is beautiful and well decorated, and the procedure rooms were clean and immaculate. The staff made sure everything was sterile and I was comfortable the whole time. The nurses talked to me and played music to keep me calm. I truly appreciate every single person that was in the room. I must say again, couldn’t be more satisfied.

  5. First and foremost, I was extremely impressed with Nicole’s professionalism and expertise in the field of laser hair removal. She took the time to explain the entire process to me in detail, including what to expect during the procedure and how to care for my skin afterwards. During the procedure itself, Nicole is very thorough and attentive. She makes sure to ask me if I am experiencing any discomfort or pain and keeps me talking and distracted the whole time. I can tell that she truly cares about making the process as enjoyable as possible!
    I am currently doing my legs and underarms and the results have been AMAZING! I used to get a ton on ingrown hairs in my legs and they are now completely gone! I don’t have to wake up in the middle of the night to frantically scratch my legs anymore. I have told her multiple times she has changed by life, and I truly mean it.

    Overall, I would highly recommend Nicole to anyone in need of laser hair removal services. Thank you, Nicole, for a wonderful experience!

    I am so happy I’ve discovered Vishka Skincare. This is my number one and only go to spa. I’ve done several procedures there. First one is laser I’ve got the package of 6 sessions and started seeing result form 2nd session. My legs started feeling softer, no ingrown hair and even if it grows (which is natural course) it feels smooth and they’re thinner and some areas no hair at all. I am very satisfied with the result. Second procedure was chemical and OMG it’s greatest thing I’ve done. I couldn’t believe my face would clear right away from acne and sun damage which I had a lot that times but I didn’t believe when my skin started glowing. Fay was great. She explained the procedure and gave me take home kit for the post chemical peel which include face wash I can’t live without now, moisturizer and sunscreen. Very careful and delicate I loved it so much I’m ready for my next one. They have variety of service they offer and I can’t wait to explore them. I gushed about to my friends and now I only suggest Vishka Skincare The staff is great and attentive, no problem with scheduling. I highly recommend it!

    I went here for Botox for my masseter muscles. I clench my jaw when I’m stressed and even my dentist commented on how strong my masseter muscles are, so I was looking forward to this procedure to alleviate the pressure and to get the face slimming effect I wanted. The front desk staff was so friendly and warm and made me feel instantly welcomed. The procedure was so quick and I barely felt pain. The doctor was kind, thorough, and very gentle. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for all your Botox, filler, and all other aesthetic procedures offered.

    WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WASTE OF MONEY: I paid for a full body hair removal 6 sessions and my technician was Sudi. While she did a good job being hospitable, I was upset by the lack of empathy and patience when I voiced my concerns. I was extremely disappointed to see that my hair didn’t decrease even 30% after 4 treatments and my facial hair got much worse than I ever had (even before surgery)! Just for context, I am South Asian and have relatively thick hair. I asked Sudi and the owner of grandeur laser why this was happening and they were EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL and RUDE. Instead of addressing my concerns and explaining what may be the issue, they become passive aggressive and said there was nothing they could do. They didn’t give me any refund or discount, INSTEAD they actually made me pay full price for my session by taking away the discount I initially had on the treatments. 0/10 RECOMMENDATION….never go to this place because they are all nice until something goes wrong and you are asking hard questions. I REGRET spending my time and money there. I am going to a new laser place and have seen much better results and better customer service.
