7 months agoSo happy with this pharmacy after foolishly suffering with another New Haven pharmacy for years. Pleasant employees every time, and much better prices. I actually don’t dread coming here.a year agoDid a refill request via the Krogers app; waited all day for information regarding my medicine that was supposed to be filled by 12:30; no word. Check the app the next day and there is nothing there! Like my request never even existed. When I call they tell me they’re no refills on the medicine. I told them yes i’m aware and the other Kroger pharmacies I’ve went to in the past have always called or sent a request off to the doctors; she said yes they would do that. I asked if it was their policy to just disregard people and not let them know what’s going on even though I’m signed up for notifications. She said it wasn’t showing up in their system where I had requested the medicine. Oh course not it was deleted out when you all saw there was no refills and didn’t want to contact the doctors. I requested saint joes road Krogers and not New Haven because the quality of service but yet it was sent to New Haven on the app anyhow…. 🙄 lovely.4 years agoBest Pharmacy I have ever used. The technicians and Pharmacists are always friendly, and very knowledgeable. When I lost my insurance they were very helpful with finding us discounted prescriptions. Once we were back on insurance we were informed of the prescriptions that would be less if we did not go through our insurance. I only use this pharmacy.a year agoKroger needs to open back up more. I need my prescription but hate when I can’t pick them up before work. Although I am grateful for the later hours again. You need to open back up to the older hours.5 years agoOkay so today’s review is brought to you by my experience. I attempted to refill a prescription but stood at the window for a good 10 minutes watching some woman and man reorganize and clean shelves. I walked to the other window and was told my prescription would require a call to my doctor. Not to mention the attitude I was greeted with made me feel like a total burden. I got denied medicine and wasn’t told why. Oh and the week before when I tried getting that same medication I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. 40 minutes pass by and I’ve heard not a word so I go to the window to find out that oh I was OUT of refills. This pharmacy has wasted my time and patience for a woman who depends on her medicine for living life comfortably. AVOID.

The majority of the items we have purchased have had a good flavor & we have bought those things on multiple occasions.6 years agoI love these bakery cakes for my kid’s birthdays they always have what I need or are willing to help get it so its always just right!!! A store in need of a major cleaning. And most of the pictures posted are not even the New Haven Kroger
There were only self check outs open and the “cashier” watching the checkouts was sleeping! I asked a question and she pointed instead spoke to me. What is the world!? Kroger, you need to step it up. Hire employees that are helpful abd AWAKE! GOODNESS! (Sunday August 27th at 8:00am)
Our Kro-GER(private joke between me and my husband-nothing to do with satisfaction at stores), is very clean, for the most part. The staff are great 👍 from cashier to pharmacy, bagging. Sometimes – we go to the stellhorn store IF there’s an item not being carried at New Haven store. OVERALL we ARE PLEASED.
Update 9/15/2023 I’ve been going to this store since 2009. Kroger has always been a nice place to shop. They have really improved the produce the last year. They did remodel the store a couple years and that was a great improvement too !
I’m always impressed by the staff, very helpful & pleasant ! The store is nice & clean. The variety & quality of products is good and items are easy to find. Getting assistance is not hard at all.
Do you want to feel like your business is a bother? Do you enjoy lazy teenagers with attitude problems who refuse to acknowledge you while going through the checkout lane? Do you like stockers rolling their eyes at you while you pass down the food isle to look for your items?! Then come to New Haven Kroger! Spend a fortune and be treated like absolute garbage and ignored with even a basic common greeting! Have a douche bag teenager looking for a job? This is the place! Come on in!
