What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Who doesn’t love them an Aldi‘s. Great quality non brand name food, for what I consistently find to be the cheapest price. I now trek out about 20 minutes just to get to this Aldi‘s.

The pictures are completely random pictures I had been taking for my own price comparisons.

P.S: A gallon milk was like $1.50 the last time I went. Eggs where like $2.99

P.S.S Since we have to do an honest review I do love Aldi but you have got to check the date on any of the fresh product like salads, bread, and even milk. In my experience they can be closer to expiration than I would like. I’ve 100 % skipped out on buying those products before because of the expiration date.

  2. First experience of this new location was good. (***Update- Have to say their produce is quite bad. Everything I purchased, and visited again and purchased, went bad, like avocados, asparagus, Store was quite big for an ALDI. Clean, neat isles, friendly staff. I was eying the prices on many items, and it seems the prices are lower or about the same as Wal-Mart across the street. There were some good promotional items to get customers in the store like a low price per pound on big turkeys. Some packaged items like chicken breast seemed lower, but you get a few less chicken breasts per package, so overall being the same price of walmart. So definetely look for the great deal that you can find in the store. It is still fun to have a store near by, and we will definetely be going back.

  3. We really like Aldi. What items they do have are very well priced and high quality. You can quickly get in and get items for an easy dinner. We still go to our local ‘conventional’ grocery store which has 5x the selection for big weekend shopping trips. Check out the app and the ads for some spectacular deals.
You do have to bag your own stuff with your own bags, but that really isn’t a problem for us, and we carry a specific quarter in our cars to get a cart, no big deal at all.

  4. Yes! We have Aldi in the West valley!

I didn’t know about Aldi until I went on a trip to Florida and Oklahoma. It is by far the best store for fresh, never-frozen salmon. It is so delicious. I had no idea salmon could be this good.

The produce is fresh and a good price. Compared to a lot of other retail groceries, I find the prices so much better — up to 15% less on a lot of items.

An overall great shopping experience. Bring your own bags, and shopping carts cost a quarter deposit which you get back when you return it.

I will shop here to save money on exceptional grocery items!

  5. Great place to shop very clean great and helpful staff and great prices definitely recommend trying this place out

I really like the store. I also like that they don’t have 50 types of every item to choose from! I don’t even mind having to bring my own bags, I have plenty.

What did bother me was the cashier started scanning my items and literally throwing them into another cart! I had to bag my groceries outside in the heat! IF I HAVE TO USE MY OWN BAGS AND BAG MY GROCERIES, GIVE ME TIME TO DO SO!

I absolutely love Aldi, it’s the store I grew up on. People who don’t know what it is do not appreciate the prices, and when you have a family of six it makes a big difference! I also love that the Aldi brand does not have the artificial dyes and junk in it that other regular brands do. And I especially appreciate Elijah the cashier! He is so fast and still so careful and caring with your groceries. Some other people will just throw them in the cart no matter what lands on top of what and stuff breaks open or fruit gets smashed but Elijah can do both, the efficiency and the stacking with like items and carefully. He is also just a ray of sunshine in the store and always so courteous and polite.

I wish I knew about the bag and the cart fiasco before I had to throw 30 items in my trunk. They had SOME fairly priced (mostly produce) items, but they make up for it in the overpriced brand name items they do carry. The expiring chicken that was full price was wild too. People who say Aldi is like TJs have never been in a TJs. It’s like a more mid Food4Less. How did this place make it into our neighborhood?

Love the store, just nice change from the other stores. Like the variety of different items they carry and they definitely are lower priced on a lot of them.

The past 3 or 4 times we’ve been there, the same cashier has not greeted or even acknowledged us at all! He seemed like he is in his own little world. Whatever happened to customer service?

I love this store and their concept. The location and newly renovated store is great. Their prices are amazing. However their service at this location is bad, none of their employee look happy and they seem very bothered when you ask for help.

I have been waiting for this adventure discovering a new grocery outlet. I took two buses to get there cuz I do not have a vehicle. They had excellent prices. The atmosphere was casual. I was able to find a lot of things in a short amount of time. The only thing that I did not like was that their meat selection could have been better. I like Aldi’s, and will go back again.

Don’t shop here! More expensive than general supermarkets! I came to ALDI on purpose last night to save on my $144 Fry’s bill last time. ALDI ended up being $148 and we purchased your general less expensive stuff mostly!.. vegetables. They were also out of broccoli.. 1 box to serve the Phoenix area? 😆 I remember ALDI being cheaper than other markets in Florida and Ohio some years ago. Not here!! Why bag your own groceries? And they don’t usually lose carts due to the quarter system. Also their parking lot lights were off. What, they want you to get mugged too? No more!

It doesn’t seem that this place has very much that we had to offer or that we needed. We need a lot of Keto and gluten-free options and it seemed like this place was hit or miss. I didn’t want to stay too long and Shop here because there was some rude lady who was on her phone and had her phone on speaker phone and was loud and had the entire conversation and or argument on her phone / speakerphone the entire time. So I didn’t spend way too much time in here because I was completely annoyed by the lady that wouldn’t turn off her damn speaker phone and just shop but she was on her speaker phone the entire day from the time she came in until the time she checked out her bags she was on speakerphone. It’s not the store’s fault that she was on her speaker phone having an argument, but it was just a terrible experience for me because of this inconsiderate person. Hoping that my next experience is a good one.

Great selection and prices for basic groceries. Took me too long to check out this new location–I used to go to them when living in Michigan. They seemed a little smaller but had a bigger selection than I remember. Produce looked fresh and ripe, and a great selection of bakes goods as well. Had a single lane open and the cashier was moving but not keeping up, so he told some of us to change lanes and start unloading, and a 2nd cashier was there in just a few seconds. I’m definitely coming back for stuff. Still wonderful October 2023.
