What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I really like this Kroger! The older ladies that work there are so sweet! I also love that they work together and help each other out vs complain or ignore one another when you ask for help. Definitely a team environment! I do wish it was a bit bigger and offered more selection but overall I enjoy shopping here. The Starbucks was also recently renovated and looks great. My only feedback would be that they need to rotate or check their expired product more frequently. I also check the yogurt because I have bought expired yogurt here before.

  2. Well this Kroger was really nice it even has a coffee place. This place is really nice the manager that about ran me over on the way out of the bathroom. He was really rude and I said sorry and he mean mugged me. So only complaint is your managers need to get off there high horse and become human again. Thank you for the reminder that I never would want to be part of a place that has so much negativity. Ps. Please trim the trees outside you store so you can the store sign.

  3. The first really bad experience when I got Rose’s from them this past weekend. Pics are attached

  4. Gia at Cochrans Crossing in The Woodlands is the best help. She’s professional, patient, knowledgeable, understanding, friendly, and helpful in a big way. When I called for assistance, I had no idea she was going to make my day better and make me smile. She was uncommonly kind to me, a stranger to her.

Please acknowledge her as she stands out in an already outstanding store. You have so many great employees at this location and Gia stood out today.

  5. We’ve swung into this Kroger a few times a decade or so back. It’s still a decent location to shop at. Nowhere near the size of a super Kroger, this one is more quiet and offers a more peaceful shopping experience. The store was clean and the shelves were mostly stocked (08/2023). There were very few items they didn’t have in stock that we were looking for. We would recommend this Kroger if shopping in the area.

This used to be a 5-star grocery store. They have a pharmacy. A great cosmetics section. A floral section. Nice bakery. Lots of wines and beers. And most importantly they employ people with mental and physical challenges which I very much admire as a large corporation. Some of the sweetest people that work there are the baggers. The biggest issue with Kroger is that they never have enough employees and they are almost insistent that customers use self checkout. So I started going to H‑E‑B and never have that issue. If I need one or two items I will go to Kroger but I don’t want to self check a whole cart of items. I doubt anyone does. The Starbucks in-store is very nice and quick however they have an employee that wears a name tag “Short Bus Jen”. I find it strange that a grocery store that values all types of employees would permit this person to wear a name tag like this. The pharmacy has good prices especially if you use the Kroger RX card. They also have a huge selection of gift cards. But unfortunately Kroger has fallen from grace with their lack of personal customer care like forcing self checkout. They will simply never be able to compete with H‑E‑B.

I love Krogers, they always have really great fruit , bread and cookies. They have wonderful cakes and also they have a flower dept where you can get beautiful flowers for every occasion for a very low price! Way to go Krogers , now only if you could stay open just a little later! You would be perfect!

Every time I go, I find something expired. I bought rice that was expired by 6 months. Their produce isn’t fresh either. However, there’s never anyone there on the weekends so if you don’t want a crowded shopping experience, it’s your place.

5 out of 7 kroger pickups cancelled. probably the other two will be as well. Joke of a company. Funny thing is I get ads for pickup everyday, but they can’t fulfill them. Learn how to do inventory other stores do it just fine!

The Kroger@Alden bridge on research is the worst with incompetent people at the self check out and register.

Linda, the worst with customer service, she is resistance to change anything that is eithier a weekly deals and clipped and ring up at wrong price.

Linda literally want you to just not buy the item by making you wait 10- 15min for a manager to change the price that is literally Kroger price at the particular time.

This occured yesterday 08/30/23@6pm after coming home from working. I went to the 1 cashier that they Kroger had working and he had an attitude and told me ” she is only 1 person”. I was so frustrated with both. Manager showed 10min later after Linda called saying ” customer need help at self check out” which was very confusing to me as a customer; why couldn’t she do it. She then asked me for my phone because she wanted to verified I clipped the apple juice that was to be $1.49 vs $2.49. I was so upset but would not leave bc she did this to me before when register had issues with price at self check out and I did not buy my groceries then.

She is lazy and need to learn her job bc the manager even said ” didn’t we tell you, if this occur, to give the customer the clipped price”. She was so resistant and that cashier was rude. Never again will I go there, who hired these people. Is this where our society is going, hiring passive aggressive nasty, lazy and incompetent individuals.

Advised store staff and management several times, still with the same expired product on shelves after weeks.

This store is a shame for the Kroger brand.

Updated on 12/09/2022. Believe it or not, the same products are still on shelves, three months expired, even after communicating with staff several times…

Today is 01/15/23, and they still selling products expired in Sep/2022.

I’ve done a few curbside orders successfully but today I had missing items. To get it resolved, it took me 15 minutes of waiting on the phone, getting disconnected, and even talking to a manager briefly just to be put on hold again. Luckily I used the chat agent and got a refund for the missing items within a few minutes.

Just went to courtesy booth after self check out to break a $10 bill for singles so I can put in Easter eggs for grandchildren. A young mindless employee would not give me singles. Absolutely mindless. He stated it messes up the count. LOL. I just reviewed all of the complaints. Wow. A lot and Kroger does not respond. Bad business decisions.

The lady at Starbucks is so nasty and when she doesn’t want to make coffee the way it should be made and when you ask her to correct it it’s a big problem. I ordered a venti shaken espresso and it looks like the coffee pot was to heavy for her to hold and pour coffee. Bring Debbie back cause this woman is too nasty and should not work with people. Thanks for a half a cup of coffee.
