Store was beautiful and clean. I stopped in hoping for a quick meal to toss in the oven and ended up spending $50 on different items from the deli area that looked good. I personally was not a fan of a single item I purchased. I didn’t like the meat and cheese, not the breakfast quiche. I also wasn’t a fan of the Alfredo or Baked Ziti. I feel good cooking for my family with food I buy there. Yes it’s a little more expensive. But only a little. The fruits and veggies are amazing, and I feel that they go bad less often than other stores. The layout of the store makes no sense and there are several areas that are right near check out which make it extremely crowded. I found myself needing deodorant so I picked out a deodorant and when I got home found that the deodorant was used and expired back in 2020. I purchased this deodorant in 2022 so it was 2 years expired and sitting at the front of the shelf. The deli and hot foods didn’t look worth it and it would be nice if they had more vegetarian options. It’s ok to grab a few items occasionally but I spent $30 for just a few things. They had a variety of gluten free products and organic fruits vegetables even coffee and more, they have all your needs for food that is healthier and less processed. I can’t wait for my next visit and to try more natural foods! I feel so much better when I eat more organic/gluten free products. My focus,sleep and energy levels have all benefited from making a change in what I eat! It’s not a quick fix but a life long commitment and journey. I’m so excited to have Trader Joe’s as a new place to shop at! Highly recommend their gluten free tortilla chips with hint of lime. I also enjoy their banana chips and they have an awesome French Vanilla cold brew coffee! I wish they would start paying more attention in self check out , watched a lady put 6 packs of ribs plus chicken and beef logs, into a bag without scanning , she left cabbage and green onions on the scale , and took the handheld scanner off the hook. 5 employees passed her plus security and didn’t say not a word or stop her. She cashed out at 56$ for about almost 200$ worth of groceries. I wonder why there’s never ANY meat in when I go to this location, and in addition the line was backed up to the frozen food and she’s just taking her dear sweet time stealing while everyone just watched.
I specifically went to Wal-Mart to see if they carried a vegetable slicer/grader. They had one but not exactly what I wanted. However I did pick up a few grocery items I needed. This visit and the two trips prior I had the nicest cashier’s. They were friendly and helpful. Often times the cashier’s don’t interact with the customer and appear that they really prefer not to be there. This visit and the two prior the cashier’s acted as if they were happy to be there and enjoyed their jobs. It made for a nice experience. Also the young man at the door checking receipts had a great attitude. I enjoy shopping when the employees are pleasant and appreciate their customers.
I want to like this WalMart more, I really do, but I shop here because it’s on my side of MN 19 and too many stop lights to get across to Target. It needs a make-over. HOWEVER, the staff are very friendly and helpful. LOTS of self-check out lanes, good plant selection and typically has many of the odd ingredients I need for various cuisines in my cooking skill-set.
Terrible experience!!! I was shopping with my kid. I Simply asked for assistance… Team lead Mars was totally rude and disrespectful. The situation was defused by another associate – Team lead Phill who quickly stepped in and offered to help. Phill was very professional and respectful. He couldn’t help at that moment but offer to get assistance in a very respectful tone.
I would avoid shopping at this store.
Zero customer service as usual. I told myself every time I’m not coming back to this location management clearly doesn’t care or or are incompetent. Do you think with as much money as Walmart brings in they’d have a little more help.
