  1. What happened at Best Buy is a mystery to me. Applied for credit to purchase a best buy phone deal. REJECTED for no good reason. I paid cash and case closed. The return policy is also crazy there. The phone was ok though. Not a bad deal even though I had to do the deal out of pocket.

  2. Poor service , long wait to achieve simple request . I tried to replace my screen protector after it broke for a 4th time, it hhs alife time warranty. After waiting 30 minutes , it was not in stock. I was told it needed to be ordered but i need to leave the damaged one or i would have to pay. I found that to be ridiculous and left. They need to provide better service. I am never going back there.

  3. Only reason why I come to this BB is because it’s a lot closer to me. The employees here only talk with one another when someone needs help. Not to mention all the broken items I’ve bought here unknowingly obviously. From a laptop, detachable keyboard, phone, and gaming pc. Immediately broken or not working when I get home. If I could I’d love to only go to the one across from west farms mall.

  4. I truly do not know how this Best Buy stays in business. I went in there at 7:30pm ready to buy a printer. Stood around looking at the different printers and reading the logistics on them. Two Best Buy employees were standing chatting at the computer registers. They looked over a couple times but neither one came over to help me. I don’t know if it is because I am a woman or because I was standing near the printers and that wasn’t a big enough sale for them but I ended up leaving and went to another store and bought a printer there. I do not plan on going back to this Best Buy again as I have received the same service numerous times here. If you really want good service and you don’t mind traveling too far, the Best Buy in Norwich is exceptional. They are willing to help anybody with anything and they are always right there when you walk in but not too intrusive. If it wasn’t so late at night I would have driven down there.

  5. Great inventory and good service. Plenty of selection of newer tech, with the newest gadgets on display.

    They seem to lock up half the store, though, or restrict items to a paper version showing “please see an associate for details” (something along those lines). I understand in recent events why this occurred. It’s just frustrating when you’re debating spending $100-300 on a product and you come to the store to see it in person… only to not get the opportunity to see it in person.

    Despite this, it’s a good location. I’ve seen about a dozen stores throughout the New England area. This is definitely your local average to better-than-average Best Buy.

    Sadly changing my review after 4 years. Had a horrible experience today returning an item. Initial cashier was very friendly, upon manager arriving the mood shifted. Ms. Manager already came with an attitude and questioned my return. Like I told her I was returning a gift, keep in mind it was a video game. After providing her my phone number and other possible numbers, she unenthusiastically agreed to exchange my item at a price half of what it cost due to no receipt. I have no issue with the policy and gladly left. I wanted to share my distaste at the service provided by “management” at this Best Buy. To Ms Manager, If you don’t enjoy working in retail and your day sucks that much, consider a career where you don’t deal with customers. Customers come to spend money at the store that pays your salary. Consider treating them with more respect and humility.

    So been here a few times, the workers and their managers are very helpful. Bought an appliance one time, had problems with the first one delivered, had a dent & didn’t even work. We had to get another one & another delivery date & change our work schedule to make it work a 2nd time. But it all worked out, delivery guys were nice & helpful.

    Another time I bought a phone online, it had a problem. So had to go to the physical store to get it replaced. But somehow it got cancelled since the store ran out. So had to make calls to customer service, had to go repurchase the phone & repurchase the protection plan & had to try get the sale price I originally bought phone at so it was a hassle and took time away from things…

    But otherwise, good service on the workers part!

    Had an excellent experience on three different occasions. The most recent being a purchase of a range and microwave from Mark. Stand up guy. Lots of knowledge. I hope you guys are paying him enough because you don’t want to lose him. Also a shout out to the delivery guys. Also top notch . Thanks again.

    I’ve always admired the customer service. The men and women here are able to answer your questions and help you with good deals. I did my homework and came prepared to compare washing machines and I still learned more. Two different associates were there to help me make the decision. I was also helped through the warranty decision and I ended up financing it instead of putting it on a credit card. A wonderful experience. I also got a discount card which save me money yesterday.

    It is with pleasure that I write this review about the customer service I received today at the store. Throughout the store’s existence, I was always reluctant to go to the store due to bad customer service received. Today I was served by Jeremy Cervone and his service surpassed all other bad experiences. He was patient in giving me all the explanations regarding the washer machine and not only personally dispatched the machine to my car immediately. It was assisted by two other sellers who were also very attentive, but I don’t have their names. In less than an hour, I had the machine in my house.

    Best Buy has a “new to me” policy now where you have to check in at the front desk before entering the sales floor. Don’t know if this is due to shortage of personnel or some other reason. (Do they think they are the Apple Store?). They do let you enter the floor without a chaperone though so that is good. They say if you need assistance to return to the door greeter. Store was very disorganized, inventory sketchy but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt it is the same supply chain issues everyone has. Funny that there was only one person in line at register but a big line at Customer Service.

    My daughter purchased a few items. Then the warranty was phenomenal 199.00 for two years on anything you purchased. It was worth it. I found everything even extra items. They price match with other stores which I love instead of going to a few stores. Save time and gas.

    Store is clean and pretty well organized. Employees are always busy though. The customer service person was stuck cashing out and handling refunds as there was no one at the registers… I get it. We’re all short-staffed these days and Best Buy employees do a great job giving customers all the time and information they need, but this leaves all the other customers in the store feeling ignored.

    I recommend a greeting policy. When an employee comes within 10 feet of another customer that they aren’t working with they greet them and let them know that someone can help them “soon” if they need anything. This also lets the customer they’re taking care of have the chance to realize they’re monopolizing the employee’s time.

    5 stars for the customer service rep. 3 stars for the rest of the store for staffing issues.

    Didn’t have one of the items I was looking for. The other item was 5 times more expensive than Amazon. Employees were helpful but absolutely no good reason to purchase from best buy.

    Walked in looking to buy a couple of items, nobody greeted me (no big deal) walked around a bit and found what I needed. I looked for a sales rep that wasn’t busy talking to other sales reps. No luck. I finally interrupted one of the sales people and asked for help, I was told it wasn’t their department. I looked up my item and found it $50 cheaper on Amazon. As I left, I mentioned my experience to the young lady near the entrance. She said “that’s why you need to check in when you walk in” I replied that I wasn’t aware of that, then with an attitude she said “we told you that when we greeted you” 🤦‍♂️
