What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Had a great experience. Our mini goldendoodle is healthy and loved. The ladies there were great. They even give you a courtesy vet visit to assure you they sold you a healthy dog. Prices are fair. All dogs seemed loved and taken care of.

  2. I love Puppies & Rescues. I have purchased two puppies from this store, and both have turned out very healthy & happy pups!. I find that this business offers a very nice variety of breeds & clean bill of health. The staff is also very nice, and knowledgeable. Both times, have been great experiences. Onsite Staff answered my questions and made suggestions as well, based on my lifestyle and what I was looking. I will continue to purchase from this store. I am a very happy customer.

1/6/23 update. I purchased a new puppy from this business. Again, I couldn’t be happier. Healthy puppies with great temperaments and superb customer service.

  3. Got my puppy here almost 2 years ago. The prices compared to other dog stores are amazing and very reasonable. shes been healthy and happy since the day 1, so so thankful for this place

  4. All I can say , I am the luckiest lady that I got my precious Cavapoo – Laila from “puppies and rescues store” . After being scammed over the internet, with my broken heart I went to the store late evening . They have a large selection of different breeds . The staff is absolutely amazing and caring . They follow up with you after the adoption , to make sure you are happy with your pup. My Laila made a big entrance into my life and makes me happy and everyone around us. Will definitely come
back to you guys when I am ready to bring home a new friend for my Laila.

  5. HONEST REVIEW: Seems like some folks below had a bad day or two prior to arriving to this absolute puppy heaven because I cannot for the life of me imagine anyone having a bad experience here. The owner, Judy, and the manager, Brittany, were both incredibly kind, warm, hospitable, informative, and so so patient with me. I am a first time dog owner and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to find my precious girl Dakota. I’m all for honesty and transparency, but some of these bad reviews either have no context or are based entirely on miscommunication or lack of reading.

Don’t be fooled by the negative reviews, this is the place to find your new fur baby. The prices are so incredibly reasonable and the amount of love poured into these babies shows. I’ve had my mini Goldendoodle home for two weeks and she is the cuddliest, pet obedient and joyful pup. I’m grateful for Puppies and Rescues and I’ve recommended it to everyone I know!

I must admit at first I was a bit skeptical about the company when I first made an impulsive decision to purchase a kitten. I had not really researched much about the company other than the fact that they had the exact color and breed of kitten that I wanted. After placing my order through their website I began to read some of the reviews and was starting to worry. Through the process, before my kitten arrived, I drove to the store to see it in person and was amazed to see how organized and caring they were for the kittens they had inside that were waiting to be placed in customer homes. I went home that day feeling reassured that my cat will be happy and healthy when it came time to pick her up. I’ve had my kitten for 6 months now and I can’t be happier with my decision. She came from an amazing home that socialized her to be a warm, cuddly and loving kitten, which is rare for a female from what I hear! I take her for regular vet check ups and every single time the vet says that she is in great health and is not showing any signs of disease or issues. I highly recommend this store for anyone who is looking to purchase one of their unique kittens. You will not be disappointed!

I assure you that you can get the most wonderful cats from this place. These four beautiful Siberian cuties brought me so much joy. They’ve been healthy and super friendly from the moment I got them. I can tell that they must have been born in a nice and warm family. It’s definitely worth the cost. Thank you so much!

We wanted our kittens to be special and the one we wanted. After searching came to find this great place. What can I say? The staff are friendly and so helpful. We found our kitten to give a forever home to and the day of collection it was just perfect! We got pictures and a video when she arrived to the location. We couldn’t have been more excited to go and meet her. We drove 3 hours but it was worth it. We love our Bella!! Thank you guys. We all appreciate you!!!!

I purchased a Devon Rex kitten from Kittens Up in summer 2019. Our boy is just the best – he was exactly as described on his listing. KittensUp made it easy to meet them at the airport in Ft. Lauderdale to complete the transaction and fly home with my special cat. Two and a half years later, he is strong, healthy, silly, and fun. I can’t recommend KittensUp (or Devon Rexes) enough – I often browse their site and love that they have started to include videos of the kittens. Tempted to get another…

I never really leave reviews but I will say Kittensup was amazing throughout the whole process of purchasing our kitty. From the moment we purchased him they got in contact with me quickly to give me details and answered all my questions. I had multiple questions on different days and I felt like I was bothering so much with the questions but never did they say anything on the contrary they got back to me quickly with all answers from breeder. At first I was a little worried because of the mixed reviews but I’m glad we actually went for it because our kitty is making our house feel so complete and we love him so much he is very loving. He looks exactly like his photos and we took him to the vet to get checked twice and they said he was good & had all his vaccines up to date. Thank you kittensup for the amazing service, I recommend one of my friends to you guys already. And my fiancé and I will most definitely purchase from this company again.

Adopt a Stray is an amazing organization that does so much good in our community. They work so hard to ensure that all their kitties find the best, long-standing, safe and loving homes. Cindy and the staff over the years have dedicated their time and so much selfless effort to ensure people have the most up to date information and support for the lifetime of their furry loved ones! Several kitty parents that adopted many years before have come back to adopt again because of the positive experience they had with Cindy. She is always there to guide, help and support long after the adoption process. If you are looking to adopt a kitty, I strongly recommend checking out Adopt a Stray!

I adopted a cat from Cindy years ago. It’s nice to see her standards haven’t wavered. 1) HER cats should NEVER be outside cats. There are a ton of predators here! 2) she is very strict because of the amount of time, money and resources she puts in. She has been in rescue a long time and has discretion and places these cats ONLY in the BEST homes!!!

The people saying that they don’t know why they won’t let them adopt are right. This lady in charge told us sorry they are a pair, so we decided to get both but it was still a no. This lady doesn’t want the cats to be adopted. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Required an application which I filled out to adopt a stray. I never heard of such requirement’s in order to save possibly abused or abandoned animals. They then wanted all my previous animal records from my veterinarians. I appreciate them looking out for their strays following adoption but this was overboard.

Very disappointing! My husband and I went into PetSmart to buy food for our German shepherd and came across Adopt-A-Stray. We fell in love with a 3 month old kitten and filled out the application. Within 48 hours, I was contacted by Cindy and asked various questions about feeding, different types of litter, where I lived, etc… After our conversation, I was told to pick up the kitten on Saturday but later that night I was contacted again. They have asked me what type of litter I was planning on using. Given that my kitten have their own backyard and personal space, using a litterbox was new to me. Cindy and her staff had a problem with the fact that MY cats were trained to go outside. I was denied the opportunity to adopt because Cindy felt entitled to tell me how I should train and care for MY animals. . Not only did she feel entitled but was very rude and disrespectful during our conversations. Last time I checked, everyone has their own way to feed, train and love their own animals. Adopt-A-Stray needs to find someone more caring and understanding when it come to applicants.
