3 weeks agoFinally a store that is nice and organized. Wide selection of snacks, drinks, greeting cards, Halloween decorations, kitchen supplies, stationary, balloons, beauty items too. Wish the balloons were still 1.25 like everything else but still a good deal2 months agoGood place for the basics. They have decent patties for hamburger at a great price.6 months agoWish all dollar tree carried same items have to go store to store just to find what I’m looking for. That’s my only complaint other then that love ❤️ dollar tree3 months agoHorrible and rotten stench inside the store. Multiple employees yet only 1 cashier. Won’t be returning7 months agoStopped by on a Tuesday, first time at this store. Very clean, well stocked and staff were very friendly. I highly recommend.

a year agoCalled the Valencia store looking for Cotton Nautical Rope. First person said he never heard of it. Second person didn’t know anything, third person told me to call tomorrow morning to talk to the manager. I called Newhall, they knew what I was talking about and put four aside for me to pick up. Plus Newhall is neat and organized…thank You Newhall Dollar Tree!!4 years agoLove the service I have gotten here this last 6 months. Respectful, courteous, kind, and helpful are but a small sample of what I think of the staff. They do occasionally run out of some items I buy regularly. But restock they do. And the manager had no problem rummaging in the back to find if there was any left. Dollar Tree on Newhall Ave is my preferred shopping venue. This review was not paid, nor solicited.
2 years agoI Love our Newhall, California Dollar????Tree????Store •_• Smiles! It’s SO convienient – I live across the street! It’s true what reviews say about it being clean, has lotsa items, I must say some comments on the reviews I’m having a hard time understanding reviews I read weren’t so great about Customer-Service and some employees say or do somethings like was said? Like, be rude to customers. I’ve never had a issue or need to speak to CS however “IF did maybe the customer is the one approached Customer-Service incorrectly bec I’ve been in stores seen CS being treated wrongly many times. It’s more like customers go in a store taken on lotsa attitude bec they’re not pleased with a item or want a refund. If an employee takes on an attitude it’s generally provoked by a customer and I can honestly say: A CUSTOMER IS’NT ALWAYS RIGHT, NO! ! ! Sincerely, Angels xox
4 years agoAlways clean. Only has a few employees but check out is usually pretty short. Sometimes people hangout outside, but overall a great place to pick up whatever you need.7 years agoKind of older, but everything is obviously very cheap. Good for food when you’re on the tightest of budgets, but I wouldn’t recommend buying tools here. Kitchen utensils are usually a safe bet, though.

I go to Dollar Tree for all my decorations for every holiday, all special occasion cards and many other items. Always find it well stocked. Employees are very helpful. This last visit shocked me as I noticed the prices had gone from $1.00 to $1.25 per item. Everyone else has gone up, why shouldn’t Dollar Tree?
Still good prices and a wide variety. I just assumed prices would always stay the same. Well, you know what they say about assuming…………….
Still a good buy.
What a bad experience. With a yamada employee RITA.. SHE IS VERY DESPOTE.. SERVES PEOPLE WITH BAD JUDGMENT.. IT’S HORRIBLE I WILL NO LONGER GO TO BUY HAI…????
Went in for St. Patrick’s Day decor and luckily we scored! Thank you DT! All the Easter stuff is out too. Lots of DIY craft stuff as well, something for everyone! Will post photos after I get the decorations up at work. ????
The manager at the Dollar is completely un professional and rude. He yelled me and my wife when we tried to talk to him. Avoid this location at all cost. He needs to be fired.
If I could give zero stars, I would. First off, I love Dollar Tree items. I stopped by to buy some birthday supplies. I was looking around, when a young kid about 14 years old came in the front door. Immediately, the cashier Bella pointed at him and said out. He looked confused and she said you know the rule, only 1 kid allowed in at a time. He said to her “I had no clue there was another kid in the store”. It’s not a small store. Tell me how he is supposed to know when he walks in that there is another kid in the store??
After 5 minutes, the other student was checking out and 3 kids were waiting now to access the store. The first waiting kid asked if he could come in now, since the other kid was in line. Bella told him No! Get back! He pointed out to her that the other kid is paying and should be able to come in. Bella pointed at him and told him to get back or she will call the police on them.
I stepped in – my heart broke for these 3 Latino boys. I stepped in as parent and walked with them throughout the store so they could make their purchases…imagine that! Paying customers!
I was confronted by the manager and cashier in mid aisle & told I must take responsibility for the 3 kids, which I was already doing. I told her what this location is doing is illegal and a horrible way to treat young brown boys. She said some kids caused trouble at the store a couple years ago. Dollar Tree, then get a security guard, but don’t start treating young kids in our community like they have committed a crime before they’ve entered your store. Someone train Bella to have some customer service and not to speak to customers rudely, regardless of age and gender.
I’ve lived in Canyon Country almost my whole life – 46 years, and I am ashamed that Dollar Tree Canyon Country’s best solution to the possible behaviors of young kids is to treat them with no dignity and respect. Collaborate with the city, the schools, the other stores, etc. to come up with a better solution. Stop causing trauma to our children.
