Customer service can use some work that’s the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in a Best Buy when we walked In nobody said hi and we needed someone in a department and there was nobody around had to end up walking to front of store to get help with something usually people are walking around asking customers what they need. The person who helped us purchase the item was great! But overall store needs better customer service or more employees. Awesome deals tho!!

  2. Always busy. I hate that the front entrance has people’s orders all over the place. To me, it looks unorganized and messy. However, the staff are very friendly and they usually have a great stock. Price match is the best part of Best Buy to me. Great store.

This Best Buy was very different to every other Best Buy I have been in,… I was checking out some appliances and asked a employee for some information (I didn’t see her name but she had a cast/brace on her foot), she was not rude but her answer was real blunt and kept on walking away. Also, when I went to pay I said hello (male cash register) and he didn’t even replied back. I get it they (employees) are upset and I also understand that there are some clients that make they life miserable but not every client is bad, mean, etc. But they’re some clients that are respectful and appreciate your help when we need them (employees) and don’t deserve that kind of attitude. By the way there was a male employee that was able to get help me out getting some information of an item.

  4. I had the best experience at the Best Buy on Skibo Road recently because of Jamal Bryant. He was courteous, attentive, and professional. He anticipated my questions and answered them all patiently.

    We had a great buying experience at Best Buy in Greensboro. Our sales person “M” was thorough, knowledgeable, and very friendly. He answered all our questions and was patient and kind.

    I would like to implore the management though, to consider a high chair or something for these associates who have to stand all day long! They are not perceived as being lazy sitting while deftly handling a transaction. It rather seemed inhumane to allow associates to stand the entire day. It was easy to see, from our perspective, that they were hurting.

    Other than that observation, great store and sales team!

    Went in to look at car stereo units. We asked an associate not working that area to get us some help. After about 20-25 minutes we asked another associate to get us some help. After about 35-40 minutes an associate came to our assistance. He was able to pull up some parts information we may need for our vehicle. They didn’t stock any of the parts. We are still undecided about purchasing from Best Buy..

    Products I purchase here are great fine and dandy. However, customer service at register needs some help big time with their attitudes. Least they can do is show they care about customers since we pay our hard money to buy from best buy. And on top of that, I mean come on!!!! 10 cents per bag(s) now?!?!? Really!!??? That’s the dumbest things I’ve ever heard of!

    Like many Best Buy, they aren’t what they used to be.
    Pros:. Location had good customer service, friendly, on-hand. Environment was clean and fairly organized.
    Cons:. Several phone displays missing or missing information. Other general retail shortcomings (missing price labels, items in stocked in incorrect spot, etc.

    For me, three Stars is the expectation for retail shopping, these days.

    Let me tell you about my trip to BEST BUY. I traveled there to buy a TV for a disabled VETERAN. It was not at the time, my first choice. HOWEVER, IT IS MY FIRST CHOICE NOW ! The service was superior to anything I have experienced in recent shopping. Help by an employee to find the best TV, Kind, knowledgeable, and he even carried it to the front of the store, AND checked me out thus avoiding a line. If I have to buy another electronic item, YOU KNOW WHERE I WILL BE ?

    I don’t make comments on businesses often. I don’t send food back at restaurants typically when they mess up, just never been that kind of person.

    However, the level of absurdity displayed by Best Buy these past two weeks is beyond my level of tolerance.

    I have shopped for camera gear and equipment with Best Buy since I started Noah Overby Photography. Recently I had ordered a lens to assist in capturing some upcoming sessions and weddings from their website. I was sent the item and when it arrived I was welcomed by a used lens from a completely different brand that had been switched out in their distribution center by an employee that stole the lens I had ordered. Notifying them of the issue I was instructed by the corporate office to bring the “Rock in A Box” to my local Best Buy to get the situation handled. Upon my arrival I was told that there was nothing they could do with the item but hold on to it until my replacement order arrived at my house. Leaving the lens in their possession I left with a paper stating the return would be processed when the new lens arrived. Corporate assured me that the replacement would arrive within two days time. Fast forward to the day the corrected order was supposed to show and I received an email stating that the lens couldn’t be processed and it wouldn’t arrive until two weeks later. I spoke with corporate again and was informed that my lens had been given to another customer that had ordered it by, you guessed it, the distribution center again. I then canceled my order and decided to place the order with a much better company in all aspects, B&H Photo Video Pro Audio. The order from B&H arrived the next day with no issues. Best Buy assured me once more that my refund had processed at this point. I checked online two days later to find that my returned item still reflected as if I never had returned it all. I call corporate again to be told that the best they can do is get the store I was instructed to bring the item to give me a call back in 6 hours. I go to the store where I brought the “Rock in A Box” and was told that they will be doing nothing on my behalf and it is now up to me per corporate to send the item back to get my money refunded.
    As you can imagine this caused great frustration. So now we wait and see if they can at least get this part accomplished.

    I strongly encourage all who reads this post to bring your business for camera equipment or any electronics for that matter to other places than Best Buy. You are likely to receive a defective or incorrect item and you will not be given the slightest bit of proper assistance from any of their customer service associates in-store or on the phone.

    I can’t honestly say that they don’t deserve one star. Purchasing products was not the problem, having the product installed was! They contract out to a third party and they don’t show up! They don’t contact you to confirm either arrival time or whether you need to reschedule. They rescheduled my appointment with out my knowledge or consent! When calling to inquire as to why they haven’t arrived for the install, that’s when they inform you about the reschedule. They tell you that you need to reschedule, yes they are correct I will reschedule for the pick up of their product, a full refund and never will I do business with them again. After all, if they don’t have customers they won’t have a business! Sorry Best Buy, this time you weren’t my “Best Buy”!
