  1. We stayed at the Childress House BNB for two nights as we were exploring the area for a possible move south. Sandi was an incredibly gracious host. The air conditioning was not working properly, and she was right on it. In fact, the repairman was there until 11pm to get it fixed. I was sitting out on the porch and she brought me some sweet tea. The rooms are tastefully decorated… so much history to enjoy. The location is fantastic..within walking distance to the downtown square. We highly recommend the Childress House to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay conveniently located to downtown.
