What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I asked for city view and I got it with looking over the Hudson.

Food was a bit over priced but still good. I felt safe in the area even parking my SUV but it’s a bit tight but then again it’s the city.

Sheets were clean rooms neat each morning along with towels…. I mean they even folded my dirty clothes on the bed… but I wasn’t expecting service. So overall great… I stay at Disney resorts and have to say this was a bit better.

  2. Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area. I’ve been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be let down.

Excellent! I have stayed 4 weeks in a row with work, and it’s beautiful. The rooms are very clean and spacious. They have everything I need, they give me water bottles at the Front desk and I can ask for more as needed and cookies. The room is like a suit with 2 TVs and a living room. It has a gym and orange theory across and location is great!

  3. Stayed in a 2 bed corner suite. Great service. The cookies are always warm. The location to NY cannot be beat as the PATH train is only $2.75 each way and takes you right into the heart of Manhattan. I always stay here. The rooms are clean. The staff is superb! You will not be disappointed.

  4. We stayed as a family of 6 for 6 nights and we couldn’t have been happier in the choice we made. Our overall stay and experience was simply amazing. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was courteous and welcoming. Housekeeping made sure our big family was comfortable, clean and had the amenities needed. Many thanks to Mildred at the front desk who greeted us and made sure our entire family was well taken care of and comfortable. When we come back , we will definitely stay here again.

  5. Inquired about a room block. Sales coordinator did not mention anything about a 2 might minimum during my inquiry call. She emailed me back stating room blocks require a two night minimum and attrition just because “it’s a busy week”

I understand the attrition but 2 night minimum for a wedding block because it is a busy week is unfair when this isn’t usually the case

    horrible communication.

There are many ways to find an Airbnb near you in US cities. Here are a few of the best ways:

  • Use the Airbnb website or app. This is the most obvious way to find an Airbnb, and it’s also the easiest. Simply enter your desired location and dates, and you’ll be presented with a list of available Airbnbs. You can filter the results by price, number of bedrooms, amenities, and other factors.
  • Use a third-party website or app. There are a number of third-party websites and apps that list Airbnbs. These websites can be a good way to find Airbnbs that aren’t listed on the Airbnb website, or to compare prices from different sources. Some popular third-party websites and apps include:
    • VRBO: Vacation Rental By Owner
    • HomeAway: HomeAway
    • Booking.com: Booking.com
    • Expedia: Expedia
  • Ask your friends or family. If you know someone who has stayed in an Airbnb, they may be able to recommend a good one for you. They may also be able to give you some insider tips on how to get the best deal.
  • Search social media. There are a number of social media groups and forums where people post about their Airbnb experiences. These can be a good way to get honest feedback from other travelers.
  • Attend a local travel fair. Many cities host travel fairs where you can meet with Airbnb hosts and learn more about their properties. This can be a great way to find an Airbnb that’s perfect for your needs.

Once you’ve found a few Airbnbs that you’re interested in, be sure to read the reviews carefully. This will give you a good idea of what other guests have experienced. You should also contact the host with any questions you have.

Fantastic location. Decent sized, clean rooms. Service level fluctuated and depended on the person we dealt with.

Likes: right next to PATH and light rail stations, so very convenient. Rooms were clean, and Washrooms were well stocked. Breakfast was delicious. The pantry gave some options for late night snacks and liquor. Staff was friendly and helpful for finding amenities and prompt in their dealing. Parking is available in the building across the street, and they validated for a discount rate.

Dislikes: Check-in staff was horrible, and we had long wait lines for breakfast and no place to sit down on Sunday morning. They only do housekeeping once in three days, so remember to call them if you need your room serviced before that. The light rail next to your room could be troublesome for light sleepers, didn’t bother us.

Amazing location, felt safe, and absolutely perfect view of Lower Manhattan from the lounge/check-in. Service was amazing at check-in and check-out but lacked a bit at night which wasn’t a big deal. The dining area is spacious and modern with more amazing views. The rooftop is more of a bar/club and has a lot more people coming and going. Overall an amazing experience. I definitely plan to stay at Hyatt House again

We recently stayed here to visit family in Jersey City, as well as attend a game at Yankee Stadium. The location was ideal for transportation to all of our destinations. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The views from rooftop and waterfront walkway were breathtaking. At no fault to the hotel, there is a lot of construction right outside the main entrance which made things a little complicated at times. We also called ahead of our stay to request a room not on the side of the light rail to keep the noise down. We could still hear it a bit, but it was not bothersome.Since its an extended stay hotel, they have a policy in place to do room housekeeping as needed. We liked this idea since making up the room every day is more than necessary. Unfortunately, when we needed housekeeping, some of the messages were mixed up, and we didn’t receive what we asked for and instead received things that were unusable in our room. Eventually, it all worked out, and staff was always pleasant. There were stores and restaurants within close walking distance, and the whole area was calmer and more relaxing than across the river in Manhattan. If we head to the area again, we would definitely stay here.

Pros Very close to the subway and rail trains. Located on the boardwalk Rooftop restaurant Fee breakfast each morning Full kitchen with fridge, microwave and stove with utensils. Very friendly hotel staff Within walking distance of food spots.

    Cons

At first glance (surface level) this is a very nice hotel. It appears that it was remodeled some time ago, and was never kept up properly. During our stay I noticed mildew/mold around the shower, stains on the walls & questionable spots between the sink and the wall. Parking is $27/day in the parking deck unless you find somewhere to park on the street. Bed is super firm Pull out bed is a thin mattress with no support.

    Take away

Priced ok for a family stay. There were 4 of us that fit comfortably in the room.

Soooooo many good things about this hotel. Hotel was slightly confusing at first but Trudy got us sorted out quickly. Trudy changed our room to a better one and explained the parking well.

Location is spectacular. Steps to the parking garage and Exchange Place PATH station to NYC.

Room was excellent for a longer trip. Felt like we were staying in an apartment rather than a hotel. The shower was phenomenal! Even the pull out bed was above expectations! The room was cleaner than most hotel rooms we’ve stayed in.

Highly, highly recommend. Was beyond perfect in every way.

The quality of the apartment is very mediocre. The paint work is very bad and there were burn holes in the floor. A few things were not working like the cordless telephone and one of the toilet roll holders is broken. Despite my complaint to the customer service department and their assurances that the issue will be resolved, its been 3 days and we are still waiting for resolution. The lady on phone told me that the paint work could not be sorted as there was little time between one guests and us checking in. It’s quite a lame excuse as we didn’t sign up for B Grade service or apartment.

Loved it!! Was skeptical of an apartment at first but it really was a great experience. The furnishings were nice, we had a view, there wasn’t too many people, and it was so much more open and airy than the average hotel. It was the same price as a hotel and we comfortable fit 3 people in a one bedroom apartment.

If you wanna be bored with a false fire alarm every week (sometimes more than 1x week), that’s the place. “May I have your attention please, may i have your attention please, there is a fire in your floor…” Management sometimes sends excuse e-mails, but a real solution is far from being implemented.

Recently, my husband and myself had a terrible unpleasant experience at Global luxury suites. We were very unhappy especially with the customer service line. Firstly, the staff is not polite while responding to our requests. Secondly, I had requested for early check in and I was asked to contact 5 times before we received any updates on the same. The day we arrived, one of the customer service member confirmed the key is ready at front desk. And then only we reached the hotel, however, on arrival our keys weren’t ready. When we contacted the customer service again. the lady on the line rudely remarked keys aren’t ready and won’t be until 4.00 pm. How can the staff be so inconsistent and so non-cooperative? I will never recommend any one to book rooms with global luxury suites again. Also, at the time of booking, it was mentioned we will receive harbor view, what we received was not even close to that. We barely could see any view. The floor where we were staying was changed from 22 to 16 (after I made the reservation). Again inconsistency. I made sure we receive parking on arrival and your staff mentioned we do get one spot for 25$ for a day. When we arrived, the lot was full and we learnt that parking is on first come first serve basis. Once again lack of information provided to us at the time of booking. May I know what is the reason they charge close to 120$ (taxes and fees)?! Totally unfair. For me it was a mistake booking at your suites, and hope no one makes this mistake again. The only good thing is the apartments look decent, and the view from the top was good, but the customer service and difficulties we faced killed our experience, especially when I wanted to make this special for my husband’s birthday. Never to book with these guys again, terrible.

Convenient location. Close to train station and the city. The area is clean and residential. The apartment had a nice view and very comfortable. The welcome basket on the room was a plus because included wash dish and toiletries, etc. The only negative side is that because this is more like a residential building the front desk doesn’t act like a hotel front desk. When we arrived we waited almost half an hour until someone showed up and the lady just gave us an envelope with the keys inside, but no further information. Even on the welcome letter they provided instructions of how to check out, but not of the facilities, etc. For example, they could add gym is located on X floor, etc. All in all the price was fair and front desk could be improve.
