Prices are reasonable and there are special items on the menu available only on certain days of the week. Do come early or be prepared to wait a little for a table as it gets quite crowded. But we were greeted with a warm welcome. Still packed during this hour, which could only mean that the food is good. The manager gave us a large table and we started ordering what’s left (available food in the menu). As a rundown, we ordered their signature A Jie White Coffee (ice and hot) 4.5 🌟 which was really good. Then we ordered 2 bowls of Assam Laksa 4 🌟 .. Thick and nice but my only complain is that it doesn’t come with chunky fish. The Toast with Kaya 4 🌟 was also nice but one friend commented that it didnt come with butter… So immedietly the staff brought butter (upon request).. That’s great customer service. In addition, we ordered Char Siew Pao (BBQ Pork Bun) 5 🌟 and this was really big and nice. This is unlike normal ones as the meat is juicy and the portion (size) is huge. We also tried the Bread with Chicken Curry 3.5 🌟 and the Braised Pork Rice 4 🌟. The one I personally like the most is actually the Rojak 5 🌟 which comes with thick and delicious sauce… And it even comes with a small plate of spicy chili if in case you want to spice up the Rojak. Very thoughtful indeed! Generally, everyone here enjoyed the food and we will definitely be back the next time we are around the corner. Since this round, a lot of their signature was sold out.. We will definitely try those during our next visit. It’s a little bit pricier than Inside Scoop, but you get to enjoy the cozy space, with western design and a street corner view. Staff are friendly and serving time very quick. Tasted Oreo and Mango with shredded coconut, both are good. I also like their wedges, came hot and tasty. Not as adventurous to try the savoury waffles yet. Shop has another higher level area, which can be used for small gathering apart from normal restaurant crowd. Service so far is ok. Parking will be a challenge since it is located at tourist area. Went to this restaurant to have dinner. Was a bit annoyed by the waitress because she kept confirming the order with us although we have written the order on the order chit. The food taste was okay only. And the price a bit pricey but I believe it was standard kopitiam price. All in all, there is still room for improvement.
Grab a morning coffee break here.The staff was very friendly and helpful. Fast service. Amazing tasty coffee. Love the “kaw” Nan Yang. Nasi lemak and nasi ayam was good too. Clean and comfy.
Not that easy to park, the food in Ipoh is better than other city. However still not good enough like the original old restaurant. But only this one is halal, with air conditioning.
Friendly staff, reasonably fast to serve the food that we ordered. Good options on the menu and Halal-certified, so it’s a good choice for those who need it in this area.
This is my first visit after they have vacated the corner lot.
This is the first one white coffee resto and origin from ipoh. This is one of most recommended resto you should visit during your trip in Ipoh. They have variatif menu and froendly staff.
