AJ Bono has been giving me a complete runaround on a service order on the simplest tub drain leak. It has been over 3 weeks now. I opened up the ceiling prior to their latest visit and I even purchased some replacement piping and appurtenances. This time they were again here for only 5 minutes and said they needed to report back to the home warranty before proceeding. I waited over a week for this “appointment” and cleared my whole morning. They already knew that I opened the ceiling up for a tub drain leak on the p-trap. If they just needed a 5 minute stop to verify, why did it take over a week to come out? This was THE most positive experience.
Terence was a consumate professional;
Excellent communication skills, very knowledgeable, surprisingly accommodating, thorough, patient and ‘real’. He was respectful of our property, our time and of us. There was no wasted time just considerate effort to do his job extremely well.
If he were a general contractor we would be thrilled to have him do more for our house.
We were prepared for an expensive installation but were very pleased with the value for all the work provided!
Roto Rooter has consistently come through for us, no matter the size of the job. The technicians we’ve had are outstanding.
We had a busted pipe late at night, and they were here first thing in the morning!
They got everything dry and were done in a week! Excellent service!
They also discovered some mold, which they got rid of too!
The service was fine but they would not give us a quote until they arrived. The technician quoted $475. We were desperate because we had a backed up sewer and house guests arriving. We negotiated down to $400 which still seemed excessive for less than an hours work on a weekday afternoon.
It was our fault for not doing maintenance clean out and waiting for it to back up. We know we need to clean it out every two years. Next time will be more proactive and use a less expensive company.
Had a back up on the main line today (Saturday), also my wife’s birthday so I decided to wait until later in the day to look at it since we had plans. When I looked at it later at 5pm I ran a 25’ auger without any issues but it didn’t solve the problem so that’s when I decided to call Roto Rooter. They said the could have someone out between 6-10pm, they would not give an estimate over the phone, just that the tech would give an estimate on site. Tech came at 9:30pm and quoted $480, which I wasn’t thrilled about, but given the emergency I had no choice. My wife found a $50 coupon to lessen the pain a bit.
The tech was very good. Young guy but very professional. He explained what he was doing and ran 3 passes with 3” and 4” blades all the way to the middle of the street, about 80’. The drain cleared out with the first pass but he still went ahead with the 2 other passes to really cut out any roots which I appreaciated. Never felt like he was rushing even though we were his last call.
So overall the price felt high but the service was excellent. Would recommend them and it’s probably a lot cheaper if I was smart enough to schedule this as a regular thing every 2-3 years…
My tech, Guy was absolutely wonderful! He was so helpful and communicative. I appreciated his thoroughness when answering my questions. He recommended the next steps I should take in resolving my issue. Just 100% in Customer Service. Thank you Guy you’re amazing!!!!! Happy New Year!!! 😁
