What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Inside was slow to slower. Lots of new people not strategically placed (at register not a good call for rush hour). This added to the 90% of open mouth breathers lined up within two to three feet of each other (less than 10% wearing masks, and none on employees). Yes on the high stars because I got in before the long anti-maskers line and new isn’t a bad thing. It reflects poor management.

The food? Well, the pictures tell all. Although missing some icing that I wasn’t going to lick off the paper for, the donut was decent. The wrap? Ewww the sauce. The breakfast wrap would do well without any sauce, let alone the glob in the center…took that bite and sorry team, I’m not suffering for you and spit it out. The tea was HOT (don’t put between your legs people!!). I found the Apple Cinnamon quite unique and tasty with a tad of sugar.

Oh myy! The inside line is wrapping into the dining area. That’s some addiction when the line is uber long inside.

  2. This location is absolutely massive, and beautiful!! For being as large and as busy as it is it was surprisingly clean. The counter staff was super friendly helping me pick out donuts, and they made my coffee nice and quick. Only complaint was the state of their sidewalks, which were completely incased in snow and ice, making them impossible to use, but that of course is a seasonal issue!

  3. I had my usual coffee in a friendly atmosphere. I have always felt home in Tim Hortons. Good food and good beverages here never failed to make me feel good.

  4. It might be one of the worst Tim Hortons in Canada. It’s very unlikely to get the order on time and in the right way.
Also, it’s very uncomfortable once staff from a specific demographic talk in a language other than English and French loudly about their wrongdoing in my order in front of me!

  5. Timbits for the puppers and the salad bowls are fantastic! Who knew Tim Hortons would be the go-to fast food joint for affordable, healthy meals (and delicious).

Asked for a new bagel as mine was pretty chard. Was told that’s how our toaster makes them. They didn’t want to make me a new one. My partners bagel wasn’t as bad thou. Not coming back.

Just another Tim Hortons where drive thru is real fast but has longer wait times if you dine indoors. The crew seems hardworking than they should. Not overly friendly nor overly rude. I usually visit there to buy a coffee and some sweet snack when I go to the park nearby in evenings. The parking lot is often very congested because it is small.

This review is not a reflection of the employees. I was there on Sunday, March 26th. There were 2 people working while one was on break. 3 people trying to run the drive thru and serve inside customers is simply not enough. These poor kids were doing their best. I don’t know if this is poor management or just a lack of employees. Needs improvement.

Walked in the door to about an inch of water on the floor…stood in line for over 20 mins without being served and left with 2 very unhappy children. When there is an event in the Ex grounds you should have more than ONE staff running the front counter! They should know how to make all the required sandwiches if alone (that was a big issue) Wasn’t even acknowledged in that whole time and because the bathrooms are locked that was also a problem. The supervisor(?) popped out from the back just long enough to look at the line… twice… and run back away. No assistance to the front counter at all and it was very clear he was struggling. We were not the only ones that walked out.

There was a very limited amount of anything to be bought at 6pm..options were limited to 2 flavours of timbit one had nothing on it, not a sprinkle or glaze the other chocolate glazed timbit, 1 lonely muffin, no croissants, 1 tray of donut sprinkles I bought that.

I went last night for dinner and they didn’t have bacon for the sandwich I wanted. I went this morning and waited in line for 15min while they dealt with a gentleman with several gift cards only to have a 2nd register open after the 15min, but it only accepted cash. When I finally got to the main register, I was told they had no homestyle biscuits for their breakfast sandwiches. It’s much easier, reliable and delicious (if more expensive) to go to 1 of the many locally owned cafes downtown. It can also get very busy as it was today. I think main issue is that it’s in a great location, but a small geographical footprint with, I think, no possibility of it expanding. There’s not much room to manoeuvre in or out of the store.

The fact I was there before lunch hour rush and it still took 45 min for me to finally order when there were 3 people in front of me says a lot. It was 30 minutes in they finally had more people suddenly arrive to help out behind the till with making the food and drinks. Terrible service management, but the food was still ok.

Genuinely the worst Tim’s I’ve been too. The food was subpar and the service (specifically the manager) this morning was atrocious. She was yelling at all the poor workers and snapped at me when I asked for my bagel to be cut in half (which is the norm) bc she said it takes an extra few seconds. She was being awful to all the other workers and yelling the whole time. Bad food and worse management this morning.

I’ve been here for the past few days in the drive through and the service was unimaginable. Just rude and rushed. They don’t let finish ordering and rushed to the window and don’t even give me what I want. Today I got an iced coffee and it was full of dirt and leaves. I worked at tim hortons for a year and I know that what they are doing is wrong.

While Tims is always a fun place to hang out, I feel like at this location, there’s always this weird vibe to it. Also, unlike other Tim Hortons, the dining space at this one is often nt cleaned so it doesnt really feel good to eat in such a place. When I last visited, it was 4 30 in the evening and there was still abt 5 hrs before they close but they had almost no bakery items and sandwiches. It was a bit strange like they still have 5 hours of service bt almost no food to offer. Also, I cant seem to redeem my points over there cause the some of the staff members dnt know how to do so. Really disappointing as my points keep expiring and i cant even redeem them 😪 However, I still love Tim’s drinks n food so much!!! Especially their new Caprese sandwich!!! 1 new veg option!!! N so cheap!!!
