What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Our welcome to the store was a huge pile of trash. Then we walked in the next set of doors, and the security guard was on his phone, not paying attention to anything. Even at checkout, the cashiers were complaining about different things. The only good thing (the reason for 2 stars) was the guy at the camera counter. He was very helpful and friendly.

  2. Best Buy Geek Squad failed me today. This location told me to bring my unit in and they would help me determine what replacement part I need for my pc power supply. When I hauled the unit over they told me they couldn’t see me without an appointment. Uh, they failed to mention that the first time. So them their available appointment times didn’t work for my schedule and so I asked the guy if he could just help me determine where I could buy the part if i found the specs myself. He flatly said “I’m not a sales guy so I don’t know”. These were my first experiences with the geek squad and I’m terribly disappointed. I bought the unit from Best Buy and they couldn’t help me without a hassle.

  3. Best part about this place is the employees that are willing to listen and answer any questions you may have. One of the cashier’s , however, he was awfully rude. I wish I would have gotten his name. Not enough to ruin the trip to Best Buy though. Got what I wanted and walked out paying less than I planned for something better than I was originally going in for. (Wireless headphones)

  4. I try to buy local, but after buying a $2,000 laptop here, but when I did, the sales clerk suggested “Total Tech” instead of a warranty since “Total tech” gives a free 2 year warranty. Sounds good, right? Wrong. The warranty ends when Total tech ends, so a warranty on it is basically $400 with Total tech instead of $250 stand alone. I was just about to buy a $1,299 car amp, but I noticed the ad and realized I’d been scammed. I’ll buy it elsewhere.

  5. You people have gotta find a more efficient way to do curbside pickups. It should be faster. I should not have to wait 3 hours, cancel the order, and go inside the store myself and get the ONE item I ordered. FOH

The service and great deals we got there we’re phenomenal. Jaylen is the one that helped us and I can’t say enough about him. He proved to be very knowledgeable and looked for our best interest. Thank you Best Buy for having such an incredible employee at your store.

For such a busy place you would think they would hire more people to service their customers. They don’t take direct calls you have to go through some call center in another state there is always a line and the support team whether you go in to buy a product or use Geek Squad you are going to have to wait till you make an appointment and if you are a walk-in good luck it’s not going to happen. That’s what happens with these huge chain of retail stores. Best Buy is not a place that cares about their customers.

    Bad experience with customer service.
Escalated situation with manager and there was no effort on his end to find a solution to my problem.

The story is, I order a TV that included a Free echo dot as a promotion.
The order was delayed by Best Buy for a week later than it was supposed to be.
Unfortunately I was on a business trip so I couldn’t pick up the order. The order got cancelled. I called customer support to help with the situation they re-did the order, but they said to go to the store to get the Free echo dot because they couldn’t do it on the system.
So of course I went to pick up the TV and ask them for the Free echo that I was supposed to receive in the first order. The guy who helped said he couldn’t do anything. He called his manager, and the manager said he couldn’t do anything and his answer was just to go and call customer help. Very cold and uncaring attitude to be honest.

So much for customer service at the store.
After no resolution, I ended up leaving the store with only the TV and with no Free echo as advertised.

I have called my credit card and I am disputing this charge, for false advertising.

Don’t recommend you dealing with the staff or manager there, since all they will do is waste your time and say: “nothing I can do, sorry. Go and call the customer support number.”

Best buy is not the same it was a few years back. I’m confused at the moment with the membership points and rewards.
Most items purchased on the app or website are not available for curb pickup.
Also, I purchased geek squad and I really like it. My appliances would be fixed by best buy employees. Now it’s third party companies. I don’t appreciate them coming to my house. Last company made me feel like I had no idea what he was talking about. He was also rude and I will make sure to have shoe covers, his boots left my floor in the kitchen black.

No customer service. Stood around the home audio section for a long time. Had several questions regarding speakers and music players, no one came to help. The only worker there didn’t seem to pay attention to me at all and acted busy for a long time after I approached him for help. No greeting when I arrived, and not even a “Thank you” or “come again” while I was heading out. This isn’t the only time too. It’s been like pulling teeth each time I’ve come to buy something. Once was a laptop, another was a camera. This was my last try, I’m done with this place.

Best Buy has changed a lot after the pandemic, it’s kind of random to get the help you need. But this store has a few very knowledgeable employees and I have been fortunate to run into them when I needed information on purchases. Overall a clean and friendly atmosphere. Not stocked well. Orders are shipped in a fast reasonable time.

I have purchased at this Best Buy on multiple occasions. Today I bought a replacement washer machine. The price happened to be on sale, but better than that…the staff was both helpful and welcoming…

I believe it was the manager of the appliance section who stopped to answer questions and helped me clarify some points…she was excellent of demeanor and helpfulness. I truly appreciated her taking the extra time to answer all my questions with a genuine smile on her face!

Next was the young man that checked me out (Dale maybe??). He was also kind and helpful, though he really tried to push me on the $199 geek squad protection lol. However, the experience was quite good and sets a high bar…

…I wish I had bought my dryer from them as well; especially with a 5 yr warranty where I can not worry about it at all…

This is basically my reading for ALL Best Buys. Specifically in regards to the computer and tablets department. Rather than tailoring their customer service and recommendations to the customer’s needs, they go based off whatever the corporate company is forcing them to pay regardless of whether or actually suits their needs and pushing for product that may not work for them. This comes from both personal experience and experiences I’ve heard from others as well. I’ve had positive experiences with their Geek Squad and front end cashier teams but not good enough to override the experience from the sales team.

I really like how best buy has adapted as a corporation they found a way to stay relevant. This location in particular has helpful knowledgeable employees in an Era where customer service is terrible everywhere. Josh helped me navigate some decisions making for a positive experience. I am going to be coming back regularly.

While I have never been to this store in person, I did end up calling here as this was the location my Xbox controller was being picked up by someone (they worked for Roadie which is an awful company by the way) and shipped to my house. Well, the controller was stolen from me by this person bringing it to me.

I called this store to tell them that my controller was stolen by the person working for Roadie. A wonderful lady answered (I sadly didn’t catch her name) and helped me as much as possible. She tracked down my package to see if it was still being shipped or if it was actually ready. It did apparently arrive at my house but the person never rang the doorbell or knocked. Well, she told me that she could either ship a new controller to my house right that second WITH someone trustworthy or I could pick it up from a closer store. I did end up picking it up from a closer store to my house but she did say that the company will file a report, tell Roadie what happened, and give me a new controller without having to pay again. Even if I chose to ship it to my house, the company would have paid all fees to ship it to me.

    Wonderful experience all around!
