  1. I had two experiences with this company one very positive and one negative. I am choosing to leave this review on the positive, as the experiences were two different people. The tech Cody that came out to my house was awesome. He was experienced, hard working, empathic, on time, and worked with integrity. Although the news he had to break to me about my furnace was not good and expensive to me in my pocket book I had no problem paying my bill. Be more like Cody.

  2. On Christmas Eve Power went out at my residence. Hours later when Consumers restored power it blew the furnace transformer prohibiting my furnace from turning back on. It was cold. I noticed a Goyette truck at my neighbors house fixing the same issue. Once the Goyette technician, Coby, was done at my neighbors, I flagged him down. I find out It was the technician’s, Coby’s, day off but he was working on Christmas Eve to help another co-worker that was slammed with service calls. Coby without hesitation agreed to look at my furnace issue. Within 30-45 minutes Coby had my furnace working again.   3. Dave came out to diagnose my boiler on a service call after hours and came back to fix it once parts had arrived. He was wonderful and professional. The company as a whole was nothing short of great to work with and I would be happy to use them and refer them for future needs. Thanks Goyette!   4. Goyette had to do a few things at my house this past month including plumbing, electrical, and work on my geothermal. Everyone who was involved was extremely proficient at their craft and got everything running beautifully. Zak takes time to explain what’s going on and is very passionate about his work. Expect the job to be done right!

    I had service done in my home for a flooding floor drain in my basement on Tuesday 12-20-22. The first guy came out and got the water down and that was that. Then on Friday 12-23-22 the same problem happened. I called and they scheduled for another technician to come out on Monday 12-26-22. Now this second guy was very efficient in his work. He got to the cause of the problem, was very informative and professional. I would definitely use their service again and recommend them. Kudos to the technician Tyler! Job well done!

    They took 3 different visits to get our septic flowing properly and over charged what was quoted on the phone each time. The first visit was a service call which we knew we would be charged for digging up the tank lids but the person only dug up 1 instead of both so both side of our tank were not emptied like my receipt said. Was thinking of having them do our septic field in the spring but wouldn’t ever call them again. Would rather pay more with a more reputable company. Felt more like they ripped us off each time to continue charging us.

    Called for service of a backed up sewer line. Came out within the hour very fast. Repair tech Josh was very nice and friendly answered any questions I had. Finished work fast in 20-30 min. Will use them again for any issues in the future. Highly suggest anyone with backed up sewer issues like we had to use them.

    Tylor arrived early and identified the issue causing none of my pipes to drain. He knocked it out in less than an hour and had me all fixed up! Very friendly, very reasonable price, will call again if I ever have any issues down the road!

    UNBELIEVEABLE! Our church in Holly had a drain obstruction. Not complete, but after a while slow flush etc. So, we called a recommended drain cleaner to snake the line to the street. They ran 100ft of snake and it did not clear the line. We told them that about 15 years ago the same thing happened, and one 100ft snake did not clean it, but when they went and got another 100ft the 200ft cleared the line. They told us that there was supposed to be a cleanout every 70 ft and that we would have to have one installed, recommended a service that would install one for $5000, left without fixing anything and charged us full price. So, I called Root-A-Way, and told them we need 200ft of snake put in our line. They said the cost was $350, and they could do it the next morning. Two men and two trucks showed up right on time and ran the 200ft of snake, but it still did not clean the line. They said it would have to be jetted, which they would do for $400. But since they did not clear the blockage, ONLY CHARGED US A $100 SERVICE CALL FEE, not the full $350. About an hour later a big truck and two men arrived, and ran over 250 ft of jet hose down the line, but still did not solve the problem, at which time the conclusion was it was really the Village part of the system that was at fault. Even though they stayed quite a while to talk to the village person, they still only charged us a $250 service charge because they did not fix it. The village finally concluded that the problem was in their part of the line, and it is now fixed. The bottom line is Root-A-Way did everything and more to justify charging the full amount both times, but only charged us the service charge because they were unable to clear the line, even though it was not their fault.

    We had Walter come out for an estimate on the 12th and was told we would receive an email with the estimate by the next day but did not receive it at all and it is now the 19th and I have called about the estimate just about every day because my family really needs the work done for our bath and always told that Walter will contact me, I even was sent to his voicemail and left a voicemail, and now I call for the last time today and told the same thing and that he will not be in for a few days. This is just terrible service, we wanted to get work done by Terry Allen because we were referred to by family but they don’t seem serious about the work they do. Would not recommend. Waste of time.

    Terri Allen is fantastic. Our plumber Chad did an excellent job with his helper Christian. I highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs.
