  Honestly enjoy going to this Walmart! Clean for walmarts and the employees are awesome! I don’t go that often but the greeter somehow remembers me and always is enthusiastic! They are well organized and you can ask any Walmart clerk were anything is and they are able to pull it up and give me exact directions! They have directories and clear lettered signs to help you find what you need and what you didn’t expect to buy going in lol.

  Clean and functional Walmart, can find good deals on clearance sometimes, layout is very functional and easy to find items. Very good selection of houseware and sporting goods!

  Would be better rated if they weren’t always out of the things I want and need and if they had more cashiers instead of all self check. If I have to check myself out then you need to trust me and quit stopping me to always check my receipt. If think we are a stealing then go back to people cashiers. Ugh

  Don’t know what happened to my post commented the other day about how a product was worked at 1 price got to register it was another price Cynthia the management associate or whoever she was had a nasty attitude gonna tell me I should have known better Terrible customer service As you can see the product looked like it should be 2998 but no it was 44 in some change. 1st tried to abuse me of coding the product in the wrong place and to write shoulder there was a shelf full of products in the wrong place.

  The place is huge( just moved here from California) like all other superstores I have visited crossing the country but this the closest to me and the staff are all helpful n friendly and more than a few have gone out of there way to help me ( names come later as I remember them) so I will continue shop here lightly…like in only 2 -4 items because they only have self check out!!? To be fair they have 2 assisted check out isles BUT NO ONE EVER ABLE TO OPEN EVEN 1 isle! there are 9 paid people standing around watching you self checkout- occasionally giving assistance but no check out I want to take a cart full of groceries to … so light shopping it’s fantastic with great selection.

  Let me start by saying that this was my very first and last time in this store. As a person that is coming from out of town this was by far one of the WORST experiences that i have ever had in a Walmart. From the customer service reps. being rude. To the manager not wanting come out of their office and show their face and actually address what our issues was as store customers. To food being expired, items being improperly labeled it was just all bad. Then we encountered their Manager from the Vision Department named James. By far the best employee that this store has got. He literally saved our day. In my opinion James from the Vision Department should be the one running that entire store. He seems to be the only one in that store with the people and business skills that it takes to run a store that would keep customers gladly coming back. Thanks for everything James.

  Completely self checkout out… Line to checkout was ridiculous. Found everything but a charger. They were in locked cases couldn’t find a associate for electronics so yeah. Fun trip try again when not so busy

  Grocery shopped, the prices have gone through the roof. The store was clean. There was a shortage of carts inside, I had to go back outside to get one.
  The checkout customer service was great/nice.
  Overall…IT’S WALMART, it was ok to visit. THEY HAD WHAT I LOOKED FOR AND NEEDED.

  The customer service is always impeccable and the lines for checking out are never long because of employee efficiency. Also, you can never go wrong with the short stop by Subway inside for a quick bite to eat. But I think the best part about this branch of Walmart is the iFix and Repair cell phone store they have inside near the customer service desk and money Center

  Placed an order for pick up (I have done this multiple times with no problems) today I asked the customer service person to place my order in the trunk. When I arrived home I was missing 7 out of the 10 items ordered. Frustrating but I understand mistakes happen. What really made me upset was when I tried to call Walmart directly the phone just rang and rang. I tried the pick up department and regular customer service. Called multiple times with the same result. Eventually I was able to get great help through the Walmart app. Next time I will just order from Kroger

  We waited for 45 minutes (with other customers standing by waiting also) for someone to come to the electronics desk to assist us before we left WITHOUT being serviced! All we needed was the case to be unlocked to get a product. Multiple associates called for service, we listened to them announce on the intercom an associate was needed in the electronics department multiple times. We pressed the service button multiple times. One elderly associate came to the desk and announced on the intercom in front of us “I need Courtney or a member of management to come to electronics.” Another 20 minutes went by and I walked to the front to the customer service desk to find a manager. 3 managers INCLUDING the one named Courtney were there all just standing around talking and not even about work related topics! When I went to the back to get my bf I told the other waiting customers what I had just seen and a couple of them got fed up and left also. This is a continuous problem in the electronics and outdoor/hunting department! 2 critical profitable departments that should never be left unattended during store hours especially at this time of the year!

  Walmart is not the same as it once was, and Sam Walton would be so disappointed. Nothing is ever in stocks. When you order something to be mailed, they have contracted with people driving their own vehicles that are rude, scared of dogs, and have wrong items. They no longer use postal service. Their website also makes it seem that you are ordering items from the store, only to find out that it’s from foreign countries and will take months to ever receive it. Stick with Kroger and target. We can watch walmart become a closed franchise

  the online ordering is often a hit or a miss. the employees here are either really nice or not at all. they are either really fast with your online orders or very slow. they need more slots for the online pick up parking, as regular customers tend to take up a couple of them and there are only 6 spots. it was terrible right before Christmas, as people started pulling up to the curb to get their online orders and I have had to cancel more than one order due to that. it’s better when it’s not around Christmas time though, obviously.

  Some of the pick-up department staff are amazing and the others simply deign to work there in between whining and bad attitudes. These guys are busy at certain times of the day, like when everyone is off work. I mean like mothers day at a restaurant type of busy. They keep up with the pace pretty well; however, our order is frequently wrong. We get stuff we didn’t order, we are missing items, expired products, damaged goods, etc. It seems to be a management and training issue. It’s Wal-Mart lol🤷🏻‍♀️😜

  The first time in 6 months I went into a neat, clean, well stocked ,and friendly walmart. (Ridgeland, North Park) very impressed. I visit all of the other stores around the area regularly. This walmart had—-No pallets of merchandise everywhere or groups of associations doing nothing, but conversations.They were ready for shoppers. My first time there in years, because I couldn’t find what I wanted in the other stores. The website said the others had it,but none one the out to purchase , found it there ! I will return, even if it’s well out of my way.

  I’ve been to this location twice. Nothing different from the other Walmarts except I’ve noticed more variety, cleanliness and things are pretty well stocked. The only annoying thing is at night time, they have on register open and the self check out only has like three working and it can get busy with customers. Check out was like twenty minutes. I’d still go here again though!!

  The walmart in Ridgeland is my neighborhood store. I placed an order for a cake on October the 15, 2021, to be made on October 30. The experience that day was not a good one. Before placing my order I experienced the woman in the bakery being rude to two other people, then rude and short with me also. The manager, I believe her name was Hurtestine was extremely nice and helpful in resolving my issue with the rude employee. I called the store on October 29th to confirm my order. The young lady confirmed my order and was very pleasant. When I went to go pick up the cake I was informed that it was not ready and I couldn’t have it at my scheduled time. He said it would take until12:30 to get the cake. I proceeded to go get the manager to speed up the process. Evidently the man I spoke to was a manager, but he was over the Deli. Evidently the baker wasn’t even scheduled to come in until 12, and was not there as of yet. When I placed my order it was written on a piece of paper with another order for the previous day, so the baker had to know she had an order at 12 that day. They both seemed very indifferent about the order. Upset and not wanting to spend my money with Walmart, I put down the other items that I planned to purchase and went looking for a cake for my 4 year old grandson. So his spiderman party had the cake shown, instead of what I was hoping for. Why isn’t there more than one person that can dress a cake? If she was going to be at work at 12, why didn’t she dress the cake the day before? Why isn’t anyone cross trained for this job, even a manager to prevent this kind of incident. Very disappointed, won’t be seeing me for a while, you don’t deserve my money. Pictured is my grandson dressed as spiderman for his day.

  I think every Walmart could improve, but our Laurel Walmart is much better than Hattiesburg’s! I will say that it stays clean, the product is there the majority of the time, and the self checkout is the best thing that ever happened to this place!

  The store is very well maintained and stocked , however if you need help with ANYTHING there are very few employees there who help you. Most look and roll eyes like your inconveniencing them. What happened to the days of greeting customers and making their experience the best to your ability.?

  I had a pickup order scheduled for 9-10pm. At 9:00 received an email saying it was taking longer than expected but that it was still being worked on. At 10:00pmi called to find the issue and how much longer it would take. The pickers had left, but I could get it in the morning. I waited an hour. None had even bothered to tell me my order wasn’t being processed.
  Very nice customer service man on the phone. But stupid, inept policies in place.
