  1. They were quick in getting someone out for an estimate. The estimate given was extremely overpriced. The work to be done consisted of having new shower valves and faucet replaced. Roto Rooter quoted me $6,325.00. I could get a whole new tub and shower installed for less than that. I work for a plumbing company (out of the service requested area) and know this is purely taking advantage of consumers who may not know better. After reading their reviews (which I shouldve done beforehand) I see overpricing is the norm for you. SHAME ON YOU ROTO ROOTER FOR TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE IN NEED!

  2. The only reason I’m giving you’ll 5 stars ONLY because of Ray who came out to look at what was needed and with a great personality. After he call back to the office to get the price I almost feel out of my chair. To ask for 1,700.00 to adjust the stopper in the bathroom sink and change out the handle from the toilet that’s outrageous. I turn and someone and was charge 300.00. I’m sure some people will think nothing of paying what you’ll ask for but, I say this with nothing but respect, you’ll keep charging customers crazy prices you won’t be in business long.

  3. Called for a natural gas leak. The price was quoted as $1875. I have two small children and having the gas turned off is not an option in sub 30 temps. The service tech was in the house for two hours, removed a tile from my wall, and said a piece was loose and tightened it. While the technician himself was professional and courteous, the charges are outrageous. If you can, support your local plumbers. This company is charging exorbitant prices. The hole you see cost me 1875…. That’s ridiculous.

  5. I scheduled an appointment using the online scheduler. I selected the next day in the morning and thought I would get a call for a different date. But, tech arrived during the 4!hour window. He made a thorough assesment of the gas valve in our fireplace and determined it was not in need of repair. I was amazed that he didn’t immediately say he wanted to tear out everything and the cost would be thousands. He was professional and honest. Would use again.

    Richard and his team were knowledgeable, quick, clean, and professional. Econo West was our third proposal and turned out to be the best to fit our expected budget for same work as our first two proposals and quality equipment. We accepted their proposal on a Sunday afternoon and they were ready to start the next morning on Monday. They installed a completely new HVAC system, and a larger return and smart thermostat. Our 30 year old original system was barely functioning and terribly inefficient. Our AC hasn’t worked in 5 years and when it did, hardly made a difference in summer. I’m sure the others we received proposals from are fine contractors and do good work but Richard from Econo West didn’t hard sell a system or work we didn’t need and came in just under our budget number, which was not disclosed to any of the three contractors.

    They replaced my HVAC system that had completely broken down. The job was done in a few days once we knew what was needed. Richard Gomez was amazing. An asset to the company. Very knowledgeable & patient in making clear all that was involved. No pressure just said what was needed. I have known owner for years. Did not mention this fact at first & was so happy to see their excellent values have been carried over in their business & can be felt in their employees way of dealing with you. Very happy with my experience.

    Absolutely great service. The service guy, Richie, was super friendly and gave me a good explanation of what was wrong with the old heater and explained everything we would get with the new heater. The installer, Donald, was also friendly, and had no problem with me asking questions about certain things. He and I went through the check list of what the proposal said would be done and everything was done as promised. Speaking on service related to time, Richie came to the house and after we had an understanding of the old heater’s issues, he sent the proposal while we were talking, I agreed to the proposal and then they scheduled the appointment to fit a time good for me. I am a old school Palmdale High class of 83 graduate and Econo West has been around for a very long time, based on my review, you understand why. Thanks Econo West for the great service.

    Econo West have been servicing my units for 15 years. I have absolute confidence in their proficiency. When Cody advised that my aging and rusting furnace needed to be replaced soon, I got a second opinion which confirmed they were correct. I decided not to wait for it to stop operating. They replaced the AC and furnace in half a day at a reasonable price and included a 15 year warranty!

    Our water heater stopped working and we have American Home Shield who contracts with the plumber. They were able to come out same day and offer a diagnosis which was just parts. They weren’t able to obtain the parts since we had an older unit. They replaced the water heater 2 days later. We had Brad and another guy, I did not catch his name. They showed up on time and got the job done quickly. I appreciate the great customer service!
