a month agoVery nice place accommodated us very well. ABODE bucks did a wonderful job taking care of us with all of our needs. Any question we ever had or any problem we ever had they took care of immediately. Everything was very clean, except for one cleaning situation where the floors and stairwells needed more upkeep. That would be the only reason for the four star rating instead of a five star. We have enjoyed it so much that we have thought about returning in a future year for our family vacation. Location was perfect for our needs. Lots to do in St. Louis.2 months agoThis was a true home away from home! We loved the furnishings and everything we could have asked for was at the home we rented. We were a group of 6: my inlaws, my husband and I, and 2 teenage step sons. We fit comfortably and enjoyed the dining room for games and the patio for breakfast. Will for sure look at an AbodeBucks property for my next trip back to St. Louis.4 months agoOur family recently stayed at ABODEbucks Grand “La Chambre” property in the CWE. It is a Fabulous home – exactly as pictured and described, with the exception it has a little deck off the back of the house-bonus!Our family came into town from parts of the northeast, for our daughter’s thesis defense. We stayed for 4 nights. Great space – everyone was comfortable. We did a lot of entertaining – meals and family celebrations. Plenty of dishes, glasses, etc. The house was very clean upon arrival and the property manager/owner was always so prompt and happy to answer any of my questions. The downstairs bedroom and bath was perfect for my older mom who is not so steady doing a lot of stairs. The second and third floors provided plenty of bedrooms and baths for the rest of the family to sleep, get ready and relax comfortably. Truly enjoyable for all of us!
We definitely recommend this house and ABODEbucks! We would definitely stay here again.
9 months agoThe reservations was very convenient. The management was very accommodating to our requests leading up to our reservations. My wife and our friends had a wonderful stay at the McKinley Heights/Fox Park property. The pictures from their reservations site was exactly what we got, which was a beautiful property. Our whole party agreed on the character and coziness of the property. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with everything that we could need (including spices of all kinds). We are looking forward to returning to this property or trying out one of their other properties. If you are planning to visit St Louis, and you want to use a more value friendly service than AirBnB or VRBO, do not hesitate to go to their reservations site.4 months agoExcellent housing for our family get together – comfortable, clean, and all as describe. Check in and out was very easy. ABODEbucks was consistently very communicative and helpful from booking all the way to checkout. Would definitely stay again!

6 months agoAmazing breakfast, and Henrietta is incredibly attentive and generous. She provided a customized weekend experience and cooks some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The pancakes were light, fluffy, buttery (no need to add butter on top), and also had a thin caramelized golden crust on one side… we’re coming back for the pancakes alone. House has a variety of unique decor and each room is meticulous in their design. The location is perfect for attending performances at the Fab Fox, and the house comes with very easy off street parking. You could walk to the Fox or park your car in free parking earlier in the evening, walk down and then drive back. We will definitely return!2 months agoIf your looking for a nice bed and breakfast for you and your person, look no more… This place is everything…we had the the Reflexions room, with a jacuzzi tub (was so relaxing) Mrs Henrietta was a very sweet lady made us feel comfortable and the breakfast was a 10/10… we will definitely be back soon…2 years agoWe stayed here for an anniversary getaway and could not have been happier with our experience! We stayed in the Diamonds and Pearls room and the Jacuzzi was amazing. The price was super affordable and breakfast was wonderful. The staff provided the most friendly and helpful service we’ve ever experienced traveling around. We are definitely going to come back and check out the other rooms!! We had dinner at Ranoush hookah bar and dessert drinks at the Crafted Narwhal. Those and lots of other dining options within a mile make this a perfect location.a year agoThe Central West End Bed & Breakfast was amazing, it was a surprise for my husband’s birthday and he loved. The room was very clean and elegant and the jacuzzi was great. AMAZING… the location & parking was very convenient, rooms were clean, the staff was awesome.

My friends and I met at the Fleur De Les for an extended girls weekend and it exceeded all expectations. The mansion is beautiful and well maintained. Even better was the service. Mark and Leslie (and very-well-behaved Lily, the Sheepadoodle) were a joy, and so hospitable. Mark’s breakfast was absolutely delicious and Leslie’s recommendations on restaurants and things to do were spot on. The extra touches (towel warmer, bathrobes, 24-hour tea and coffee service, puzzles/games, etc) made the visit even more comfortable. The location was very convenient and it felt very safe. We all agreed we would definitely come back!
My husband and I stayed here one night for my 30th birthday. Where do I even start! We were warmly greeted by name upon arrival by Leslie and shown to our room. Every accommodation imaginable is already there. “The chocolate chip cookies 🤤” Leslie and Mark are so sweet and inviting. We went off their recommendations list for dinner at Hamilton’s, it too was nothing short of amazing. Unfortunately our stay was cut short and we had to leave before breakfast but it smelled amazing. We will be back! 10/10
A stay that exceeded our expectations! Mark, Leslie, Sammie, and Lily were a wonderful host team. The delectable breakfasts were delish! The mansion is well loved and our hosts knew how to read the guests in how much engagement they desired. The newest member of the greeting team was Lily (adorable doodle) and she was sure to give a happy wag and a lick to welcome you home. We stayed for a week which extended our time in STL for an event we attended on the weekend. We felt so comfortable, it was like we never left home.
We stayed over for my birthday this past weekend and our stay did not disappoint. Beautiful B&B with lovely caretakers. They went out of their way to make our stay special, even making the amazing deconstructed greek yogurt parfait special for me, since I fell in love with it on our last visit. If you’re interested in staying at a lovely B&B with the best hosts, look no further!
I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone traveling to St Louis. The building and rooms were very comfortable and highly maintained. The attention to detail in making guests feel comfortable is evident. And, of course, the breakfasts were wonderful. Thank you, Landen and Wafer for making our stay so enjoyable.
