  Been going here for awhile now. Still hella chill, and def love the cuts a get. I have used a few of their barbers at this point, and can sincerely say I haven’t had a bad cut yet. They listen and if something needs a touch up at the end; it’s done with no issue. That being said I also treat them with respect and it’s reciprocated.

  When I first moved here, I was recommended Old Bank Barbers and every time I go, I’m so grateful that I was! They are queer and trans affirming and even gave me my first “Big Cut” (cut off my long hair in order to help me achieve a more masculine look) and aren’t dissuaded by my dyed hair. $25 for a great haircut is an absolute steal. The barbers are very friendly and make good conversation or are comfortable working in silence if that’s what you prefer. They are also very willing to listen to what you want; even if you don’t know any of the terminology, they’ll work with your descriptions to help get you there. (If you’re not sure, bring pictures!) Possibly the best part is that you can choose your barber when you book online, so after you find your favorite you can keep working with them! Many times I’ve seen them take walk-ins when there’s a barber available. Lastly, if you have any questions, reach out to them on their website or over the phone!

  Asked for it to be rounded in back, even showed her a picture(see below), she tapered it to a point; didn’t trim my neck; sideburns were very uneven, with one coming to the bottom of the earlobe and one extending past the bottom of my ear(I fixed that one best I could with razor). First time going here, will be the last.

  Superb experience with hair cut and beard trim. My barber, George, was very talented, worked very efficiently, and was a great conversationalist. What more do you want from a barbershop. Very much recommended.

  Came in with long hair specifically asked just for some thickness to be taken out and add some layers while just shortn the back so it’s more off the shoulder. I got a long fad buzz style on the side and the top shortn inches!! I even showed them a photo and it’s nothing like that! I never had a shop give me a hair cut completely different then I asked as this one. I would leave negative stars if I could. If you have long hair, go to a salon this isn’t the place for you.

  I drive 30 minutes every Sunday to get my haircut by Scott Mitchell. Most barbers get my haircut right 70% of the time, but Scott hits it out of the ballpark—every single time.

  This place is a great spot for a haircut. My go to is a haircut after work and then hit up Clock Bar upstairs for the chicken sandwich (one of the best in Bmore) and a beer. Brendan did an awesome job when I decided to change my hair up and I’ve been coming back ever since.

  I love QG. You’ll get pampered! Super friendly staff and the professional barbers are on point. I love the bar upstairs called CLOCK. Great food and great service.

  Getting custom suits made at the QG has been by far the worst mistake I made in our wedding planning process, and I can only beg people not to work with this unreliable business. Spoiler alert: it’s 3 days away and I will not have anything to wear.

  These people took thousands of dollars and three months to screw up every part of the order me and my soon-to-be-husband put in for our wedding suits, and I am now days away from my wedding with nothing to wear. One suit was ordered in the wrong fabric, another simply is not going to arrive before the wedding (and will also be in the wrong fabric). Throughout we have tried to be in touch, ask why things are delayed by weeks, and were given reassurance after reassurance that we would be fine and that Ronald was “micromanaging” the order.

  Because of the fine work of the QG, I am now three days from my wedding and need to go to the mall to buy a suit to wear. I cannot put into words how miserable and upsetting this is. These suits were a part of the wedding both of us were incredibly excited about, and given every opportunity not to, they have completely ruined it.

  I had something really important come up so I could not show up for the appointment there, and they charged my credit card!!!

  I told them that I would reschedule to the next day but they said they would charge my credit card anyway.

  Honestly, their services aren’t even that great and not worth the money. These people are scammers, and “their policies” about charging your credit card if you don’t show up is completely unethical. No other barbershop I know have ever done this.

  I would give 0 stars if I could. This is how you lose loyal customers!
