Especially Rahjanee – I had soleil cut short for the warmer months and was nervous about how she would look but she looks so adorable and rahjanee left me such a nice note. They are also very welcoming of new friends, while we were there, 2 dogs and 1 cat had been brought out of the streets to be cared for. My husband and I found a small kitten in the middle of an extremely busy street. Being unable to keep it ourselves, we brought it here. I took a cat I found here. I told them if they want to euthanize him tell me first and I’ll adopt him and take him somewhere for a second opinion. They told me he had mouth cancer and was not spayed, and needed to be put down from the “tumor” in his mouth, as he would not live long. I took him home and to the vet the next day, he is completely spayed and it was actually just gingivitis, treatable with $25 pill for just one week! He is still alive and doing well. I regret taking the dog I found here because I found out they put him down despite having no life threatening issues whatsoever. Do not take found pets here!!!! Probably a great place to adopt animals from as they have many, but should be the absolute last option for found pets.
I was blown away by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They truly care about helping the animals adopted get well. There was no time restraints! The vet and her staff spent so much time answering my questions and thoroughly went through the process of treatment. I commend everyone who is there and thank you for helping my anxiety for my fur babies to go through this procedure.
We volunteered here for our local chapter seminar! Was so much fun walking the dogs, playing with the cats, and separating news paper!
Today I had a clinic appointment for my newly adopted dog everyone was very nice explained all the information to me clearly even though I don’t think I remember everything everything it. was a happy visit for us
In March I adopted a 3 year old cat. She is wonderful! When I sat down I said “Do you want to sit on my lap?” she did, and 45 minutes later we left together. She was so well taken care of by this great organization! See them If you want to adopt a pet.
