  1. Roto-Rooter provided the most professional employee for a water heater replacement (Caleb M. #5505). Showed up on-time with a courtesy notification to inspect the leak, confirm the issue and was back with a new unit to install in 1.5hrs. My crawlspace is essentially a 3ft tall torture chamber with a small concrete pit… Caleb managed to get the old heater out with zero rust-water spills and new heater in without a scratch. Very knowledgeable on code requirements; best contractor I’ve let into my home.

  2. Summary of disappointments:
    Rescheduled, last minute, on me three times and my next day repair wound up taking place 3 days later.

    Charge was shocking. Genuinely. We were told they are an emergency plumbing service and they charge higher rates. See my last point. What’s the emergency when the repair is rescheduled twice? Customer service representative told me, when scheduling the repair, they could not share “any idea of the prices for services because they were not provided any guidance on pricing.” After seeing our bill, I can see why.

    To add insult to injury, a hole was cut in our ceiling for the repair. The plumber told us he would cut the whole so we could easily cover with an air vent. He then left. He left behind a crooked cut out that was off of the measurements he promised we could cover with a reasonably sized air vent. Nope. No we have several hundred dollars of dry wall repair.

    This experience is the worst I have ever had in calling in a repair service. When asked to explain how the plumber arrived at the exorbitant fee he said, “That’s just what we charge.” No breakdown of parts or labor nor comparison to market standards. We genuinely felt taken which is not a good feeling.

  3. Jason and Brandon came out to my house within the estimated time window. They were friendly and approachable as well as very thorough and knowledgeable about issues they were seeing after unclogging the basement drain line using a camera. They called over an additional technician for a quote for a potential future repair. I feel more knowledgeable about my house’s sewer line situation and will definitely call them again.

  4. Our experience from the beginning was exactly what we needed. We were fortunate to schedule same-day service at the time we needed that worked with our schedules. Kenneth was on time, knowledgeable, prepared, professional, and kind. He was able to fix our garbage disposal in less than an hour but also identified other pipes that needed to be fixed and was able to do that for us.
    Thoroughly impressed with the service and quality Kenneth provided. We’re so grateful! Highly recommended.

  5. The business was easy to work with. I had an appointment within 24 hour of my first call.
    When Connor showed up with his team in his uniform he had great customer service. He explained the issue and repairs in a way I could understand. He gave me a price that didn’t change after the work was done.
    My new water heater is working great. I’d definitely hire them for any plumbing issues in the future.

    I called Mr Rooter and was able to get a same-day appointment. Worked with Carter, he was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and got the job done quickly. He even gave me a couple tips for next time. This is the second time we’ve called Mr. Rooter (unrelated issues, don’t worry) and both jobs were done thoroughly by genuinely nice dudes who clearly take pride in their work. Reasonably priced for quality of work, great experiences both times.

    I called Mr rooter to get my kitchen sink plumbing unclogged. I was quoted a fair price which is exactly what I paid. No tax no hidden fees. Benjamin called 15 minutes before he was supposed to get here. He arrived on time. He was very personable and very knowledgeable. He was clean. He wore booties whenever he was in the house and made sure that my laminate flooring would not get damaged. He unclogged my drain and ran water through it for a long time to make sure that it was clear. Cleaned up all of his mess which was very minimal. All in all this was literally the best plumbing type problem I’ve ever had. I will definitely be using Mr rooter in the future.

    Benjamin was very very helpful, polite, & knowledgeable. He was very helpful throughout the installation. He even helped us get the right water heater. Turns out last water heater was for module home and not residential. I would definitely have Mr Rooter do all our plumbing work with Benjamin being the technician.     As a recent first time home owner, it’s awesome to have found a company we can trust and rely on for our plumbing needs. The tech Brandon was outstanding. Brandon was hardworking, professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. The price was certainly on the higher end but honestly the tech sold me on their services and company in general. In addition the office worked with me on a coupon listed on their website. The financing options are easy and quick. Overall I’m very happy with the work done and look forward to working with them in the future. (Little background) House was built in 84 and needed some updates including replacing a 21 year old water heater.

    Everyone I’ve spoken with from Smith has been courteous, professional, and did a great job explaining everything I wanted to know about their work in great detail without talking over my head or talking down to me – everything they told me was easy to understand! Nobody ever tried to give me an urgent call to act immediately on anything or made me feel pressured for any upsells – anything they suggested for different options was just that, a suggestion, with very good explanations as to why. They gave me a great value on my furnace replacement and central A/C install last year, and helped me with plumbing issues just this week (toilet leak and some water hammer/pressure problems I had been long ignoring). I feel a lot safer about my plumbing now that they’ve fixed both things, and I’ve already recommended this company to friends and family.
