  2. Miguel spent the afternoon diagnosing, and rewiring our AC unit that had been icing up. He replaced our thermostat, and stayed into the evening to make sure the job was complete, and all was working correctly. He was very friendly, and took the time to explain things. We appreciate Express Plumbing, Heating, and Air very much!

  3. Express has three different types of scheduling and I chose the on-call option (which includes a free service call!). For this option, you must be available within 30 minutes any time between 8-5. My technician (Todd M.) showed up within 2 hours of the scheduling and the 30 minute notification text had his picture and credentials and he also called. Very professional. My technician found no leaks and wrote a detailed notation on the invoice which I was able to relay to the home inspector expediently. I received A+++ service from Todd and Express Plumbing and would not hesitate to call them for any plumbing needs. Highly recommended!

They replaced some piping behind my wall and faucets for a leak, a water line capped off under the house that was a previous addition from the old owner and a broken stopper on a facet cold control replaced. The new work was not centered and the old seal was not removed which they did come out to fix. They also convinced me I needed a new water heater because mine was 9 years old and there was oxidization around the connectors at the top. I didn’t get shown a cost breakdown, and agreed to pay a bit over 3k for the plumbing and over 3k for the water heater. Total cost was over 7k. I was upset because I know that one if the pieces they charged 400$ to replace was 20$ max (the broken stopper in the turning valve). I had another plumber out for another issue and discovered I could have had the work done for around 1/3 the cost including the same water heater. Express did come out and clean up the job and try to make it right but they took advantage of a mother of 3 with a husband that travels for work. My fault for not getting multiple quotes or an itemized bill. Their system was down and they couldn’t provide one so I only got to sign the contract. Only reason they get 3 stars is because the guy doing the work was courteous and apologetic for it not getting it done right the 1st time and he tried to make it right. I feel abused due to the cost of this project. I could have paid less then 4k.

  5. Me again! Since my last review, I’d had the team in for more involved services due to my positive experience with Gabriel. This included some new toilets, sink, and water heater. I just wanted to update my shout-out to include Don and Isaiah as well, all three were not only efficient but fun to chat with and went above and beyond when a location did not have the sink I had wanted. It’s been a good few days and everything is working wonderfully.

    Had a really great experience with the guys at Wickstorm! Back around Christmas we opened our water bill and it was double what it usually is. Called the city and they said you probably have a broken pipe in your yard to the house. Our landlord called Wickstorm and scheduled a leak detect. Chance showed up to do the leak detect and was super awesome and professional! Made sure to test everything and make sure nothing in the house is leaking. Turns out the toilets do have a small leak but Chance was great to clean up the water. The larger problem is the pipe in the yard, Couple days later Kody & Max show up with the Excavator! Kody was so chill about my girls watching him dig in the yard. He went out of his way to show me how to shut the main water line valve off. The job was quick and Kody made sure I got the right photos Incase this ever happens again. Seriously can’t speak highly enough! My only complaint was that the scheduler messed up pretty bad and said someone was going to show up and they didn’t. My husband took vacation to make sure he was home. We weren’t too happy when no one showed. Thanks Kody, Chance and Max for a job well done! Thank you for also considering our neighbors! You guys are so amazing!

    On the advice of my son, I called Wickstrom Plumbing to do the work of switching from a septic system to city sewer. Max walked me through the scope of the work, clearly explaining the process and patiently answering all my questions. He figured out the most cost-effective route for the pipe and made an extra effort to schedule me for the next work day. He and Kody did an excellent job of removing sod before digging the trench and assured me they would make the yard look as good as new when they were done. Max and Kody did the bulk of the work with occasional help from Chance and Ferris. All the workers were friendly and polite and, most importantly, trustworthy. I have already recommended Wickstrom to several friends. Max and Kody went above and beyond. They replaced the sod, taking care to tamp it down so it was level with the rest of the grass. Part of the trench went through a gravel driveway and they replaced the old gravel with new. It looks better than it did before. They even removed an old tree stump in the gravel area. I recommend signing up for Wickstrom’s Maintenance Plan. It offers great benefits along with good discounts for repairs and installations.

    We recently bought a new house and shortly after moving in, the furnace stopped blowing warm air. The previous owners had been using Wickstrom, so we called to keep the same company involved with the servicing and repairs. So glad we did! Stewart and Ben did an amazing job of quickly diagnosing the issue, locating a replacement part, going to pick up the part, and had us back in warmth in no time! The response time was awesome, everything was well coordinated, and service was above expectations.     Yesterday morning, 12/20/22, I turned on the shower & went to pour a cup of coffee while waiting for hot water to reach the master bath. I was shocked to discover ice water!! Called Wickstrom Plumbing immediately and the technician responded on time. Carson was very professional and quickly determined the problem. He made the repairs in approx 3 hrs including testing to be sure all was well. That night, I ran water in the kitchen and discovered slow flow at the sink so I called to leave a message requesting a recheck today, 12/21/22. Carson contacted me midday when I got off work and he promptly determined the problem which was silt & debris that had flowed through the lines which is a common occurrence for the type of repairs he had to make. Clearing the faucet & filter took only a few minutes and all was well. I appreciate Carson’s dedication to his customers, his skill and prompt response. I have used Wickstrom Plumbing several times.     Jens made it to the house in a fast time. Took only a little time to see what the problem was. Gave us some options on cost and went straight to work. He had a battle with the pressure tank but he won and now everything is top top. Very professional and polite. Explained the finances and everything he was doing. He was super nice to my daughter.     We are selling our house and the potential buyers wanted us to do a basic tune up and complete inspection of our HVAC system. We received a flyer from this company offering a promotion for inspection and maintenance. When my husband made the appointment we were given an estimate that was twice the price from their flyer and when we questioned that we were given a lesser price. We then got the inspection and maintenance. One of the items was given a red mark – blower cleaning was recommended. When we asked them how much would that cleaning cost, we were told $400. So we looked elsewhere and got someone else to clean it for us since we were already suspicious of the company to begin with. When another company came by and opened our system up, the blower fan ONLY HAD SOME LIGHT DUST!!!!! He cleaned it up for us anyway and have pictures before and after. And we were only charged quarter of this company’s estimate. Very shady. Beware. It may just be a one off instance but you’d appreciate this warning anyway.

    This is the second time we have use them now and we are very impressed both times. They came promptly as soon as we asked right around the time. They walk my husband through everything they were doing so that way he can do it on his own next time before we call for a service call. They took their time here never made us feel like we had to buy anything and stuck to their pricing exactly as they said over the phone. Even on the phone they told me that I could use a coupon while they were here and honored it without even showing it to them. This is what your business is about very impressed with all their services and will always recommend them to anybody that asked me where we go for heating and air.

    Kenny was very professional, and explained things well to include photos and detailed explanations. My husband is a self taught mechanic who knew and planned to put in a new water heater himself if it came down to needing one. Kenny could have tried to talk us out of doing it ourselves or even pressured us into thinking we couldn’t do it but this did not happen. He instead encouraged us to do regular maintenance (which we had been meaning to do) and explained some of those benefits. He is now coming out next week to look at our heating system and see how everything went with the installation and whether or not he could help us further. I’m rarely impressed with customer service these days and I gotta say I was very pleased with his service. We will be recommending you!
