Arrived 20 minutes early but was attended to immediately by the front counter staff. Gave me the necessary forms to be filled and escorted me to the appropriate counter to await my turn. Short wait till my turn, and everything was settled within half hour. Such a pleasant experience compared to another Maybank branch I went to (nightmare experience there!). The branch proactively have staff engaging customers as they are in queue, to quickly sort out issue/get forms ready etc. Able to get almost all my needs done here. When I was applying for new card or application, staff were convenient to reach for me, friendly and handled all my enquiries. Parking on ground floor could be an issue – always crowded during the weekday, but at least have paid underground.By Amir Zarif (2 years ago)1.) I came at 9am with appointment because I dunno it open at 9.15. I ask security to open door in case I can sit while waiting. The staff at the counter automatically shooting at the security ” suruh die keluar, kita belom buka lagi. Instead he can tell politely like ”’Maaf puan, sila tunggu diluar, bank belum buka lagi”. To be exact, they open at 9.30am. 2.) Then, after settle activated my sme acc, I cannot log in because of the wrong password. But to reset the password they ask for the access no & pin which I NEVER GET from staff while activate the acc!!. I went to Maybank Sek20, the staff told me after I activated acc, I should get the slip with the access no. info. Thank to her I can get the pin no. However I stuck with pin no i NEVER received from one city. today I called hotline, but she cannot help, only branch can give the pin. So tell me what purpose of create the security question previously??? So silly !!!!! Why cannot just reset using TAC ??? Not every body free to go branch office. After that I call One City branch & tell about my issue. He ask me to come over to get the pin no.. Why cannot just verify with security question ?? Very unfriendly service. Called for an early settlement for a loan with the settlement department but the personnel was uninterested in explaining to me the financial aspects (rebates, interest waived, etc).
I guess there’s a salty bunch here. The old timer guard was helpful to me and I got my docs as requested with no fuss. It’s SS15, of course parking is a pain. advise to come at non peak hrs and park across the road. (Take the overhead bridge)
Very slow especially CSE..i have submitted the document 1 month earlier but not getting any updates. Very bad response, its should be last choice branch
Only dropping 5 stars because of Dzulaika was an absolute superstar when she helped me and my spouse open a joint account. She explained the process to us patiently, gave us clear explanation on what we should expect based on how we usually make payments AND throughout the whole process she was really cheerful. Impressed!
Good luck finding a working ATM here, or opening an account as an international student in under a month. Go to the Sunway branch, time to an open an account goes from 5 weeks to a week.
