What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. The good guys are seriously good! They are super thorough and take the time to give you a great deal- they will beat any store. Glad I refunded my Harvey Norman purchase and re-bought it here for $500 cheaper. Great customer service with Huy. Won’t be shopping anywhere else for appliances from now on.

  2. They should consider changing their company name because they are not Good Guys at all!

I had a problem with a refrigerator I bought from the Auburn store. I contacted them via e-mail since November but they’ve only replied once and never responded ever again despite my few follow-up e-mails. I also tried calling the store but these people just never pick up calls. I don’t know how they can keep their business running with this kind of poor customer service.

Anyway, I contacted the manufacturer directly and they said they just need to have the invoice number to book a service. Unfortunately, I misplaced the copy of my invoice so I tried calling the store again, but predictably they don’t answer my calls.

I advise anyone to stay away from this useless store.

  3. I ordered an item online from another store and did not arrive on time, so I decided to order a replacement from the Good Guys Auburn. Unfortunately when I went to pick it up it couldn’t be found. Sounds bad doesn’t it? Well, I was served by Marissa and despite of being extremely busy, she did everything she could to help me out and with a smile on her face. Even during such a busy time of the year, she took the time to listen to me and offered alternatives. Eventually she provided a solution I was very happy with. It is all about customer service, and she’s very good at it.
Congrats to the Good Guys for employing such a wonderful person.
Thanks Marissa! you provided a solution to my “plan B”

  4. It was the worst delivery experience I had ever had. I purchased a TV and on the next day I changed the model. Since the previous order was cancelled, it was not delivered to me. For the new order, when the delivery driver came he did not want to delivery since he was asking me the previous tv, it was shown being delivered to me in the the system. I called the store and sales person Jhara advised to give me a call to provide an update but did not give any. I called back again and then I was told it was the driver who does not understand the instruction and when asked about the callback she said it is not her duty, rather admin duty.

  5. Would like to thank Lucinda for helping me with the purchase of a fridge last month. Very happy with my experience and her help. This is not the first time I’ve dealt with Lucinda. In October 2023, I purchased a dishwasher, she was again very helpful in assisting her colleague with my purchase as there were a few system issues. She is very knowledgeable and helpful not just towards customers but also her peers. Hope the management sees this and acknowledges her efforts 👍🏻
