The staff was very helpful. The food was good, a little bit pricey but still acceptable. Dissapointed with the signature drink. I prefer my coffee in a proper glass when dine in. They serve it in a commercial bottle. It’s not busy hour, not fully occupied at all, but seems that they messed up our order with other table as order later than ours was served first instead. Would have give 3 stars for the food and 4 stars for the spacious environment.By eva chong (3 months ago)I was at this outlet for dinner after checking in at the Luma Hotel 2 doors away. My travel group decided to try out the local delights for dinner and ordered a plate of fried beef noodles and two plates of stir fried bee hoon. Food- fair in terms of portion and taste though the beef one was a meagre portion. The chicken wings were crispy but quite tasteless. Environment- Instagrammable place which was clean without cooking smells. It was a halal restaurant with a good mix of locals and possibly Asian tourists. We had takeaway on our last day and tried the beef rendang rice which was ok too. I thought that the beef could have been a tad softer. The service was ok by Malaysian standards. The staff kept the tables cleaned after the customers left. There are seats al fresco behind if you are keen to dine differently. The cute coffee art definitely made my gloomy day better. The staff there are nice and polite too! They also sanitize the table and chairs after each customer. Decided to visit this cafe after seeing the reviews from TripAdvisor and Google. The cafe has great food and ambience. Love the breakfast set! Everything is so tasty. The earl grey chocolate drink is very unique and yummy too. Came back the second day and tried the pasta too. It is very delicious.
food and ambiance is great, staff is friendly too. their smoothie bowl is delicious and the chips are crispy. we ordered the earl grey latte, its very fragrant with a hint of lavander. would recommend this cafe to have a meal/chill
Good coffee and service. Wifi works well and plenty of tables to sit. There are also some outlets if you need. I highly recommend the grilled cheese with tomato soup, it was SO tasty. Music was a tad loud, but other than that no complaints. Would definitely go back.
And just a note, outdoor section was closed when I went, just in case you wanted to sit outside, it’s not available at the moment.
As one of the prominent hipster cafe in Kota Kinabalu with quite an extensive brunch menu I kind expect a lot. They do deliver with tasteful dishes as we ordered their Nook’s breakfast and a weird looking omelette which is smacked on a sourdough bread. Saw the chef baking the bread in the kitchen and that is a plus. The hot latte I ordered came with latte art and tasted good.
Beautiful ambience with such polite staff. Loved the brunch and home roasted combination black coffee is must have for coffee lovers. It’s a shame that couldn’t buy the roast to bring home. Guess will have to go back just for that coffee
