a year agoVery nice experience. Yesterday when I vist 40 to 60% discount for several items. Vanity bags are sold for 20$ and even bellow. Another attractive thing noticed was the offer for a credit card along with several offers ( since I am only a visitter to US) I didn’t care but still I feel there some attraction for permenent customers. After 2015 this is the first time I shop from Macy’s I feel a great difference in there approch to the customers and the way they present.a month agoI had an online order to pick up there. Before I left I went online and let the store I was on my way. Went to the pickup area just to the left of the south door. They scand the order code on my phone. When to the shelf and got my order, I signed for it and I was on my way home. Don’t aways have what I’m looking for and some of the quality isn’t always the best. But prices and styles hit that almost perfect balance that makes them worth checking out.a month agoIt’s nice to have a big store where you can try a variety of stuff on. I’m not sure if it was because of a sale, or not enough salespeople; but the store was chaos. There were a lot of clothes racks near the fitting rooms. So much so, it looked like the fitting rooms were closed. Also, one of the salespeople was scolding women who were trying on clothes to hang them up when they were done. I understand her frustration, but I shouldn’t be scolded for others lack of propriety. Also, Macy’s would benefit from some well placed micro store directories showing where designers are within the Women’s section. It’s a bit of a maze and hard to find where you want to go. The above is why I’ve marked Macy’s down a star, but I really appreciate them being open for in store shopping!!

3 weeks agoIf you’re thinking about buying oriental rugs from Macys, our advice is don’t. We bought two expensive rugs. We were charged for rugs we never ordered, and for ones we canceled because they weren’t in stock. They did credit us eventually. Delivery woes. Worse was that we thought Macy’s would take care of delivery, which was expensive. Boy were we mistaken. They contract with FedEx and then wash their hands of it entirely. They take zero responsibility for the delivery process. Here’s what happened. First, they delivered a rug we hadn’t ordered and which Macy’s had no tracking number for. Second, they delivered a rug on the requested day and time, but they forced my 70 year-old husband to take the rug from the truck. Third, they delivered a rug to the wrong address on the wrong day and time. Fourth, we paid to change the delivery dates, times, and addresses. One was OK, the other was not. We’ve great service when Macy’s delivered furniture-not the rugs, tho.2 months agoI come to Macy’s for cologne or if I’m getting someone a gift. I appreciate the variety they offer on their products and also the varied price points of like items. All in all Macy’s is a great retail store with great options and varieties.4 months agoStore looked great, bright, pretty well organized, clean, there weren’t a lot of clothes people had looked at and thrown back on a display that were just left there. It looked like they made a point of keeping it organized. They had lots of options to look at. The only problem we had was having to go to section after section (some areas were set up by brand for example) to find all the options for a specific item. For example, we were looking for a certain style of black jeans or casual pants. There were at least 5 or 6 places we had to look for them, instead of the pants being grouped at least reasonably close to each other. We had to go to one brand’s section and look at their choices, then go to the next one, and the next one, and so on and so on. I realize that may be somewhat dictated by the display requirements of the different designers, just like some brands of goods at other types of stores. So, that’s my thoughts anyway. Hope it helps.4 months agoWent to this location in search of a prom dress, not expecting to find anything good and waste hours in all the stores. Luckily, we found an amazing dress and had an amazing sales worker in the process. Michael did an incredible job engaging in conversation and helping the checkout go as smoothly as possible. He was amazing with recommendations, and even inspired my child to join the debate team. Thank you, Michael!3 months agoWow! I ordered things online and returned them in store only to see an employee totally disgusted by me. She suggested I “never order things online.“ Also, the last time I was here, was at Christmas and the escalator from floor 1 to 2 was broken. It still is …in MAY! Are they just letting this place go? Do the employees not care anymore? What happened to their customer service? Why are they telling me to not shop online? I will try my best to never shop here again.

This is a great old school department store that carries many great products. The Bellevue Square location is well stocked, but service has declined since COVID19. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world 🌎
Due to Covid, Macy’s isn’t the same. There were fewer sales people & lack of merchandise in various sizes. Luckily I found a few items in the ‘Last Act’ section which is the final price section where there are no returns or exchanges. Essentially sold ‘as is’ & the women’s selection was pretty big. Most sizes were a petite or extra, extra large. The same goes for the women’s shoe department. There were bargains galore!
Slimmer pickings in the housewares and bedding department.
This is the place if you’re bargain shopping.
Update: on my most recent visit I selected a pair of men’s pants and I had to go all the way across the store to women’s shoes until I found a cashier to ring me up. I came across another customer who is also looking for someone to help her. When I was at the register the cashier was trying to multitask and do something on a mobile device for another order while I was waiting for her to finish my transaction. Very disappointing customer service at this store.
I like Macy’s because they have a wide variety of more simple apparel. For example, they have a pretty large selection of Levi jeans here. However, today when I visited this store it was an absolute mess, literally like a tornado just blew through the store or like the store was looted again. Like my photos show there were literally heaping piles of mistreated clothing. I had to go to three different registers in the men’s department before I had to go over to the handbags department to find a register to make a purchase at where I finally found a sales associate to ring me up. The quality of the store seems to get worse and worse.
Macy’s backstage is a treasure trove of bargains, with a wide range of options and huge discounts. You can also find amazing deals on last act sale items that are hard to resist. Macy’s at Bellevue square is a spacious and well-organized store, with multiple sections and floors to explore. Whether you are looking for gifts or treats for yourself, you will find something to suit your taste and budget. Macy’s also offers frequent sales and promotions that make shopping there even more rewarding. It’s a must-visit destination for savvy shoppers. Happy shopping 🛍️😅
