I’ve been to the CVS easily 100 times.
Right off the top I’d like to say the problems with the store are almost certainly attributed to greed at the corporate level.
This is a industrywide problem and CVS should do better.
I can say without a doubt that over the last year the conditions inside the store have deteriorated.
I deal with the pharmacy a lot and while they are usually very friendly, it is very often that not only me having issues but other people in the line with me are vocalizing theirs as well. The least of which is for CVS to call you incessantly about prescriptions you need to pick up but then upon arriving, waiting in line, are told “Oh we didn’t fill that yet can you come back in an hour?”
Today I went to pick up a script and the Pharmacist had apparently ghosted the store manager. No call no show. The only reason you do that is if you’re sending a message to management.
Also the store was trashed, like a Dollar Tree. Stuff all over the isles and piled on shelves. Sad these corporations can’t take 2% of the CEO bonus and make their stores nice to be at.
My recent visit to CVS was made exceptional by cashier Jasmin. She went above and beyond by personally walking me to the aisle to find the item I needed and helping me use my coupon effectively, saving me money. Her outstanding customer service truly made my day. Jasmin is amazing!
Here on Business from out of town and my sweethearts not feeling good so I called the nearest CVS I listened to their automated number that says the front door is open till 11:00 although the farm is closed at 9:00 but that’s not a problem cuz I just need some items from the front of the store including some contact lens solution that she didn’t have. It helps if they were open their advertised hours to begin with cuz I sent her for about 10 minutes trying to figure out a backup plan at least a dozen cars if not more came and pulled up with anger people knocking on the door at 10:05 when they’re open till 11:00. No explanation no note no anything worst experience with CVS ever complete management failure will never stop them again and moving my prescriptions ASAP. They truly just don’t care for their customers any longer. A reasonable manner should have been here to keep the store open I don’t care if they don’t have enough employees change your outgoing message and put a sign in the door apologizing can I see you again
The doctor was super discriminative, unfair, and unprofessional. We scheduled an appointment at the CVS clinics, waited 1h+, and the doctor canceled our appointment right in front of us, simply because the staff doesn’t like us. The other people in the store expressed their support but could help with nothing. This doctor/nurse, she doesn’t care about anything other than her own feelings. We demand that the store fire this doctor/nurse for her ruthless actions.
The pharmacy is so sloppy concerning picking up prescriptions. The doctor can tell the pharmacists to fill a prescription and have me pick it up on a certain day, yet the pharmacists won’t sell it by lying to me claiming that I arrived too early, or that they never got a call to fill a prescription.
One of the pharmacists, who was an older Asian woman with short dark hair, also gave me a hard time by not giving me the prescription unless I told her the explicit names, which I could not remember. They never did that before, and it was clear that woman was just wasting my time. That’s just sick how she would behave in a petty way like that.
There was even one time when I encountered an angry pharmacist with this obnoxious nerd tone and she sent me to another CVS pharmacy that also didn’t have the medication I needed.
I know that they’re short-staffed and overworked, but that’s no excuse for such sloppy treatment towards me when all I want are the medications my dad needs.
The management and employees are an embarrassment and the upper management should be ashamed of themselves for forcing this disgraceful behavior to thrive in these pharmacies.
