If there was ever a store to tell you something is wrong with the economy, this particular Best Buy would be used as an example. The store was barren of any help outside the front end, and the few that were further deep were taking down displays and could not be bothered.
And the inventory they had was… Just as short stocked. With even movies being reduced to one small little shelf run. And parts of the gaming center are just flat out empty. Outside Switch, most PS5 and Xbox was just not kept clean or stocked.
Thankfully, aforementioned front end crew helped me after my little adventure into a tech wasteland. And tracked down their remaining copies of Persona 5 Royal for Nintendo Switch. A newly released game with no indication it exists on the sales floor.
By Play Casket YT (5 months ago)Best buy’s always a good experience, my phone died and I went in there to see if the geek squad could get the date off of it to put onto a new phone that I had bought off of an online app. Even though I couldn’t get the phone turned on they were totally able to get all the data off and on to my new phone it was like I had my old phone but in all new setting. They’re always very nice, polite, professional, and they always know what they’re doing and have a very good way of explaining it to layman’s like myself. I would highly recommend Best Buy for any kind of technical purchases or repairs, or any kind of knowledge you need to know about electronics computers and the like. They usually price match items from Amazon as long as they are sold and shipped by Amazon. Today I went to buy a gaming headset that was on sale on Amazon for $29.99 originally $79.99. Best Buy would not price match because the sale price was “more than half off” so “they couldn’t profit enough to make the match” so I bought it on Amazon as the manager was telling me I couldn’t get the headset at price match price. Now the headset will be at my house in 2 days. And this is exactly why Amazon is killing the in store purchases and all physical stores. So if Best Buy wants to deny a sale. Then they definitely won’t “profit” when I walk out the door without their product in my hands. Salespeople were commissioned and pushy and prices so so. Wow has it ever changed. I was in the market for an updated TV and BB had the lowest price for that model. I was amazed then about how well stocked, how friendly, informed and accommodating they’ve become. We had a true technical expert with Armani (sp?) who found the TV and walked us through all the specs. Kudos Best Buy,By John Alpine (4 months ago)I went to this Best Buy about 20 min. to close. The guy at the door kind of greeted me, but had his attention on fixing something on his little podium. He asked: “Ya need any help tonight”? To which I replied: “No, I don’t think so”. That was the ONLY person who said anything to me the whole time in the store. Well, as it turns out, I did have a couple questions and it seemed I was completely invisible. Now this is not my typical Best Buy experience, and I could even say this had a lot to do with the time of night I was there, but still… Is it just me or has the whole world of customer service gone right out the window? It wasn’t long ago that stores valued their customers and stayed open until the hour they had on the door. With this visit, it felt more like they couldn’t wait to be rid of me and deliberately acted like I was invisible so no one had to actually “work”! So attempting to rectify my experience for game shopping elsewhere, figured a Best Buy may have the solution. This Best Buy was NOT that answer.
The store is exceedingly small, and their games are not even displayed. The only games are paper prints of exclusively Mario related games, or Madden. You are forced to go from all the way to the back to the front to inquire about the games you wish to buy. So you are thrusted into a waiting line that serves all thee services at once. And because of this, they encourage to only ask about 1 game, 2 if they’re slow.
And my green butt ran out of luck as they have to look it up online and then physically go to the back and check that inventory. Which just makes the wait last even longer. And the dude didn’t even know how to spell “Chonicle” correctly.
Unless you’re looking for Mario or Mahomes, don’t try this place for your gaming needs. It is abysmal.

Seriously.Needed help picking out a stereo and all of the fun parts associated and the folks there triple checked my order to make sure everything was correct, and went out of their way to get me the last open box deal that saved me couple hundred dollars. On top of that, the team there helped me move up my appointment and reschedule all of the parts just to help me get this done sooner. Fantastic folks.
I wish I remembered the name of the person that helped me yesterday, but I don’t see it on the receipt. Thank you to Jordan, the GM for helping me sort everything for the appointment.

281274774These CASE ID numbers appear to be useless, because the store refuses to look into them (even though corporate says they have access). Even after showing the management here A TRANSCRIPT DIRECTLY FROM SUPPORT, they refuse to help me.
Shop somewhere else, or at least go to another Best Buy that has competent staff. It’s clear the management/staff here is too lazy to process returns or paperwork.
EDIT: Denver West BestBuy has resolved all my issues and is a perfect example of A+ customer support. They actually looked at my case IDs, read my transcripts, and provided me credits for items I didn’t even purchase from their store. Instead of accusing me of lying and theft, they were honest and said mistakes happen all the time for online orders. ALWAYS check your purchases before leaving the store. Otherwise, you may be accused of theft by management at Northglenn.

While I do most of my shopping online, the ability to go into a store and get questions answered and issues resolved is important. Each time I’ve done so, Jordan and the rest of the staff have been excellent. This is the most pathetic display for car audio retail ever (see photo).
1. There is almost NOTHING on display; they have nothing to sell you
2. There is no sound booth to test anything even if they had something to sell you
4. I wandered the store for nearly 20 minutes and there are NO employees ANYWHERE.
My last visit to Best Buy ever.
I like this location because the staff is always friendly and helpful. When I have questions on a product, they are happy to help me get the info I need to make a decision that’s right for me.
This best buy has had good and bad years. As leadership has changed the staff has felt the pressure and either been better or worse on the customer service level. At this point they seem to be in a better customer service mode. I was asked if I needed help by 75% of the crew that I walked by. The rest were either doing something they couldn’t break away from or they were already with a customer. I have grown up around this store and seen it go from 50% electronics 50% media with a splash of appliances to a more rounded retailer after the digital age started. I just wish they would go back to applauding customers that walk in when the doors open at the start of the day. The first time I experienced that you had my loyalty.
We went to buy a Fitbit. The man working told me we would be next. After about 30 minutes I asked him if he forgot about us because he was helping newer folks and he snapped at me about being under staffed like me asking him that question was out of pocket. Ended up just leaving and buying it elsewhere. Met this dude though…
Best buys have the worst car audio installers. I’m so glad they are shutting all their install bays down. Don’t hire high schoolers that have no business working on cars. Can’t wait till best buy is out of business.
