  1. Our 20+ year old water heater died on us and had to be immediately replaced. I contacted at least 7 plumbing companies and Mr. Rooter was the only one who had same day availability. Also, the rep told me they did not charge for assessment. Kevin and Noel showed up and once they looked at it, we got a quote and approved the order. There were too many issues with our old tank. The shut off valve was not working at all and water gushed out into the garage (we were fine but poor Kevin was soaked). Also, the water heater tank was too large for its storage (not sure how prior owners managed to fit a 50 gallon tank into storage meant for 40 gallons). Kevin had to cut the gas pipe and faucet pipe (which he fixed later) just to get the tank out. We also had an issue with the outside pressure which he fixed. He did not charge us for the extra repairs. Kevin and Noel worked tirelessly on our water heater from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm, with no break. We offered food and water but they opted to finish the job and cleaned up before leaving. We were very impressed with their work ethic. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I would highly recommend this company if you need plumbing work done and hopefully you will get Kevin and Noel who will give you exemplary work! Thank you guys!!!

  3. I called on a Sunday and was service was provided the same day where as others I called said the earliest date was Wednesday.
    The gentleman Richard they sent out was very polite respectful of my home. He gave us options and made us feel comfy with our decision. He got right to work and knew what he was doing no doubt in his work or on his face. Very good experience .

  4. Joshua and David responded to initial call and were helpful, friendly and honest about what was in the best interest to keep from any future sewer problems. Noel(aka Flex) and Kevin(aka Shades)showed to install the new sewer pipe after first doing a pressurized cleaning which killed the roots that had broken through the original pipe.

    They were all very patient when my parents our I asked a question. They also explained every procedure to us perfectly. And our water has been running perfectly through our sewer pipe since it was repaired. My parents want to thank them all again.

  5. In February 2023 Mr Rooter came to unclog the main drain. It had backed up and over flowed, raw sewage everywhere! They came and did an excellent job. Richard was great! He explained everything and answered our questions.

    I called to ask them to come out because the showers and toilets were backed up again. Richard came out, it took him 3 hrs but only because he was at a customer’s house. He got to work and unclogged the drain within 20 mins. Thank you Richard!

    Ryan and this team showed up on time and all together. We walked the installation and then they all went to work. Ryan pointed out a couple things that were not correct from a past install with a different company. Ryan could have taken short cuts and left it but Ryan and his team went over and beyond to fix their work and make everything correct. We had new AC ducts and vents installed with Ballard. The quote process was seamless, and one point of contact through Ryan. Ryan meet with my Dad when I was out of town, and 2-phone calls later I have new ducting throughout the house with much better air flow. I am very impressed with all my interactions with the Ballard Team. I was referred to Ballard for their customer service and fair pricing. And they didn’t let me down. Anyone I know that needs AC work completed, I’ll refer Ryan and Ballard. Thank you for the great work and we look forward to using our AC and Ballard servicing for many years to come. -Chris

    After researching several different brands of A/C units online and getting several estimates, along with speaking to Dennis about replacing our two 16 y/o York units (one was leaking and causing damage to our ceiling), we went with Dennis/Ballard and set an install date of 9/10/21. We chose to go with (2) complete Carrier 3-ton 16 seer units. Their pricing seemed reasonable when compared to others, and their Google reviews speak for themselves. I’d like to tell you everything went as expected with the install, however I can’t. Their crew of 5 showed up as scheduled and took the time to cover flooring and personal property to protect it. (appreciated) The removal of the old units and install of the new Carrier units seemed to go seamlessly, only taking around 6 hours from start to finish. Before leaving they cleaned up any mess they made, which was also appreciated. By the time they left our house it was cool both upstairs and now downstairs as well. I’m a do-it-yourself guy, who had done a lot of different types of construction work when I was younger. So, I know more than most. I decided after they left, to go up into the attic and check out the new units. I had been up there a lot over the past week drying out the insulation and making sure there wasn’t any additional leaking from the running unit. I noticed right away that the top of the NEW evaporative coil box they had just installed was crushed! Obviously, I wasn’t happy, I had just spent about $20,000 and they installed this? I had done online research on this unit, so I knew based on pictures there was some void area near where it was crushed, and it might not have damaged to the coil. However, they obviously made no attempt to pull the dent out, and it was on the edge where it connected to the air handler unit. There was NO way for there to be a proper seal of the two connected units regardless of how much tape they used. Why would a respectable company knowingly complete the install of a damaged product, without consulting their supervisor or me? Had I not traveled back up into the attic to check out my new A/C, the damaged unit would still be up there. Would this damage VOID the manufacturer’s warranty? Likely! What would have happened if 4 years down the road, I had to call Ballard because the unit stopped cooling. Would they have taken responsibility for that damage? I checked out the rest of the attic install, and everything else looked as it should from what I could tell. So, I went outside to check out the compressor units, and there I found that they had failed to strap down both newly replaced units properly. Obviously, not as critical as the coil, however, I was informed prior to installation, they would be. So, this just added to the frustration. I called Dennis right away and told him about my concerns with the quality of the work done at my home. Ultimately, insisting that the coil box be replaced, and the condensers secured. To his credit, Dennis said he would do whatever was necessary to make us happy. Had the coil been what it should have been, I’d have given Ballard 5 stars. But I have to be real, we spent a lot of money and deserved better than this. We have a 2-year parts and labor warranty, and I will update accordingly.

    The service technicians were all very professional. Ballard installed a new AC unit and I am very pleased with service and also the price. At a time when everything is increasing price, Ballard honored the price that they gave me last year. I was able to get the system because of that. Satisfied customer.

    My AC broke down and I waited 1 month already, but my home warranty kept delaying the repair. I contacted BHI to get a quote. They came in next day for free estimate. They explained the options to me very well. Their price was very reasonable comparing to 3 other contractors that provided a quote. Some contractors didn’t even show up to get a estimates like they promised and wasted my time. All the contractors I selected got good to great reviews, and BHI was the best for price and services. I did do a lot of research and shopped around because I am an unemployed stay home mom. I spoke to BHI customer service line and with Adam for like 10 times regarding my concerns for the new AC installation. Every time, they were friendly and willing to answer my questions. I thank them for their professional and understanding that it was a big project for me. I got my AC installed in few days which was a relieve in this hot weather. I will definitely use them again if needed and definitely recommend BHI to any one who need AC services.

    Had an issue with a clogged drain. Gave them a call and they were able to service same day. Technician arrived in between the time slot they gave me. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with his inspection. He took care of the problem, gave me an estimate for maintenance that I should take care of and also offered me their membership program. Will definitely use them again, all pricing and estimates were on his device. I didn’t feel like he was making up prices on the spot. Everything was transparent and that is a huge deal for myself.     For the past week, I’ve had to deal with huge leak coming from the dishwasher. The water valve had malfunctioned and it was continuously pumping hot water out the dishwasher. The problem was getting out of hand because the flood was spreading throughout the house. When I called Henley’s Plumbing and Air, they were very communicative with me right away. They contacted me back fast and also was flexible in rescheduling my repair time. Ricardo Castro came to help me and he was great! He was honest, witty, and super knowledgeable. He came in and handled the problem like a boss. He diagnosed the situation, got the proper procedures, and did his work. He made a problem that was huge for me and my housemates into a new learning experience and brought awareness to me regarding the other problems in the house.
