  3. Devin was early, which was greatly appreciated since the furnace wasn’t working. He quickly identified the problem, was knowledgeable and informative as to the different ways to approach the problem. He patiently explained in detail our different options and answered all our questions. Kenny and Mark installed the furnace the same day and explained in detail what they would do and how it would work. The professionalism of Devin, Kenny, and Mark was impeccable. I cannot express enough how pleased I was with their service and professionalism. We will definitely rely upon Brackett for future service needs, as we signed up for their routine maintenance and service package.

  4. Brackett has been outstanding in quality, efficiency and price. Responsive and quick to repair our system on two separate occasions. Once during the middle of summer when our system froze up and once in the winter when a part in the heating unit started making a very loud, consistent noise. Their staff has always been courteous and helpful. Vern was awesome when he used to come and work on our system and now we have James, who is every bit as great as our prior technician. Best HVAC company in the area.

    COULDN’T BE HAPPIER My main water line burst about 2” from the outside of my house (4 ft. below ground level) and I was gripped with fear because I had no insurance, I knew that replacing the line would be expensive, and it was 9PM. Fortunately, I was able to turn the water off myself at the meter. I’m an experienced plumber (PVC & galvanized pipe) but I’m 68 years old and my family of six would have been without water too long if I did the job myself. My front yard was a nightmare to work in because it was small, surrounded by a picket fence, and had numerous more obstacles for accommodating an excavator to dig a 20 foot trench. So, I googled “water main replacement Evansville” and Bud’s Plumbing came out on top with the highest and most reviews. I called Bud’s in the morning and was told by a very cordial woman that someone would come out to give me a quote. Shortly thereafter, Bob & Ben came out to give me a quote. Bob did all the talking and said he could push pipe underground from the street but he said using an excavator to dig a trench would be cheaper. Bob impressed me so much with how he answered each of my questions that I decided to not even shop for a second quote because his was already about half of what I expected. The next day at 8:30 in the morning, Bob & Ben showed up with a third guy, Randy, who fit his small excavator on rubber tracks into my yard after they removed portions of my wooden fence and I had running water by 1 PM which boggled my mind. The youngest guy, Ben, told me that Bud’s employs only union plumbers which surprised me since I assumed that highly-skilled union plumbers wouldn’t be affordable. He also said that Bud’s allows all of their workers to use tools & parts of their personal preference and that Bob prefers buying everything made in the USA when possible. I talked to Randy for about 30 minutes during his lunch break and was very impressed with his digging skills. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that these three guys at Bud’s exceeded all of my expectations in terms of price, work quality, friendliness, and professionalism. They even assembled my fence back together and swept my neighbor’s drive without me asking them. Go figure.

    Bob and Benjamin with Bud’s did a great job detecting the issue and replacing our tankless water heater. Bud’s gave us a free estimate where another company charged us $275 for the same information. The courtesy calls and texts to let you know timing, etc. were great and the team was pleasant and professional all the way around. I’ll definitely use them in the future!

    I will recommend this company to anyone and definitely use them again if I need further plumbing help. I called and needed urgent help, as my toilet and garbage disposal both quit working. They came out pretty quickly & gave me a free estimate. The next morning, they were on right on time as promised. They had both issues fixed quickly. David & Keaton were both extremely professional, kind & also compassionate, as I just recently lost my husband. They went above & beyond. Their character & work ethic deserves to be acknowledged.

    I had called 5 plumbers and Bud`s was the only one to call back. They were at my place the next day to check out my problem. I needed help to prevent pipe freezing. Kevin and Logan were very friendly and explained what would be done and gave me the cost. It seemed very reasonable. They did the work. I`m very happy. The weather got down to 28!     Evan and Zeke arrived in the rain! They took extra precautions to make sure no water made it into the house. They replaced the wax ring on the toilet in about 30 minutes. The bathroom was immaculate when they left! I have used Bud’s before to replace an outside spigot! Evan was on that job also! From the initial phone call to the job’s end: Kudos to the Team at Bud’s

    They replaced our old Carrier AC unit and Trane heating. Which was 28 years old. Decided to go back with all Carrier. Wouldn’t go with any other brand. It definitely held up over the years.     I really can’t say enough about the professionalism of this company. Great customer service. Everyone I came into contact with, specifically Troy and Hannah, knew their stuff and were extremely helpful. We have tried other companies, ( I won’t name names) and when I asked them questions about the repair or unit they wanted to install, they really had no information. Hannah was great in helping assure us that we were getting the right unit and Troy was polite, professional and did a great job with installation.

    J.E. Shekels sent a notification of the name and photo of the service technician. The tech called when on his way. He was very polite and explained everything he was doing. When he was finished he asked if I had any questions and thanked me. I don’t know if every tech will give you the same experience but Ryan Herring was excellent.

    Although I feel all the technicians are good Darrin Eaton is the most thorough and goes the extra mile. I feel I have gotten my money worth after seeing his work. He performed tests on heating system that I have never seen the other technicians perform. I will be requesting him to do my maintenance in the future.

    I cannot attest to the quality in that we did not use this vendor. My complaint is blatant price gouge. They came to the house evaluated and indicated a new 40 gal AO Smith gas water heater would be needed. Cost…. $2200!. This did not sound right . I inquired at two other places…. 50 gal AO Smith gas water heater …. $1400 and $1200!!! My sister , whom I represent is alone and a senior citizen on a very limited budget. I do not mind paying for quality but this disparity in cost is obvious and extreme. Be fair only and always…. Especially to our seniors.
