  Follow-up: A manager did call me in response to this review which is appreciated. I think she got my # from a Walmart email survey with a copy/paste of my experience below. She said they have problems getting workers to show up for shifts. Regardless of the reasons, it makes for a bad experience for customers, so why would people return?

  Do NOT come here. My god. Hire more workers. Checkout lines were insane on a random Tuesday night. 25 minutes. No exaggeration. Lines were backed up far into the clothing sections.. Almost no checkout lines were open. Guy in line says it’s always like this and he usually doesn’t come here because of it. Horrible management. They’re losing money.

  I have the same experience every time at this Walmart. The employees don’t have the best customer service; the cashier I encountered today did not speak during the entire transaction( not even hello). The dairy/juice area is completely empty, veggies/fruits full of mold and under tables, and the frozen wings are gone. The ladies that work in the Return/Exchange department and greeters will be the only friendly customer service you experience. Extremely long lines with limited registers open. 2/10 would only recommend if you are dying for what you need. The aura of this Walmart is ratchet with a mix of heroine.

  Absolutely hate going here. Wish I had another option for basic shopping! The shelves are a mess—can’t ever find the right price for things. And the lines take FOREVER. You can come in for 2 things and spend 20 minutes waiting to check out….If you can find the end of the line. SW Baltimore deserves better!!!

  This is one of thee worst Walmarts to even shop at ….. everytime I give them the benefit of doubt …. I should’ve just remembered my previous experience….. their lines are always through the aisles …. every single line that is open …. and they only have 4 maybe 5 checkouts open …… not to mention how slow they move . This is ridiculous!! We’ve been waiting in line for at least 20 mins now

  There’s nothing SUPER about this place. It’s miserable. The bedding shelves are empty and the checkout lines are OUTRAGEOUSLY LONG. Perhaps this is how it is classified as SUPER because the cashiers are super slow. No management. It’s not even the holiday season yet. Every time I step foot into this place I experience this MESS.

  It’s rather disappointing that every other walmart in the area is stocked better than the one that’s in my neighborhood. The biggest areas of shelve stocking issues for me is soft lines (clothes) and automotive. The way the store is currently stocked in those areas you almost have to dig through everything to find what you need. It would be great if management could focus on getting the items in the right place on the shelf.

  Great!!!! Nice and neat. Employees wasn’t dirty looking and smelling like weed. Fast cashiers. Maybe the store manager should sent other store managers some tips. H street walmart is ghetto and employees are dirty looking and losers. Not all. A few decent ones with some sense and manners.

  I arrived at roughly 6:40 am and came in because the store advertises as open. I asked at LEAST 5 people for help in electronics and no one knows anybody with a key to get a usb chord out of the case. No manager, no department worker; nothing! How are you a functional business without the ability to help customers with all needs?! The store looks beautiful, but if this is how you are “helping” the customer, I don’t want it.

  The wait to go through the self check out was beyond ridiculously long. I had about 5-7 items. However, about 3 basket in front of me, this lady had well over 100 items and that is no exaggeration. She has to have touched literally every section of that store. Buggies like that should be sent to cashier. Not the 2 lines assigned for self check out. We spent over an hour in this store & again we only had 5-7 items.

  Absolutely horrible experience. It was my first and last time going here. I’ve never had to write a negative review for a walmart before. They had 2 registers open plus a 20 items or less and self check out. Each line had over 30 carts, not even full carts, constantly. The lines stretched all the way to the back of the store and they didn’t open another register. We waited nearly an hour in line. DO NOT come here for a quick trip ever. The cashiers were lovely but management has issues.

  This store is always missing price tags. It’s like some exhausting game. Then when you go to ask for a price check they want you to download the app and do it yourself. I came in for trash bags and toilet paper. Both had missing tags.

  This is hand’s down the worst walmart I can think off. I had spent more than an hour trying to process a return from the curbside. Associates wouldn’t even acknowledge my presence, let alone answer my questions. It is not like they haven’t been coming outside. I wonder why they have the service if customers are ignored.

  This is THE worst Walmart experience ever. I was in this store at 9:30 on a Fri. It was a complete zoo! I thought it was because it was the first of the month but when I asked an associate he said “it’s like this 24/7!” I stayed in the line for damn near 40 min. If I didn’t need what I had in my hands for the next day I would have ran out of there. People in here just don’t have good shopping etiquette either. Why bring a family of 6-8 to the store with you? Isles all jammed up with an entire family making one item selection. Kids running around. The parking lot didn’t get any better. There were carts EVERYWHERE, a lady selling balloons that glow( something like you get at a circus) which BTW that’s where I thought I was. Then another woman with a complete stand set up in two parking spaces selling waist beads, shea butter, black soap and clothing…Seriously I thought I was in the twilight zone. I didn’t think to take pictures until I got home because I was so in awe. The store is centered in a very diverse area so I understand that, so if you want a calmer experience don’t go here. Way too overstimulating!!!

  Worst and most traumatizing experience ever. My family would never steal, we have no absolute reason to. I understand it’s “protocol” to check people’s items and make sure everything is paid for. But there is no reason you need 3-4 team members being aggressive and hostile with you. They proceeded to drag us to the side and forcibly separate our items. Then dragged two of my family members inside a room with a bunch of cameras with no word of what was happening. Then left my two young daughters outside the room where they were rudely told to move and stand elsewhere. But not only my experience was horrible. It was heartbreaking to witness a couple who it was obvious to anyone they barely knew English, was being yelled at and terrorized over a mistake as well. There is no extent to which you should start yelling at someone especially if they’re having a hard time understanding what you are saying. Very disgusting. Will not be returning. Wish I could give them no stars, but unfortunately, I am unable to post my review without it.

  It was my first time here, and I had to say that I was shocked with what I experienced yesterday.

  The store was very clean. The employees were helpful and courteous. The shoppers were very nice and respectful. I expected to have the same old problems that I always had with Wal-Mart, but instead, I had the most pleasant experience while shopping here.

  I loath this Walmart with a passion. Aside from being out of stock of almost everything daily, it is unorganized, disheveled and you almost seem to be a bother to the associates. I pretty much avoid at all costs.

  On-line says they have what I want in stock. They don’t. I decide on something similar. Use THEIR app to scan the code on the shelf to make sure it is correct product. Shelf says $70, app says $59.88. Two employees say the cashier can honor that price. Employee needs manager. Nope, won’t do it. But I could stand right there and order it on-line to have it brought to my car for $59.88 and waste their employee’s time since I have it right here in my car. Went to Target.

  Low prices and variety are great, but the shelves are seldom stocked well even though you have to maneuver around stocking carts. #1 problem is that 1 or 2 cashiers are open even though you will encounter 50 employees while shopping. The employees are always helpful and courteous. Hate self check out unless I only have a few items.

  IF you must go in a Walmart, do yourself a favor and skip this one. I use the self check-out. I had a Walmart gift card that I wanted to use. It did not work in the self check-out because the lady said it had a scratch. Keep in mind I had been in line for 15 minutes. I was taken to three additional lines for all of three cashiers to say, I don’t have time to enter the numbers on the card. By this point, I am livid and pay for my items without the gift card. So, five cashiers are clueless and the manager never came, after I waited.

  One of the busiest super centers I’ve been to in MD. Can be a bit chaotic 🤭. The huge parking lot was close to 90% filled, which definitely a good thing for business, but the shop seems to try to pack in as much merchandise as they can by sacrificing the aisle space 🤭…no 2 carts can go pass each other in the same aisle 🤦🏻‍♀️
  Halloween costumes aisles were especially messy and there was no one there to clean them up.
  They do have a good selections of Halloween bake goods decorations, worth to check out.

  This was definitely a bad experience. You have fast checkout lane for customers with fewer than 20 packages , but don’t regulate it at all. I waited patiently behind several people who exceeded the posted limit. Even though I waited a long time I normally would have ignored it and gone about my day as usual. But when it was finally my turn to be wrung up for my 5 items I was refused the sale of one of my items because they said that it didn’t have a barcode which it didn’t but a sticker that was placed on it like all the other same items that were on the shelf with it. I asked the cashier if they could get someone to solve the problem but they refused and did not want to even try. They were trying to get me out as quickly as they could. This infuriated me because I was there try to purchase something that they sell and shelved themselves without a barcode and suddenly they were worried about the speed of the line when they didn’t previously care when they had people who were over the items limit. They wouldn’t call a manager or anyone to help solve the problem. They flat out didn’t care. I chose to leave without purchasing anything if they can’t give the most basic of customer service then they don’t deserve my money and I can go to the target across the street. As for the item I can even post a photo of how they were labeled on the shelf but i digress. In the end this mostly is me venting my frustration, but I advise customers to try one of the other local stores, you’ll find better customer service elsewhere.

  Usually don’t leave negative reviews but I did not have a pleasant experience. IKE the manager is very rude & shouldn’t be in management at all.
  Told me the customer service area was closed when I got there at 9:30 pm but they were helping out 2 people return items.
