What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Went shopping this morning around 9.30am, friday 8/9/2023. Firstly asked for the party staff to use his phone to check 2 products availability from his stock. He checked one, and said they don’t have any of what am looking for for both items. Later when l walked past a rack, l found a few if what l was looking for. Went up to him again, he admitted to checked only one of my 2 choices.

I then turned myself to the staff who was at the entrance opposite woolies. That chick didn’t bother talking to me as she was busy exchanging/ flirting with the security guy. The latter told me to walk all the way down the customer service desk to look for the manager, instead of the girl at the entrance using her w.talkie.

Then surprisingly, the dude at the CSD did his job briantly, was concerned and apologised on behalf.. as the manager or asm didn’t bother showing up. However, a nice lady at the checkout did make me feel valuable, and l thank her for her hard work having to put up with these people she work with.

Note. You can check your cameras to check these people at the entrance. Maybe they should get a room if they are so desperate.

  2. I purchased a large and cumbersome item from this store today. On the way out I was accosted by a very belligerent security guard, wanting to see my receipt. He touched me twice in an attempt to detain me or something, I felt it was very inappropriate. He was of course, after some juggling of item, provided with the desired receipt. I will avoid this store in the future and would recommend anybody that values their personal space to do the same. Big W do not provide an email address to forward any questions regarding in store experience and do not take calls after 6pm.

  3. Being treated as a thief by the security guard. 6 Jan 2024 – 4pm. Our group only one handbag with the size smaller than an A4 size. It’s about privacy and it is by law that we can actually refused to be checked. The security guard has been super rude and said “I am not kidding! I have to check your bag! Even handbag, look at the condition of entry”. We do not mind letting him check the bag, but the rudeness made us pissed.
I cannot even find a place to complain in BigW page.

  4. Organized, Those who work there are always able to help you and give where the products are located.
Since two years I go to BIGW to buy all what I need for my home, cloths and for my skin care products 🙏🏻🌻☀️
    I LOVE ITTT
