  I have been going to Dermatology Associates for many years, probably at least 15 years all together and I have always had a good experience. I remember several years ago I had a concern about my ear lobe and forehead, after careful examination, those areas were fine but Dr. Laura checked something on my back and found I had a melanoma. I am thankful that she knew exactly what she was looking at and I had surgery rather quickly. Since moving to Florida 28 years ago I treat the sun with respect, when I lived up north in New Jersey I was in the sun all the time in the summer before fall came. I loved summer. I have a new respect for it today. You will always be treated well here and have a good experience.

  It was my first time at this practice. I loved the doctor and was very pleased with my time spent with her. Everyone was very helpful and kind. My only additional comment is that I waited at least a month to see the doctor. When I made the appointment it was still hot & humid which was the cause of my issue. By the time I had my appointment, the humidity had dropped so my symptoms were not as noticeable. I will continue to go to this doctor in the future.

  Office staff and physicians are always so pleasant and they do a great job at coordinating and confirming appointment times. Dr. Laura is very nice, gentle and patient and takes her time addressing patient concerns. I’ll be a lifelong patient for sure!!

  Everything went great. She was able to identify my issue right away. Got me the cream I needed to help with dark spots I started getting recently under my eyes. The compounding pharmacy called me 1 hr later and shipped my cream same day. I can’t wait to see if the cream helps.

  Excellent experience – office is very nice, clean and nicely decorated so that you don’t feel like you are at a doctor’s office. When I called for my first appointment I actually asked to see another Doctor but was told he no longer sees patients and that I would have loved Doctor Barbulescu. Turned out to be correct, she is great, knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manners….. and also a flawless skin, which is a pretty good advertisement of herself! She answered my questions and explained what to be on the lookout for, when examining my skin. Recommended.

  My office visit with D. Chauncey Caldwell Barbulescu started the day I met her and the day I call to make an appointment. They answered in a timely manner and I was treated with excellent service. I knew right right then I would be happy when it was time to go to my appointment. When I walked through the door the atmosphere was peaceful, clean and esthetically beautiful. I was greeted with professionalism and attentiveness and a smile. I was taken back to the room and I felt like i was part of a family. All I can say is the words they said to me made me feel confident and they had my back and they gave me hope for my situation. Dr. Chauncey is an amazing Doctor she cares and she takes her time to explain everything to you without rushing. All I can say is that PHDermatology set the standard.   My first visit at PHDermatology – South Tampa I was greeted by such a nice friendly woman at the intake area who took my information, this set the tone for me entire visit. The wait was about five minutes before being called back to see Dr. Chauncey Barbulescu. Dr. Barbulescu was fantastic, friendly, warm, and informed me completely about what was going on. She answered all my questions and made me feel like I was talking to a friend. I went back after a week and met with Dr. Scott Lindsey, another wonderful person. He was just as friendly and informative. The Nurses at the office were also wonderful people who seemed to really care about my comfort and made sure I didn’t have any questions unanswered. I received a follow up call after being seen, which was again just fantastic. What a great bunch of people! There is no doubt I have found my lifelong dermatology office.

  Martin Burke and his staff are outstanding. I have been going there for years for my skin condition that is a part of my genetics and cannot be cured.   Appointment wait time was quick, even for new patient. Nurse and staff were very kind and professional, doctor was confident and asked good questions, doctor had a med student there and it’s always nice to see learning taking place in a practicing environment.   Dr Burke and his staff were amazing. I came in for one thing and he was able to treat several other things i didn’t realize he could.   Don’t waste your time. The office has no idea how to run a medical office. I made an appointment and it was confirmed that my insurance was accepted. The day before my appointment I received a message that I needed to reschedule my appointment for a different provider. I called back to reschedule my appointment. After taking the morning off of work and driving to the office I walked in the door to be told that I was rescheduled with a provider who wasn’t going to except my insurance. Don’t waste your time. Find an office that can keep their scheduling straight.

  On my first visit, I had a “spot” removed with a circular cutter. They didn’t numb site enough & I could feel the cutter. “ouch” My second visit, they didn’t have my appointment in the system even though I spoke with the office a couple of times due to the NP’s not being available & they had to reschedule. Was told they could still see me that day. I had another “spot” removed. This time the NP injected the numbing shot so fast it REALLY burned the whole area. It hurt…….ALOT!! She was in a hurry (MY pain is HER gain) & wanted to leave room before I could even sit up from the table to ask my questions. Needless to say, I forgot to ask about a bump on my leg. I’ll be inquiring on that spot with a different dermatologist office!!!!!!

  I scheduled with this company back in May and one of their practitioners had to leave in an emergency and canceled my appointment. I had to have a procedure done before a certain date so I asked for my money back that I had to pay to make the appointment. It has been six months several phone calls and several emails I still have not gotten the money back. Thank God I didn’t go for the procedure if this is how they do business
