  I have been visiting Uptown Barbershop since 2019 and Jacob has been my barber the entire time. Each time I walk into the shop, I’m treated like family by everyone there. The online system to book appointments is super quick and easy which makes the in-person experience the same way. I return to this barbershop every 10 days not only because of the quality haircut provided, but the amazing experience that I have when I walk in the door. All of the barbers in the shop are super talented and friendly. If you are looking for a great haircut, visit Uptown Barbershop and you won’t be disappointed.   I’m very critical about my haircut and beard shaping. I got a fairly decent cut and the shave was nice as well; they do wet shave the appropriate way instead of dry shaving. Experience was good and personable as well. The only issue I have was the pricing there is upfront pricing on basic things but for example what I received which was a haircut with a beard trim/shave was not posted and when I payed for it the total was $60 not including tip…now I personally have my own barber and he does a much more in depth cut for $45. The pricing on the website shouldn’t be “price varies” in my opinion.

  Jacob does an amazing job every time I’m there. He’s always on time, quick and remembers his clients. A true gentleman. I like the online reservations at Uptown. There’s never a wait and the entire shop is polite and well-run. I’ve been jumping around Phoenix barbers for years – glad I finally found the right place!

  I took my son there today so he would have a mature and fresh look for his 14th birthday tomorrow. Thank you Ronnie for your kind heart! I saw at their original location years ago the level of service they provide their clientele as I treated an ex boyfriend to a haircut. I’m jealous honestly. Men have it great in there. Old school with a modern twist V.I.P treatment.

  I was a walk in (called first) Nice people. Got a nice clean hair cut from the lady. She was quiet so I didn’t get her name. One thing I really appreciated was the paper collar. Some shops don’t don’t use them anymore – or you have to ask. Definitely a clean operation. They include a hot towel wrap after the hair cut. Nice touch but I passed because I was in a hurry. Next time I’ll try it. Paid a little more than I am use to for a regular men’s haircut. But I was glad to pay it because I needed a cut for a family event and my regular guy was closed.

  I went here as a last resort because I needed a fast haircut. When I walked in I was scared to death because I wasn’t sure if they can cut coarse hair. Not only did they cut well, but they also didn’t smoke or use their phone on the job and was solely focused on my haircut. It even came with a hot towel and a scalp massage at the end. Will definitely return.

  Jay never fails to give me a clean cut. He’s meticulous and takes pride in his craft. Very professional and clean barbershop with online scheduling making it easier to book. They don’t accept credit card payments unless Shane is there and even then there is a fee, so cash or zelle is the preferred payment method.

  Been going there since it was first opened as A & D barbershop. Always consistant, great service. I have gone through several barbers over the years, but for a number of years have been and currently see Robert and have 3 friends who also have Robert as their barber.
