- Reviews:Fantastic! I had the Beef Rendang and it was absolutely delicious. There is more than enough food to fill you up and it flavourful, spicy. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked great. I arrived at 3 pm just as they opened and I was the first one seated and to order. This place filled-up quickly. I held back one star because somehow they lost my order and I wasn’t served my meal for 40 minutes. The waitstaff was pleasant; however, this day they did not appear to pay attention as several tables attempted to flag them down repeatedly. I will visit again as the food was that good. I am hoping that it was an off-day for the waitstaff.By pse (3 months ago)Food 10/10 While I find Malaysian cuisine rather boring this place made it is good as anyone – they also serve delicious food from other parts of Asia. Drinks 10/10 Solid, ice teas and sodas. Service 9/10 They are very good but because they are so busy it can get a little frantic. Location & Atmosphere 10/10 Perfect location and a fun place. Their sharing portions are a great size for friends and family to enjoy a bit of everything together. We highly appreciated the wonderful service we received from Avril the waitress. Nasi briyani with chicken was RM9 alone. Plenty of space right in front of the shop to park your car. Long tables with many seats available, suitable for big groups to dine in. it serves food by plate. people can come order drink first then take the food at the counter. the food was nice but the price is shocking 🤣
Good choices and varieties of local Malay food to choose from.. however I had my meal at 2.30pm the dishes were served cold they did not make an effort to warm it or reheat the food esp those with gravy like asam pedas and gulai lemak. It was a turn off when the rice was warm too so I will stay with my regulars near Seri Costa Hotel.. they warm up the dishes when cold and that I like .. anyway this place is not really my choice cos I was accommodating my friend choice at that time ..
My family and I came here during the weekend. Quite a long queue but still able to find a seat.
The dishes are delicious. The main problem is the rice is hard and dry. I believe they cooked the rice not long enough or not enough water. It’s very tough to enjoy our food if the main component is almost non-edible.
The service was alright. It’s a self-service restaurant. The atmosphere is also alright. There are just too many people inside this small space.
Overall, for me, it’s not worth it to come here. The price is too expensive for the Asam Pedas dishes. There is another place that can serve a better Asam Pedas menu with an affordable and reasonable price.
So, this is probably the first and last time I will come to this restaurant.
Wide variety of food choices, bare in mind some are very spicy. You can just pick up a tray, select your food on the serving area and bring it to your table. Rice will be served on the table and order your drink via online (scan QR code).
My first impression of this restaurant was not that good because, when I arrived, there were way too many people and the parking lots were hard to get. We had to go around several times before getting one.
When we stepped into the restaurant, the place was packed with people and there was a long queue. We had to wait for other customers to finish eating while half of us start eating.
But the food were not disappointing. The asam pedas, daging goreng, sotong sambal and daging masak lemak cili api were the best. I just wish all the dishes were still hot. However, it was understandable since it was buffet style.
The staff were helpful and the ordering process was quite smooth except for the app to order drink (too slow!)
Overall, it was a good lunch.
