What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Staying in your Hotel was a bad experience, I have to travel this year few times to Milpitas but I have to consider somewhere else to stay.
I will detail few items that your hotel should be addressed to any person staying in
    1. at check in I was greeted in a hurry there one other person behind me so everything things was done in a rush no questions can be asked only one per person at the front desk.
    2. The room that was assign 906 was in wrong area for my needs, a lot of noise air condition never stop been freezing even if u adjusted the temperature still was cold and air conditioner noise the smell of room was like mold was even worse.
I try to change, and Selena says hotel was sold out to check few days later maybe things maybe a room available.

Besides the air conditioner issue, the shower hot water never was hot.
At the end of a working day when I get back to the hotel, I want to chill out by taking a hot shower no possible the hot water only reaches to look warm every single evening.
I just feel that this hotel is not a Hilton representation doesn’t have any of the quality that in my experience I have with Hilton.
So very disappointed so expensive I just feel my necessity of my meeting didn’t allow me to make other arrangements.
At the front desk everyone shows that if you ask a question, you were bathers the front desk clerk no customers service ethic at all.
    4. I sure your hotel will never be suggested to no one in circle, rating this hotel will be 0 on scale from 0-10 ,

I’m very disappointed; I was hoping that i can rest after a full working day of meeting but was not possible.

I do want to say the staff at the breakfast time everyone of the waitresses and helpers were very nice simple people doing what they love to do greeting and helping the people who help to support their salary (clients)

Maybe the front desk staff has to be sent to the same training to learn.

  2. I travel to the Milpitas area a few times a year, and this time, I brought a few employees with me. I decided to stay at this Embassy Suites based on the location and the amenities they provide. The rooms are top-notch, where I had a balcony and a sliding glass door. They only clean the rooms if you stay 4 or more days, unless you request service. I always love the made to order breakfasts at Embassy Suites. I also enjoyed the burger and fries from the in-house restaurant, Taste. The bartender was very nice and courteous. The main issue I had was the page long extra rules that I have never seen before in any other Hilton location that I had to sign. I also didn’t understand charging $20 for parking each night when there is a Tesla charging station on site.

  3. Horrible experience. Electricity went out when taking a shower,a friend found worms in the coffee pot in the room, you do not have control of the temperature in the room which is set at 62 they give you portable heaters. Yet they keep charging a $100 deposit. What about customers starting to ask for a deposit making sure rooms work properly. We need them to guarantee things work. They knew about these issues but asked for a $100 deposit shameful

  4. PROs: The lobby and room itself were beautifully renovated. The girls at the front desk were super friendly and welcoming!! The free breakfast and free drinks/reception were great and added a nice touch.

CONS: The other reviews don’t lie — the rooms are super dirty. Felt like a two star motel stay. Maybe worse even. It was clear all that was done to clean the room was a change in towels and bedding (maybe). There were chips and pretzels on the floor next to the couch, sticky stains on the carpet, pink stains on the sheets, and long hair left on the walls of the shower. What’s worse is that the rooms don’t get cleaned during your stay unless you stay extended. Luckily and sadly, we weren’t at the room very much and also didn’t have time to ask for a room switch after unpacking so we just dealt with it.

  5. I don’t mind the location it’s right off the freeway but in the middle of food and shopping centers. The staff at this location were extremely friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed the indoor pool and complimentary breakfast. Everything felt clean as it should. I got to pick my own room using the app and they send welcoming messages to confirm your stay. I’ll definitely be staying here again

  • Use a third-party website or app. There are a number of third-party websites and apps that list Airbnbs. These websites can be a good way to find Airbnbs that aren’t listed on the Airbnb website, or to compare prices from different sources. Some popular third-party websites and apps include:
    • VRBO: Vacation Rental By Owner
    • HomeAway: HomeAway
    • Booking.com: Booking.com
    • Expedia: Expedia
  • Ask your friends or family. If you know someone who has stayed in an Airbnb, they may be able to recommend a good one for you. They may also be able to give you some insider tips on how to get the best deal.
  • Search social media. There are a number of social media groups and forums where people post about their Airbnb experiences. These can be a good way to get honest feedback from other travelers.
  • Attend a local travel fair. Many cities host travel fairs where you can meet with Airbnb hosts and learn more about their properties. This can be a great way to find an Airbnb that’s perfect for your needs.

Once you’ve found a few Airbnbs that you’re interested in, be sure to read the reviews carefully. This will give you a good idea of what other guests have experienced. You should also contact the host with any questions you have.

SERVICE Early checkin was available @ no extra charge. Tap payment is available. Despite the over staffed reception desk, checkin was slow. The cackling & gossip by the representatives carries all the way to the 2nd & 3rd floor walkways, but this doesn’t dissuade them from making negative comments about the guests (at least save the gossip until you’re off the floor or until the guest has actually checked out…). The website mentions dry cleaning & laundry services are available, but according to the staff those do not exist. Quite confusing & misleading. Lots of room for improvement in management, customer servicing, and general self-awareness. Elevators are unusually slow for a 3 floor property, but they’re spacious.

ROOM (suite) The renovation is beautiful, design-wise, & primed for functionality: Full length mirrors, lots of tabletop space, comfortable couches, wireless charging mats built into the tables, stylish gold lamps, sliding wood doors, and soothing floral paintings. But it’s poorly maintained & going downhill fast…: Stains on carpet, ceiling, wallpaper, & lampshades. The walls could also use a touch up; scuffs on paint & dirty/stained wallpaper. None of the charging mats actually function. Flaws aside, it has ample drawer and closet space for personal items and is comfortable for 2.

BATH The “bath area” is a half-bath (walk-in shower + toilet) in a closet space with the sink+vanity+towels+etc across the walkway in-between the bedroom and living room. It’s an unintuitive & uneven distribution of space, but still mostly functional. The layout is 100% not Accessible, so those units have a different arrangement & are your only option for a bathtub. There are (generic) bath products provided in the Kohler walk-in shower. Water pressure from the sink & shower was adequate, but the toilet (also Kohler) has a very weak flush. The cleaning standards are particularly low here: stains on wallpaper, showers aren’t cleaned thoroughly. Maintenance is also lacking: dirty grout lines, depressions in wall, toilet paper holder loose, auto-exhaust & motion-sensor light are too sensitive and turn on randomly.

Wi-Fi Unencrypted high-speed wifi with great QoS, behind a member login portal: * Video streaming: Great * Online Gaming: Great * Video Chatting: Great Nerd Stats…: Download: 93-105 Mbps Upload: 90-117 Mbps 0% packet loss.

FOOD In-room dining services are “…still temporarily suspended due to Covid…” which wasn’t communicated until AFTER we checked-in (another bait n switch) & doesn’t align with the general conduct by staff: maskless, lack of physical distancing, no identifiable hand sanitizer dispensers, no contactless check-in offering– no safety protocols were actually observed or encouraged during the 2 nights I spent here. Very disingenuous & tasteless interpretation of “concerns about Covid”. Despite the lack of convenient on-site food service, it’s also NOT DoorDash/UberEats friendly in a major way: Delivery person’s aren’t permitted entrance to the rooms, the overstaffed front desk won’t bring deliveries to the room & your food will be thrown away when they deem an appropriate & arbitrary amount of time has passed before being picked up. This is the first time in 70+ hotel stays that I’ve seen such an obtuse practice and counterproductive policy implemented at a hotel. If the information on the website was accurate and this was a written policy I would not have stayed here. Whoever is managing this location and/or website: please get this ‘policy’ posted online & distributed to the 3rd party platforms so we can avoid this location and save everyone a headache. Mini Coffee bar in the room. Snacks are available for purchase downstairs & breakfast is offered.

NOISE The receptionist are the worst offenders, followed by housekeeping staff. A few instances of kids running through the hallways above us, but generally no complaints with actual guests or exterior noises, even with the window open 24/7.

I’ve stayed here for many weeks over the last year and it is a great hotel with spacious rooms.

Breakfast is nice with buffet and a la carte options available.

The staff are always friendly, and there is an on-site gym, which has some reasonable equipment – but limited weights and gets very busy.

Like most hotels around the area, it has either taken advantage of the pandemic, or not recovered from it as they don’t clean rooms for an entire 2 week stay unless you explicitly ask. This to me is not what you pay for with a hotel.

The bar/restaurant also seems to be open very infrequently in my experience so I always try to eat before returning to the hotel.

5 stars!! We came to Sonesta after all the hotels in the area were booked because of a concert that night. The front desk was kind and provided great service. Beautiful hotel lobby. The rooms were exceptionally clean and modern. We are very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Very nice hotel at a very reasonable price. Best quality to price ratio in the area. Stayed at a handful of hotels in the area and this one will be my go to. Small thing to note is that there is a $15 charge for parking.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT – I booked a Queen Junior Suite for 2 nights through Priceline, amenities included a sofa bed and spa like tub, overall a more upgraded room than a basic room. Come to find out when I checked in, the office person told me they put me in a Prefered Queen Suite, when I explained I didn’t booked that room, she goes on and asks me to show her my reservation which I did, then continued to lie that the room I got was the correct room. Straight up lies to my face. I tried to explain i needed a sofa bed due to my 2 teen children who are a boy and a girl who cannot sleep together because seriously, who the heck does that? Her response “we can bring up extra pillows and blankets”. My husband and I had to sleep separately to accommodate our children, still weird. No consideration was made. Due to driving over four hours and being exhausted, we decided to just stay because there was definitely no way we could have found another place super last minute. After getting some sleep, I went on their actual website and come to find out, they don’t even have a “QUEEN JUNIOR SUITE”. Also, they have a freezer pretending to be a fridgerator and zero microwave in the room. Heck they didnt even clean our room. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. TOO BAD I CAN’T GIVE IT ALL ZEROS!

Unfortunately this Sheraton is DATED. Severely lacking in upgrades. I feel bad because the staff were wonderful. Whoever owns this property needs to invest in upgrades.

The only saving grace was how comfortable the bed was. And the rooms overall were spacious.

    The gym was sufficient.

Unfortunately this property is just really in need of a fresh coat of paint and new fixtures.

Christine, the front desk staff was an absolute sweetheart and made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. The rest of the staff are also very friendly and helpful. The club level rooms are great, the hotel is overall a little aged, but we enjoyed sitting by the pool and the convenient location, like the proximity to the great mall. Thank you for the great experience!

It seems that this property is in an area in rapid decline. My $5 regular coffee ☕️ in the restaurant was pretty terrible. The staff was as expected. (Pre covid expectations, so I suppose the staff I experienced were remarkable by today’s comparisons.)

    Dear Hotel,

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding my recent stay at your establishment. Upon entering my assigned room, I was shocked to find a large live spider crawling on the door, which caused me extreme distress and anxiety. As a guest, I expected a clean and safe environment, but this incident raised serious questions about the cleanliness and maintenance of your hotel. I kindly request compensation for the negative impact on my stay and urge you to take immediate action to rectify the issue and prevent future occurrences. As a loyal customer, I hope you prioritize guest comfort and satisfaction.

    Sincerely

Stayed here on a work trip. Fabulous and luxurious room with all the accommodations you could ask for. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The way the staff greeted you as you entered and the total ambiance went above and beyond expectations. I would definitely recommend to families and business people who needs to visit the bay area.
