4 months agoWe stayed at this house for a family trip to Los Angeles for 3 nights. A very good location as far as proximity to beaches as well as access to the greater LA area. We enjoyed the house, especially the backyard, and the host was very accessible, hands on, went out of way to meet our needs. Surely, this place left good memories and we would like to someday come back and re-live those memories.9 months agoThis is an amazing place! My husband and I have stayed 3 times at different times of the year…so all you need when it’s cold…warm blankets and central heat and heaters and great stuff for the beach. It feels like home because it is comfortable, yet with all these fun and lovely things it feels like a true vacation. The backyard is so peaceful with a huge table for family/friends to gather around. There is also a fire pit for those cool nights. Terrific location, near everything, the water, great restaurants, park, stores. Charlie is so personable and goes out of his way to make an enjoyable stay. There is always a lovely bottle of wine waiting to be opened a nice touch. I’m afraid to let you know how good, as I hope to book again. 🙂8 months agoNiquey and Charlie are amazing hosts and the little Yellow House on Broadway was just right for us. From the moment you enter you feel that you’ve been transported to an inviting peaceful and serene place. The house had everything we needed with a nice welcome touch from the hosts. It was super clean and comfortable and any time we had questions they were answered promptly. The beds are comfortable and cozy and the kitchen is very well equipped and the fridge was stocked in a way to make a short stay quite pleasant. The backyard is lovely but unfortunately we did not take full advantage of it since we spent most of our time with our family. We did not have a single complaint. My husband and I even commented that a place like that would be perfect for retirement! Despite it being on s major road, the noise was no issue and we felt very safe. We would definitely stay there again and we highly recommend it. Thank you Niquey and Charlie!a year agoStayed at The yellow house on 2 separate occasions and will definitely return. The host Nique is so helpful and accommodating. Very comfortable/clean place to stay with everything you need to feel at home.2 years agoTried to book here from Airbnb had the dates picked then they asked a couple of questions and said that weekend is booked for “maintenance “ but had it open for me to book? And then they took it off those days I book and now it’s back on? Discriminate much? Very unprofessional, I would have just taken a simply “no, sorry” don’t lie about it!
