Although acting as a separate entity, Banfield Pet Hospital is located inside the store. Soon, they will be filling the dog training position, while pet grooming is ongoing. I have taken one of my dogs to the Pet Hospital and purchase food at their store. PetSmart supports programs to provide pet food to families with economic issues. They also support making veterinary care available to families having trouble affording it. PetSmart also supports pet adoption programs, as well as having pets in their stores for adoption.By Alan Hennessy (10 months ago)I would give them zero stars if I could. I asked for large crickets for my 2ft bearded dragon and just because one of the employees mixed all the crickets together doesn’t mean mix the crickets they sell to the customers. So instead I got the smallest crickets which my lizard won’t even eat. And their superworms as well as their horn worms are all dead and they refuse to exchange or refund the money. Worst place to go for anything. - Reviews:My dog Nova came in and was diagnosed with Pyometra and had to have emergency surgery. We drove all the way from Napa & the humane society got us in immediately when all my local vets could not. All the staff from the front desk to the animal technician and the vet were extremely kind, caring and just overall amazing. They made the process stress free and made me feel so comfortable leaving my “baby” with them! I cannot rave about them enough, if your dog is needing help reach out – they care! Low expenses for neutering and medical needs for pets. I hope to see more people adopt animals than buy them from the stores or breaders.By Minoo Hosseini (3 months ago)The people that work here are unbelievably sweet they have the biggest hearts and really really care about the animals that come there. My daughter just had a baby and her dog had cancer what should have caused us thousands only cost $300. Also only got the dog back and it’s not stressed was very happy you could tell he was well taken care of. Months later he had other tumors that popped up and no surgery could help him finally things got bad and we had to put him down and instead of putting him down in the doctor’s office they took us out to the front grass in a nice place where we could lay with him I say administered the shot. This made a very unpleasant ordeal a little bit better. We had a private cremation for him and the box that he came back in was very beautiful with a nice lap brass plaque with his name on it. I don’t know what more I could say about the people here but they are all angels with very big hearts and I am so glad they were able to touch all their lives the way they did. I am so disappointed in the quality of care I saw. I’m a Petco regular and like to visit them wherever I go. Every area in this store that had live pets was unfortunate. Enclosures were very dirty , cages lacked fresh water, and some animals had injuries/signs of neglect. I’ve been to this location a year ago and it was fine. What happened?
I really enjoy shopping at this Petco location. The shelves are always well stocked, the staff are very patient and helpful, also this Petco store is less scattered and kept clean. Their selection of live animals are also a little different, more exotic like chinchilla, and the Jackson chameleon.
Best place to buy betas. They take good care of them. Good variety of bearded dragon supplies and dog toys.
Very nice and helpful people. Large with lots of products to choose from. Also nice to be able to bring pets in the store with you.
I needed a specific ear wash for my dog and knew petco sold it. I called to make sure it was in stock. The young voice that answered said, It should be on the shelf. ” I asked again, the voice repeated itself. I took time out of an extremely busy day to get this product to reduce the itchy Red ears of my pup…However, Petco did not have it in stock so I made the trip for nothing and my dog had to wait another uncomfortable day for it to arrive through the mail.
I’ll probably never go to Petco again.
