a year agoI did hvac work in this place and it’s beautiful and very roomy and I’d like to go back just to see it again and find out more about this place10 years agoIt was great staying at the Bridle Path Inn. The location is exotic, especially the view from the porch. Noise free and complete privacy was an additional feature. The best was of course the Inn keepers–Fred and Carol, who made me feel as if I have come to me relatives’ house. They were very caring and loving. Beautiful accommodations, beautiful city. Nice and quiet. Enjoyed my conversations with the owner, he was always helpful with my questions about where to go and what to see in the area. Will return if my health permits.
I stayed at this accommodation in October 2020. The property was nice, but I was dissatisfied with the owner because he didn’t communicate all of his expectations to me in advance.
The owner now makes claims of too many people staying in the home but that claim was never made in VRBO review and I was never asked about that during my stay. He says I wasn’t responsive, but none of his messages asked for a response. They seemed like automated messages just hoping we were enjoying our stay…etc… then after I give his place a 5 star review he did not reciprocate and made claims that I didn’t communicate with him. Unfortunately I just wanted a quiet and relaxing weekend but he wanted me to interact with him. Some people like me just prefer peace and quiet. I’m just explaining the situation. All truth with my views. No slander or disparagement here. Unfortunately VRBO doesn’t allow patrons to update reviews after owners make negative claims about them that can only be read after the fact.
I have visited here several times over the last three years, and have always had a 5-Star experience. The home is lovely, the rental is private, clean, and updated. The owners are always kind and accommodating. This will continue to be my “go-to!”
I stayed here in January 2019 with three friends. We arrived very late after a long day of travel and we were thrilled by how cozy and relaxing this place is. It’s beautiful, comfortable, and super quiet. We would love to stay again!
What a great place! I stayed there this past weekend (October 9-10, 2021) and it was great. Very comfortable, very well done – a great look and feel to it. There are two chairs outside, by the front door, and I could have stayed in those chairs enjoying the fresh air for days. But I didn’t, because it’s close to downtown Asheville! I definitely recommend this place, and hope to get back there soon.
