One of their workers damaged the foundation, admitted he did, and when I called to see how and when they would repair it he told me and I quote “Unless you have a picture of my guy, with my machine, with my name on it, doing the damage then it is what it is and I cannot make myself any clearer. My next step is to hang up on you.” I’m going to let the insurance company handle it and hold off on a lawyer for now but be aware if they damage something, they clearly aren’t fixing it even when their worker admitted fault and you have before and after pics.By Nicole Schultz (8 months ago)Terrible. The guy that came told my 22yr old son it was blocked from baby wipes. My son said it’s impossible bc there’s no babies here nor do we use flushable wipes. Very combative argumentative & RUDE to my son!! My son told him we don’t go in the basement often & asked if THEIR mess will be cleaned. The worker said yes. Fast forward a few weeks later I notice strange bugs in my house & an odor. I go in the basement & they left the pile of raw sewage & whatever they took out of the pipe on my basement floor!!! Now, my basement is covered in mold & these bugs are hatching in the raw sewage!!!! Call them to tell them about it & speak to Vince. He says they don’t clean it up. I said why would your worker say that yes you do & why wasn’t I told this BEFORE we hired them? He said I apologize but he gave you incorrect information. Had I KNOW they were going to leave it, it would have been cleaned immediately!! Vince was nothing but RUDE to me!!! Terrible customer service & he had the audacity to tell me I needed to hire a cleaning crew. Did not offer any compensation or any way to resolve this problem. Just kept being a total douchebag to me!! Be AWARE if you’re sewer is backed up they LEAVE raw sewage in a pile for YOU to clean without telling you!!! I cannot say enough good things about them and their work. They were easy to talk to over the phone and worked with my schedule to have the work completed. They showed up on time and completed the work in one day even after running into some problems. The owner even helped me troubleshoot my gas furnace that was not working at the time. The day of the consult, Joey arrived with a project manager (I’m sorry I cannot remember his name-but was very nice). He explained all of my options and I felt at ease with his knowledge and to have him do the work. Joey and Kyle installed new plumbing to install my washer into my septic line. They were very professional, courteous, explained everything they did, and left the job area spotless. I am extremely satisfied and would not hesitate to have Joey and Kyle return for future jobs. They definitely eased a stressful situation.
My experience was a good one. I had a flood due to the temperatures going in the negative degrees which froze my pipes and caused a major problem in my crawl space. The two technicians that came out (Mike & Josh) were just amazing! They did a great job as well as being very thorough with everything they did. I will definitely rate them a 10 and will request them back to my home if ever in need again. They take pride in their work and that made me feel good as a customer to know that it’s not just a job for them.

We had a water line break (on a Saturday – late morning) in the floor between our main bathroom and kitchen, basically flooding and destroying our kitchen. It had to be completely gutted from floor to ceiling, as within minutes our kitchen was destroyed. We called Roto Rooter and they were at hour house in minutes!
I was so lucky to have the team of Mike, Cindy and Tim that completed the demolition of our kitchen down to the studs. They weren’t just working for us, but became friends in the few visits when they were working.
We have no kitchen or main bathroom (we have to shower in a hotel and due to my husband’s work schedule, he has to live there several times a week). This amazing team of Cindy and Tim saw when I just wanted to cry and did more than demo my house, but helped me through this disaster. They also became best buddies to my dog – she will miss them.
I work in the construction industry, but it is much easier to work on the other end as the interior designer; however Mike, Cindy and Tim were always here to offer advice and just have a voice to vent to because we were going through so much and the stress was definitely taking a toll on us. They weren’t only there to help demo our wet kitchen, but there as a friend.
There are no words to describe how much I would recommend Roto Rooter for an unexpected disaster in your home. They understand the issues, become your friends and become people to lean on when you want to just sit down and cry.
