5 months agoThe deli staff ignorant and rude all over 60 years of age and should know better than to just ignore people but that’s exactly what they did. Not one word not a hello i will be with you shortly, absolutely nothing!!!! what a disgrace, they should be ashamed of themselves. Stood there with another customer for over seven minutes with no acknowledgment.4 months agoThe pickup location at 26 and Van Dyke has been terrible. I specifically asked if they didn’t have anything in my order and he said only one thing. I got home and two other things were out of stock and not in my order. Now I have to go back out to the store late in the evening so my kids have lunches for school. It would have been easier to know this while I was already at the store. This is twice now. I’ll try another Kroger going forward.3 months agoShelves were bare in most departments this past Sunday before noon as if the whole place called off.Black female self check-out clerk at opening 1* (it’s usually the employees themselves doing the stealing at these retail establishments, trust me I know this). White female produce clerk at same time 5*. It’s a wash. I see the female deli counter clerk has been corrected. She’s turned around 110% and no longer giving you that googly eye look of “What are you here for anyway!’ like most fast food restaurant counters.
5 months agoIt’s a fairly new only under 5 years old so it’s still in good shape looks good inside the rose of items a little small it’s crowded if yuu put two of those motorized little carts they’re almost running into each other when pass each other this is the only problem I have with5 months agoKroger, your Starbucks employees here are truly magic. I come to your location instead of going to any Starbucks because of how amazing your staff is. Big shout out to Amber, she always kills it here!

a week agoIf I could give this store no stars I would. Every time I come into this Kroger I have the worst customer service imaginable. I honestly would never come here unless it was so close to my house because there are not many grocery stores in the area that I live in. But given the fact that I am very close I come here often. The other day I went in to purchase a few things along with a bottle of wine. I proceeded to go to self check out with my nephew who is still in high school. I myself am 30 years old and was picking up a bottle of wine for my husband at home my nephew lives with us as well. The ID check came up at the self check out and the attendant came over to check my ID. He then proceeded to ask my nephew for his as well him being still in high school he does not have one and I proceeded to tell him that he is my nephew and he doesn’t have one, he lives at home with me and my husband and I am purchasing this bottle of wine for my husband he denied me the ability to purchase this bottle of wine and so I had my nephew go outside to the car I went and grabbed a bottle of wine came back he swiped the bottle of wine from the self check out and told me I already denied you for this. To my knowledge there is no policy to where if I am of age and I am with a member of my family that I live in my household with someone like a son a daughter etc. am I not allowed to purchase alcohol. I proceeded to tell the attendant that this is not a policy that they have and he proceeded to tell me that it is I then asked to speak with the manager and they were very rude treating me like I’m a criminal trying to distribute alcohol to minors saying that they had recently been caught selling to an underage person and that they were under in “strict watch”. The manager proceeded to tell me that I’m not allowed to buy from the store today and I have to come back tomorrow a complete waste of my time …disgusting customer service not to mention that is even not a policy in their handbook because I had spoken with Kroger corporate the day after and they told me that this was not a policy that they have if I am of age I can purchase alcohol if I would like no matter who is with me. I’ve been treated poorly here before but this was the last straw for me it’s a shame that this is the only grocery store around. And shame on the manager and the workers that belittled me in front of the whole store and treated me with such disrespect. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.in the last weekWorst operated deli I’ve ever been to. Extremely hard to get waited on, with a bunch of people always standing around. Also, they are consistently out of products that a grocery store would normally never be out of. Not the best Kroger out there, that’s for sure!a week agoRude and disrespectful I came in 20 min before close to grab one item . Was met with rolling eyes by staff and as I was at the self check out line the still with 10 min to spare before closing. The attendant proceeded to say under their breath oh my gosh here’s another one they never stop coming in. To my knowledge I’m allowed to shop at a grocery store before they actually close I shouldn’t feel rushed as I’m walking out the attendant proceeds to tell me you should’ve shopped earlier next time. Absolutely disgusting terrible customer service.2 weeks agoi had to go to battle with these folks over their prescription computer call in. i got two case numbers and a phone call from a 513 area code which i did not answer. i texted and i got an answer! dr patel the head of the pharmacy’s for the Kroger company was on the case. i called in an rx today and it got handled normal no lost phone number. so just for grins i texted the doctor on the Sunday before labor day. the doctor was answering thee phone! i made them aware of the problem . i got a phone call from a suit. i hope its solved i got the suit’s 513 number in my phone book now.5 months agoNice grocery store, staff is helpful and polite and store is kept very clean. Nice variety of products. Been going to this Kroger for years.

Stuck waiting in line for more than 15 minutes because they have all lines closed except self checkout and one other.
Refused to open a new line when asked, very poor experience…
Edit: 5 min later still in line… Another note there isn’t any baggers on staff currently so you have to bag your own stuff.
Edit Edit: Still in line, store is loaded with people. Literally no reason they shouldn’t have more lines open. Someone else has been waiting behind us for around 10 min now too.
Used pick up ordering. Shopper remarked there was no asparagus or ginger paste. Went into store to find whole shelf of asparagus and ginger paste!
Is it me or do the workers in the deli deliberately put the sticker over the bags so it is destroyed while trying to open. The deli workers also never close the bags. For years now and I do mean years. Every single time we purchase the bags must be closed because apparently it’s to much to ask for them to close the bags on your lunch meat or cheese. After today after destroying the bag trying to open, I’ve decided to switch to Meijer deli for my lunch meat.
Love the Marketplace stores! Lots to choose from & good prices! Love the big array of home goods, clothes etc. Nice clean big store….& no wait in lines too!
There was a meat department worker here who gave off really creepy vibes. Definitely not coming back.
