What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Amazing sushi, both traditional & specialty rolls available. Prices are good and won’t break the bank.
Great place to go to for lunch and a few beers after a long week!

  2. Finally got to try this place and it didn’t disappoint at all. Customer service was excellent and the server gave us a good recommendation based on what he liked and not the price.

Finally, the rolls were amazing! Full of flavor and if you like spicy, you have to try rolls with spicy mayo!!

  3. Came here for lunch, since I work in Georgetown and don’t live here. From the reviews, the food looks VERY attractive & tasty. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Miso Soup, Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Tuna Roll & Spicy Salmon Roll. I wanted to taste the Miso since I’ve never had a bowl of it. It was not my taste. I prefer Ramen, Wonton and Hot & Sour soups. The Shrimp Tempura was excellent and the dipping sauce was great! It had deep fried broccoli, mushroom, zucchini, sweet potato and onion ring. The broccoli, mushroom & shrimp were the bomb! Next, they brought out the Spicy Tuna and Spicy Salmon Rolls. They were AWESOME! Their soy sauce was very high quality so I had to be careful because it would overpower when I dipped the roll too much. I very much enjoyed every bite. Well balanced flavors. Spicy-ness was great way to describe it. It wasn’t a quick heat but more of a SLOW BURN. So tasty and welcoming. If you like spice, you won’t be disappointed. The service was on point and the staff was very courteous. Prices for lunch were VERY reasonable. I will come back for lunch when I’m working. As far as sushi places goes, this place is among my top 5. I’ve been to Beluga (closed), Sushi Koen and Sushi Ni Ni in Round Rock. All excellent places and recommend them to any Sushi lover.

  4. The sushi and soup were *fantastic*, we had a hard time choosing which creative sushi to try because so many sounded good and unique! The presentation was beautiful too 👌 The service was prompt, helpful in what we should choose and very friendly. Definitely recommend and coming back.

  5. Stopped for a quick lunch, everything was wonderful until my baby needed a diaper change. They didn’t have a change station or any kind of accessible area. Sitting on the toilet to change my baby on my lap is never something I should have to do in a family restaurant. Unfortunately I won’t be returning.

Terrible. Ordered shrimp tempura roll, egg roll and fried rice. The shrimp was soggy! There was no crisp and it was full of celery. I’m a rice nut. I will eat it plain. This I could not even eat. Tasted like microwaved sushi rice. How can you F:^k up fried rice?! The only thing edible was the egg roll and they probably received them frozen. I’ve had sushi from Tokyo to NY and my expectations were not high but this was awful. If I didn’t leave town I would have surely returned it.

My wife and I dined here recently for dinner. The waiter was very friendly, polite, and efficient. My wife ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box. The chicken was ok, as was the fried rice. The egg rolls were soft and mushy probably due to their small size. They would have been better had they been larger in size. The Crab Puffs had no crab, only cream cheese. Her Hot and Sour Soup was very spicy hot so much that she was unable to finish it. I had the General Tsao’s Chicken Bento Box. The chicken was ok. Our salads were not too good; my wife complained that the lettuce pieces were very large to eat and the dressing was rather tasteless. I had the Egg Drop Soup which I added salt to improve its flavor. Overall we were not pleased with our orders. We will give it another try by ordering different items next trip.

This is it. This is that ONE place when you feel like eating Japanese ramen or sushi or vegetable tempura, THIS is THE PLACE. This is the place you’ll say “I could go for some Japanese….OH let’s go to Kyoto!!!” This is definitely that place for me. Love love love. Ambience is welcoming and comfortable and a feast for the eyes. The customer service was excellent. Every staff member I came in contact with were respectful and kind and competent. Everything was made to order, made with fresh ingredients and was made from scratch down to the dipping sauces and the salad dressing. By far my FAVORITE place to get vegetable tempura. Light airy crispy delicious goodness. It is tasty on its own, and for an enhanced flavor lightly dip in the ponzu sauce. Don’t let me start on the ramen….oh my goodness. I was not in the mood for ramen and was kinda trying to persuade my friend to go to a taco place instead, lol. Glad I gave in. The noodles are freshly made and the broth was light with salty barbecue pork, fresh scallions, narutomaki (fish cake) and bamboo shoots. The flavors created the perfect ramen sensation. We also ordered the rainbow sushi and requested it be made spicy. It was a great choice. The flavor was simplistic and really enjoyable. The fish, although raw, was not pungent. I can’t say enough good things.

Can’t wait to go back and eat at the sushi bar! It was everything you would expect in a good restaurant. Excellent, friendly service and delicious food.

Came for lunch after a soccer game and this place was a hit for us. Started off with their onion soup, some of the best broth I have ever had. And the sesame chicken appetizer, which was ok….nothing to brag about. The dragon roll and sashimi bento box were totally on point. The flavor was awesome and very fresh. Great place to stop by if your near.

Very nice service with excellent food. We ordered the sushi lovers boat. Everything on it was very fresh and delicious. I especially liked the white tuna pieces. All of the rolls were very good, too. I would definitely suggest trying them.

Surprisingly good for the modest appearance and location! Strongly recommend the salt and pepper shrimp! The quality of the fish is very good for a local sushi restaurant.

Little hole in the wall but BIG flavors. Don’t miss trying the Dragon Ball appetizer. It was really dynamic. If we hadn’t been so full we’d have ordered another. They have a kids menu with chicken nuggets making it the perfect place for adults to enjoy really good sushi and not be left without choices for the kids.

Great little Japanese restaurant. Wonderful sushi. During the week, great prices on lunch specials and Bento boxes. I especially like their Fried Shrimp Tempura rolls and Philadelphia Rolls.
