- Reviews:It’s a very nice place to shop…I never had to wait longer than 3 minutes to check out. The only thing that could be approved is customer service. Greeting customers is very welcoming and makes you feel good about choosing this location over all others. Smiling faces and bubbly personalities are contagious. Don’t nobody want to spend their hard earn money with companies that just hire anybody to run cashier without checking to see if their compassionate. Everyone like to feel as if their vip. I like the store. The meat and vegetables are always fresh. I usually do not have any issues. Today I went to return a bottle of food color I purchased a week ago. I had the receipt. The lady from behind the customer service room, or whatever you want to call it, was really nasty about it. She insisted basically that I did not buy it from there. I told her I did. She went on to tell me how they restocked the food coloring 3 days ago. The bottles don’t even look like the one I purchased, according to her. I told her I don’t care, I purchased it from your store a week ago. So when I purchased the food coloring that is what was on your shelf. I received my money back. She didn’t want too, I could tell. From now on I will check before I leave the store. I don’t have time to argue with you about $4.49! What’s funny, when I shop at Foodland, I always see items on sale because it is expired or soon to expire. Please don’t try to tell me you don’t have expired items. Honestly if I was able to leave 0 Starts I would after what I dealt with today. It took around 30 minutes for somebody to help me while I was at self scan to help figure out why the vitamins I bought weren’t on sale when there was a tag out in the aisle that said it was. The employee who helped me didn’t have a nice attitude with me and she made me feel like that it was my fault that I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t on sale even if it said it was. The employee refused to help me out when I asked even after the store manager had asked her to Honor the sale. The employee still refused and the manager did it which I’m happy they did but the customer service in all was horrible.
I have a love/hate relationship with this location. It’s over crowded and usually out of a lot of stock. There are never enough cashiers working, so be ready to be in a long line between 4pm and 9pm everyday. This place was so much better before the pandemic when it was open 24hrs. I would go at 3am to get my groceries when it’s much less crowded and fully stocked.

The store was clean and well stocked, except for the Meijer brand frozen vegetables. Quick checkout self-serve lanes.
DONT SHOP AT MEIJER THE SELF SERVICE MACHINE TAKE YOUR MONEY WHEN YOU ASK FOR CASH BACK!!! Rip Off!!! I went to the 12ml/ Telegraph location to purchase some item and I went to self checkout and proceeded to pay with my debit card and I asked for cash back and it didn’t! so I advised the cashier that nothing came out she looked puzzled and then she suspended the entire transaction so I checked my account it showed the amount was taken out so I advised her and the other (2) cashier that came to the self scan area and they was saying wait and a couple days it would go back to the account so I asked to speak w/ manager and he echoed the same so I contact my bank and they stated that the amount was deducted and so I went today (Saturday) and spoke w/ another manager and she was trying to tell me that it was suspended so I tried showing her my letter from my bank and it was dismissed and she stated that she will contact card services but they closed on weekends and she will contact them Monday… so Meijer took my money but I will be contacting the BBB because am willing to bet it has happen to others!
