What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. This is a great place to stay! We had an amazing time and enjoyed it so much we decided to stay another night. The staff was SO NICE and helpful with everything, by far the nicest staff I’ve encountered. We stayed in the standard room and it was perfect for 4 of us (2 adults & 2 small children), the kitchen had everything we need. Pots, pans, utensils(to eat & to cook) , plates and cups. They also gave us all small sample sizes of a sponge, dish soap, dishwasher soap and laundry detergent, so I do recommend bringing your own if you’re staying a bit.

The pool and hot tub were so fun and relaxing, it’s such a good size area we’re our kids were able to have fun and others were able to relax. This location also offered other activities like shuffle board, volley ball, basketball court and an activity center. We rented movies and games every night and we were able to bring them up and enjoy them in our room.

The beach is literally right there, you just walk the small pier and you can find a great spot with hardly anyone there. The hotel also has umbrellas you can borrow (first come, first serve, but we always got one), and sandcastle toys! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because on our last day I was charged for our trip again after paying for it months before. That’s really inconvenient because that’s a big charge to have twice especially when you’re on vacation. They said it was a computer glitch and it doesn’t happens often so I’m sure it’s nothing to be concern about but still wanted to mention that.

Overall our experience was amazing and I can’t wait to go back! This will be our go-to resort for now on in Galveston, Texas.. so fun!!

  2. Best vacation ever!!! Our room had a kitchen, so we could save money on eating out. Kids borrowed games & movies from the activity center. Played shuffleboard, volleyball! Great views of the beach. Within walking distance to a restaurant & the beach. Washer & dryer in the room! Hope we can come back again!!!

  3. Undeniably, a great location, right on the beach with good views from the room.
Our first room was incredibly noisy with some kind of generator kicking in for a few minutes, then turning for 30 seconds, and starting again. There’s no way anyone could sleep in that room.
We were moved into a new room which was much better.
The rooms come with a mini kitchen and washing machine which was a welcome break on our two week road trip as we could save on eating out and freshen up our clothes.
The free DVD rental from the hotel is a great idea, hot tub was nice and warm and the pool was clean.
Strangely, when checking in, we were told we had to go to a 90 minute sales talk to buy time shares. Given that we are from the UK and doing a road trip of Texas, we had no intention of going to a sales talk, let alone 90 minutes in the middle of the day. They then Promised us $250 cash to go, which peaked our interest. However then they wanted all our personal details, identification and a card to hold on file which we would be charged if we did not attend. Our interest then went back down. All this, whilst stood in the hotel lobby with all our bags, after a 4 hour drive, I was starting to get a little cranky as I just wanted to get to the room. As soon as I explained this, I was given the cold shoulder and shown the door, and pointed in the wrong direction to my room.
This awful pressure sales pitch left a poor taste in our mouth for the 2 night stay.
2 days after checkout, I have been charged around $20 to my card and I can’t get hold of anyone who can tell me why.
All in all, the rooms are acceptable and the location is good, but there’s no luxury here.

  4. Great location but we had a lot of trouble with rooms. First room was next to a compressor or fan or something and the whole room was vibrating and no one could sleep. Moved the next day to a room that was better but had balcony door that didn’t close properly. The beds were okay, the pullout couch mattresses were terrible. On the flip side, the staff are friendly (until someone declines the time share plan, I heard them get very hostile to a customer while I was with my child in the game room), the pool and hot tub are nice and it has a great path to a beautiful beach. Easy to get to and get to nearby attractions by car.

  5. We absolutely love this location. The infinity pool is great! There is a fish cleaning station and multiple places you can wash off at after taking the boardwalk over to the beach. Sandy was always amazing when checking in here.

Love this place, love the amenities. The club house offers coffee, ice, showers, public cooking spaces with sinks, fridges, and propane grills. My only complaint is that the mosquito spray is on a sprinkler style system at the pool on the rail of the fence and it fumigates my family and small children. Horribly toxic. I wish it would at least only run after hours.

Awesome rv resort. Quiet, clean, and many amenities we’ve not seen at other resorts. Very large, clean laundry facility. Large community center with exercise equipment, pool table, popcorn machine, coffee urns, big screen tv, comfortable seating, and ice machine for drinks. Separate computer center. Several dog areas. Several pavilions with many tables, grills, and refrigerators. One pavilion even has a big screen tv! Lovely swings at locations around the lake. We truly enjoyed our time here!

I have lived here almost 2 years. It is a very nice, well maintained park. The security is top notch with gated access and security coded restroom areas. I have never had to worry about my property or vehicle.

It is a little pricey but after looking at other places I feel that I am getting what I pay for. Management is friendly and helpful. Staff go out of their way to keep the place nice. I am only leaving because of my new job. I will definitely come back if I am in the area again.

Took the boys here for an impromptu overnight stay at the beach. So glad I picked this hotel! The managers of the park & hotel totally made this stay! They were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They had the beach area cleaned up from the seaweed stuff, they set out tents and chairs for the guest to use, gave fishing advice to my son, and checked on us multiple times throughout our stay. She gave my youngest a little spray bottle of vinegar for jellyfish (which he did need to use, but fortunately, the jellyfish were not too bad this trip). They were awesome! Will definitely stay here again when I return to Surfside.

Our new favorite RV Park to camp at the beach. You can’t ask for a better location. The park is well maintained and clean.
Memorial Day weekend was amazing! They offered bicycle rental on site which made it very convenient, the bikes were brand new! The manager Lisa and her husband go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had elderly parents with us, and anytime they noticed them walking to the beach, offered them to ride their golf cart instead.
This was our second visit and looking forward to our next on 4th of July weekend.

We were in an RV. It was clean, the hook ups worked perfectly and we connected quite easily to everything. The staff explained everything to keep anyone out of trouble on the beach. Stay out of the dunes!!! They were perfect!!! There’s a firepit and a lighter and cut wood was dropped off while we enjoyed the seats. Pet friendly as well! ☺️ Our buddy passed, a bit ago, but it’s great that when we’re ready for another, so are they!!! Beach access was easy and we saw it from our site! Hubby and I are quiet folks and no one here was loud, no weird music outdoors all night. Everyone was just friendly, having fun and respectful. I pray that my positive review doesn’t encourage anyone not the same way here! 🙏

Seriously folks the Breezes is THE place to stay in Surfside Beach, TX for RV and hotel accommodations. The beachfront location is perfect. The suites are great and include a living room with fireplace and kitchenette. Bedroom is large with a king size bed with plenty of storage and nicely appointed bathroom. You have everything you need, no need to drag things from home. Parking is close to the rooms and user-friendly. The entire suite is immaculate and up-to-date. The best part is the management-Lisa and Deric Hebert are more than awesome. I can go on and on-but book a room and see for yourself.Cozy up inside and throw open those curtains to enjoy the view or better yet get outside, relax, and soak it all up💗

Always a pleasure staying here. Lisa is so very helpful and makes everything super easy. This is the only place we will stay at Surfside. No other place on the island compares. I love that its a small place and everyone around you is always very considerate. I haven’t had a bad experience yet and I’ve stayed here more than a handful of times. Great place for family or just the two of you to relax and enjoy the beach.
