What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. This kroger is awful! I dread having to go to this store. They always have spoiled food and produce, see picture. 10:20am there is only one self-checkout with two cashiers attending it. The lines are backup with much of their elderly customers waiting in line (every morning). This store is cluttered and messy. Just before 8pm, they always close all doors except for one. I asked about it and they say it’s for safety reasons. This area has million dollar plus homes..
pretty safe area. I can’t wait until HEB opens across the street.

  3. Stars for cleanliness, availability of items shopped for price accuracy. As a preferred Kroger customer I frequent Kroger stores every Wednesday – their weekly sale day. While running errands I chose this location to use a rebate card Ive been rewarded. This rebate card could be loaded to my Apple wallet and used as a NFC purchase. Prior to Kroger this card was able to be used at Nektar and Target. With Kroger I spent about $40 on particular items in each category rewarded exclusively to review. First, the cashier bumped into me, she took responsibility so I won’t complain. My issue with her and possibly the male manager on duty around 2:30p is: I had trouble with my purchase completing through this reward program; the female cashier was patient with allowing me to bring my purchase to her register after having problems with the kiosk. She also gave me time to contact the card issuer. I set a PIN for the card as recommended by the card issuer to possibly resolve the issue. This did not help. When the transaction failed for the final time before moving on with my day, the cashier said “ What? You don’t have any money?” I ignored her the first time but she was too simple to realize her mistake the first lack of respect, cough and customer service for a second and third time. I was already frustrated with this transaction so I decided I would try again when I had more time. A male manager immediately walked up as I was leaving .With a “sassy” attitude he asked her if he should take the items away. If I had the time, this could have not ended well. Sir/Ma’am money wasn’t the issue – I live in Prosper in a gated community. Don’t ever assume what or why a person is shopping and or what they can afford. I could really be a administrative problem for this entire store if I was spiteful. Your next customer may not be so gracious. Kroger, my customer status and how much my family spend weekly can be easily be verified. Between food and gas I earn every reward won. However, I can delete your app and take my business to H‑E‑B Frisco as I wait for your competitor to open across the street. I have been a customer since 1990. I’m loyal but H‑E‑B has floral products far beyond hanging flowers that has enticed me away from Lowe’s. Due to your presumptuous and rude employee – H‑E‑B May just be getting my Kroger grocery business as well. Check your cameras to address all persons involved. Time stamp provided.

  4. The self checkout always has a long line to the back of the store. They literally have 3 out of the 20 self checkout registers open. It makes no sense to upgrade the store for efficiency if you’re not going to utilize it. Such an awful customer experience to wait in a long line with 2 items in hand.

  5. Never enough checkers. When you do your own checkout, prices don’t ting correctly then machines have no cash and you have to stand and wait over 15 min for someone to give your cash to you. Meanwhile your refrigerated items are spoiling.

If 0 stars was an option, that’s what I would give for my experience this morning. As I was checking out with my two small children, basket filled to the brim. There were a couple of items that I saw on sale but weren’t ringing up for that price, instead of one of the three associates there offering to go check on my behalf I was given dirty looks and a response of no there $$$ how ever much not the sale price… I guess I’ll go back there and take a picture. The picture and the sign says 5.99 for ground beef, right under the sign is 3lb ground beef and not the 1lb ground beef that was the sale item. Know that it’s frustrating for them to place items and such away is misleading. Though no apologies were given. Additional basket to place my items they decide to pile the groceries around my child who is sitting inside of the basket. My youngest, who cannot walk, was sitting in the top part of the basket. They decided to fill that as well so here I am with a child on my hip, a basket, full of groceries surrounding my child. No offer of helping me with my groceries to the car was provided. I saw 5 associates, one of which was the manager on duty on my way out the door. November 30 apx. 10:20 am. This is a Kroger that I go to all the time, but after today’s experience I don’t think I’ll be going back. I’d rather go to the HEB who at least treats their customers with respect dispute them being busy.

I know, businesses all around are short on employees, this Kroger is inexcusable. It has been bad since before the pandemic and impossible to shop at post pandemic. I don’t care if shelves are empty due to lack of supply but clean the damn store. It smells horrid. The floors are sticky, food on shelves are expired and no one seems to care. Monday at 5pm there was one cashier and at least 10 ppl ahead of me trying to use self checkout. This store is poorly managed and poorly staffed. Corporate doesn’t seem to care. HEB will wipe this Kroger out when it finally opens next fall. Good riddance.

Horrible service from Melissa at the money service area she judged my husband for his skin color. We got a money order from this place about two weeks ago. We just wanted to know if we could get a refund but instead of telling us nicely that they don’t retake a money order. She “examined” our money order for a few second and said the number 8 on the money order was forge. Even though it was printed by their machine. When my husband ask where can I go to cash in the money. She proceeded to be rude to my husband and told him I don’t know what to tell you. He also ask what’s the next step to take. She also said “I don’t know what to tell you.” Despite Melissa, Mahin was wonderful and helped us the second time around after I had to leave work to come all the way to this Kroger to ask why are they saying the money order was fake when they made it. Their logo and name ‘Kroger’ is literally on the money order 😒. Mahin didn’t judge our race and told us nicely that they don’t do refunds for money order through the store, but we can try to deposit into the bank and talk to a banker. That’s all we wanted to know and hear. I don’t usually write reviews unless needed. This is definitely needed.

Great, long-standing Kroger that delivers the right products for the area, at the right price, in a primo location. All things expected from a Kroger were present in this location. The store was clean, the variety was good, the displays were exceptional, and the service was commensurate with the Kroger way. When I’m in this part of town, this is my grocery store.

This post is dedicated to how amazing one of the workers, Miss Alberta was! When we initially walked in there was a special sale on La Croix sparkling water, $1.99 for a 12 pack. If you know anything about them that is a fantastic deal. So naturally we grabbed 4 packs to stock up.

When we got to checkout, however, we didn’t realize you needed a virtual coupon/ Kroger membership to get the discount. My aunt who lives in town has a membership but she was not with so we were kind of stuck.

We asked Alberta about it, and she went into the checkout system and manually changed the prices of all 4 of our drink packs to the discount price- like how sweet!! It was just a small thing but little kindnesses like that really do go a long ways. So thank you for being so awesome and patient, Alberta!

On top of this, every Kroger I’ve been to has always been super nice. If I lived in an area with one it’d probably be the grocery store I went to.

99.99999 percent of the time there is only 1 or 2 check out lines open with lines as long as the aisle and that is on a good day. I would love to rate the store with negative stars or trash cans. I am so glad HEB is coming to town because they actually care about their customers. I live across the street from this Kroger and thought, how convenient but now I will drive 5 miles to go to the HEB in Frisco until they build another in Prosper. It took 45 minutes to buy Drano and a 12 pack of coke.

His Kroger’s is typical of most in the chain. I found a store fairly clean however the fruits and vegetables were not very good looking. There is plenty of parking outside the store.

Kroger’s must have new people working in the store in a bakery because the pastries are terrible now you can’t even eat it. The Apple frittles is a mess. Taste like thick sweet bread. With no flavor no apples not good at all.

Kroger in Frisco TX: Do’s and Don’ts Every Shopper Should Know

Shopping at Kroger is a convenient and enjoyable experience, but it’s important to be aware of the rules and guidelines to ensure a smooth shopping trip. Here are some rules to follow while shopping at Kroger:

1. Follow Kroger’s mask policy: During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kroger has implemented a policy requiring all customers to wear masks while inside the store. This is to prioritize the health and safety of both shoppers and employees, so be sure to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth properly.

2. Practice social distancing: In addition to wearing masks, it’s important to maintain a safe distance from others while inside the store. Kroger has implemented markers on the floor to help guide customers on keeping a safe distance. Be mindful of these markers and respect other shoppers’ personal space.

3. Use hand sanitizers: Kroger provides hand sanitizing stations throughout the store. Take advantage of these stations when entering and exiting the store, as well as before and after handling any items. Regular hand sanitization helps prevent the spread of germs.

4. Respect store hours: Kroger has set opening and closing hours to ensure that all necessary cleaning, restocking, and maintenance can be carried out. Be sure to check the store’s hours before heading out and plan your shopping trip accordingly.

5. Be mindful of quantity limits: During certain times, Kroger may impose quantity limits on specific items to ensure fairness and availability for all shoppers. Pay attention to any signs or announcements about these limits and respect them to allow everyone a chance to purchase what they need.

  • Wear a mask at all times
  • Maintain a safe distance from others
  • Use hand sanitizers regularly
  • Respect store hours
  • Follow quantity limits on items

While shopping at Kroger, there are also a few things that you don’t need to worry about:

  • Unpacking all items at checkout: Unlike some stores that require customers to unpack every item from their cart at checkout, Kroger typically allows you to leave items in your cart for the cashier to scan.
  • Bringing your own bags: While it’s encouraged to bring reusable bags for a more sustainable shopping experience, Kroger provides bags for free if you don’t have your own. Feel free to use their bags for your convenience.
  • Paying only with cash: Kroger accepts a variety of payment methods, including credit and debit cards, as well as digital payment options like Apple Pay and Google Pay. You don’t need to worry about carrying cash specifically.

By following the rules and guidelines while shopping at Kroger, you can help create a safe and efficient shopping environment for all customers and staff. Enjoy your shopping experience!
