  1. Took my schnauzer/ poodle mix today to have her completely shaved down like a short coated dog. We do this twice a year and shes touchy about her feet but it usually looks pretty good when I get her back.. I specifically said “no beard / mustache/ eyebrows to be left at all” to cut it all off! I get her back after paying because they don’t bring them out till after you pay. Not only had her head and ears not been touched , her feet / nails look like Clydesdales. ALL and I mean ALL the hair is still there. Legs are totally shaggy, not shave at all. The only thing shaved is her back! The girl who did it was friendly but said she didn’t have much experience and I should use a different person.( would have liked to have know that before I left her there!!) What the hell, I could have done that at home. I paid $50 dollars for a bath and a back shave.

  2. Outstanding job by Hannah cruz at PetSmart on Harbison Blvd. had our dog looking like a million dollar dog and smelling outstanding!
Go check her out if y’all need your pets groomed!

  3. 1-1-23 new year new cats that’s what I say…I went here to get stuff for the aforementioned new cats and the woman checking me out (short grey hair 50’s) was an absolute delight. She was able to sign me up for their store loyalty program SEAMLESSLY and FLAWLESSLY helped me get flea medication and I was even the worst and had to pay with two cards because I went a tad over budget ($90) but she handled everything expeditiously and answered questions I had…amazing experience perfect customer service interaction even with me buying way too much stuff for these new cats she’s the real MVP 10/10 would recommend

  4. The line gets a little long sometimes but I mean honestly they probably only have like two or three people working at any given time so not entirely their fault. The store is clean and the employees are nice

  5. Well stocked with knowledgeable employees. Fair prices. I brought in a stray kitten and they gave me food and treats for her.

I adore Pawmetto. This group does so much for animals and the public. I foster as much as possible and you wouldn’t believe the amount of work it takes behind the scenes just to get an animal ready for foster! This group works! Front desk is always welcoming when I come in. Most of the time they know the animal I’m returning, which just shows how much they care. It seems there is a constant eye and ear out for any animal in need. If you can’t foster or adopt, donate! Call, ask what’s needed, I’m sure funds are always appreciated. I’m proud to be a part of such a hardworking group. These guys love their animals are SUPER appreciative of any help. It’s not easy fostering, but the guys and gals in this building really put it all together and get help in motion for these sweet animals.

Extremely friendly service and fair pricing. Wait time is booked out a month or 2 in advanced for spay and neuter however I kinda expect that with how the prices are. Overall I really don’t have too many complaint about my experience there, would definitely recommend if you need a spay or neuter for well under 150$. Had my little Shadow fixed there, pictured bottom, and he recovered just fine within about a week or so.

This organization is amazing! The work that they do helps the community in so many ways. Sam was the absolute best, she evaluated my kittens for adoption and I can tell she really cared! She was so friendly and has such a warm and inviting personality. Everyone who I met was caring and friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you, for all the work y’all do.

A few months ago my husband and I went to Pawmetto to see about adopting our next furbaby. It was a Saturday and they were very busy so we patiently waited for our turn to speak with someone in the adoption crew. Tia finally came over to us and asked what we were looking for in our dog. We explained that we wanted a senior, someone who could live out their golden years with us and she informed us that the only dogs they had on site were puppies and she would have to reach out to the fosters and set up some meet and greets for us that coming weekend. Totally fine, we understood and gave her our contact information and left. Hadn’t heard from her so I reached out on Wednesday and she read my text but never responded. Maybe she was busy or it was her day off so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and reached out again Friday (since we were supposed to be meeting dogs that Saturday) and once again she read my text but didn’t respond. I never heard from her again. My husband and I were also volunteers at Pawmetto. Shelters are killing dozens of dogs per week and Tia couldn’t be bothered to reach out to us to let us adopt one. It’s extremely sad for the dogs. And if for some reason we weren’t a good fit for any of the dogs they could have simply let us know. After this whole situation we decided to check out Final Victory and they were absolutely wonderful, if you’re looking to adopt check them out instead.

Had a fantastic experience. Good adoption prices and knowledgeable people. I would just schedule an appointment to go in and look if you are looking for a pet. We went in and got to play with the cats and really get a feel for their personalities. We ended up bringing home a sweet and cuddly cat.

Their service was excellent! From the time I call to ask about pricing and scheduling the neutering service. Their prices were the most affordable of the area, they provided guidance on every step of the process through emails and reminders. When I dropped my dog they were very very helpful, asked a lot of questions and put me at ease. They provided everything that was needed for the aftercare and even additional tips! I strongly recommend them!

They provide low cost spay/neuter, low cost vaccines, low cost flea, tick and heartworm meds and microchipping not to mention the staff here is phenomenal. If you’re on a budget, like most of us are, this is the place for some of your pet’s basic medical needs. What’s not to love.

My first time going there. I found a dog yesterday (without a collar), and wanted them to check if she had a chip, and asked if they could do an exam. They said that unfortunately they did not do exams there. Even more unfortunate, no chip was found!!

I had my dog spayed ant the main clinic in Columbia and I was very happy with registration , communication and professionalism of entire staff . She had the same , if not better , care than she gets at our vet and at 1/5 th of the cost .
